Im working perfectly with my mark3 now, believe me or not i have learn only watching and carefully practising always searching your tutorial videos with the right steps for my needs, so Dylan once again thanks for the tips, in rupes i really trust ❤
You guys have saved my day and a lot of money..... i was stressing out working on a white swift vdi year 2008 (indian model) and black swift dzire 2013 (indian model). It wasn't spreading evenly and afcourse was not happy with the results either(even woth most aggressive compound and pad conbi..) I tried even mixing them up a bit from polishing pads to medium or less aggressive compounds lol. It was here for single stage polish. So thanks for posting this video. Just so you, i am using LHR15 MARKii and i love this machine.... Still learning polishing and way to go...... a lot to learn. So thanks again. Subscribed
Well, that answers my question about my experience using these pads today....I was thinking now it's back to microfiber pads. Tomorrow round 2....Thanks from San Francisco.
Great job, I'm interested in the reason why you guys don't use a spray pad lube like Chemical guys or 3D 503 or distilled water. I know some detailers use them but many don't. I would like to know of your opinion on this when you get a chance. Thanks, Vince.
Please do tell.... do you prime all the pads in same manner.. i mean blue and yellow as well and what about the soft white pad? Does that require the same amount of pressure including the same amount of polish and method and so on. I purchased rupes whole sustem and so far happy with machine and all the pads except blue. I am using DMC5 by meguiars instead of blue pad for now since it's just not working for me. I am gonna try it as soon as i get a next job but for now please answer for what i asked.... Thanks in advance and for posting this video. My English is not that good so pardon me if you guys have already mentioned which i couldn't catch at first place.
I like to prime all of the pads this way, especially the blue, green, and grey. The blue pad takes some time to get used to. On the 6" pads foe the Duetto/LHR15 I might use three drops of compound to prime instead of four becaise of the reduced surface area of the porous foam. I'll sometimes place my drops a little closer to the center. I can sometimes re-load the pad with one or two drops of compound after the initial priming is done.
Something about the rupes blue, green and yellow pad seems off to me. The product does not spread at all. I rate MF pads with a pad washing technique. Less heat the better :)

great information, love all the videos Levi
LOVE IT!!
See if Dylan can do one for the microfiber pads!
Good info. Dylan is very knowledgeable.

great info and hanging to try this method on my next correction ;)
How about cleaning should you clean fully the pad after every panel?
I wonder if you could prime any foam pad like this?
same process for their lh19e rotary pads ????

What are your thought about applying Chemical Guys pad lube prior to use. Thanks
Not needed with Rupes buffing liquids.

Awesome Thanks 🙏
Is this the same with wool pads?
Do anyone know how long optimumforums.org will still be down? Levi?
Would you prime the pad like this after washing it? Or just the very first time you use the pad? E.g. when it's new.
Alex Evans every single time when you are about to use it for the first time on a vehicle
so what the differance between this and covering the pad with polish
youre wasting money. economically its not good for the user
Don’t over lubricate!! But seriously, great advice.
Awsome! just how I use them. All these people wasting half a bottle of polish/compound to "prime" a pad so counter productive and pointless.
Agreed.
