I hate the fact check that the ABC moderator threw at Trump after he brought this up. They spoke with the city official, who said this is untrue, but why would someone in power want to tell the world that their city is falling apart and their citizens don't feel safe.

I was a police officer in South Florida in the 80's. We had a lot of Haitians who were killing ducks and people's pets disappeared in the area they were. They stripped the molding and cabinets out of the buildings they were un and burned them in the yard as cook fires. Trump is correct I've saw it myself.

Im an Ohioan. There is a time and place for hunting and our beautiful parks are not it. We do NOT steel and butcher our neighbors ' animals. Ohio is mostly conservative and Springfield is located in one of the biggest conservative areas in Ohio. Put two and two together two months before the election. I feel we need to ban together as a state and tell the federal government that Ohio will not accept this.

I live in a small town in upstate New York. We have a Swan Pond that was gifted 100 years ago. It is very well-known and very, very loved. Birds kept disappearing, so they set up cameras when they were down to the last mated pair who fortunately had recently had babies. A couple of teen/young men captured the mother swan, and unalived her. Then they took her home to their mother who cooked her and they ate her. 😢The cygnets were too young to be on their own, and the dad swan was too distraught over losing his mate to care for them. They had to take them away for their safety, raise them up until they were big enough and then return them to the pond. Unfortunately, the Dad swan was still not accepting them and sadly they had to relocate him. The boys were thankfully found and charged. They also were Haitian immigrants.

Well there is a legal hunting season and in order To hunt migratory birds in Ohio, you must have the following: A valid Ohio hunting license, and have the Harvest Information Program (HIP) certification. So Why isn't the State of Ohio arresting these immigrants for taking ducks or geese? Even though they are immigrants, they have to follow our laws. If they were arrested an put in jail, then they would understand it is against the law. Why isn't the city bringing in an interpreter and taking the immigrants through an orientation that tells what the laws are about taking pets, and about camping in people's yards, all of those things. It seems to me that the City of Springfield has not done what they should have done to assimilate these immigrants even temporarily. Nor has the State of Ohio done their Part.

As a Springfield native (I live in Louisiana now but I visit home yearly) it is pathetic how Springfield has gone to hell in a hand basket and this is just okay because of the administration that is in office; we should just stick to the status quo and let this happen. I am the daughter of an immigrant father and 4th gen immigrant on my mother’s side. Everyone in my family came here legally and are naturalized citizens. My father came here, went to school and earned several degrees. Everyone lives a peaceful life and contributes to society. My father taught engineering and machinery for many years. We respect our neighbors and are respected by our neighbors. Only time we had problems were in the 90s when southwest Detroit was infested with gangs and the gangs were recruiting nonstop. Eventually our neighborhoods were cleaned up for the most part and we never want to go back to those days. During that time we did arm ourselves to protect ourselves and we are pro second amendment. It is during times like this that we realize how important American values are. We just want to live peacefully and we do not support unpeaceful people coming here, using our resources and disrespecting our communities and making it unsafe for our children, pets, families. As Americans we welcome peaceful legal immigration but illegal immigrants that aren’t safe to be around are a problem. Keep our country safe and protect Americans.

I went to the DFS (foodstamp) office bc I'm a legal guardian for a 22 yr old adult male. There was an American woman there that was turned away because she did not have her ID. I told her she should have said she was an immigrant and didn't own ID and she would get food stamps and full medical immediately. She smiled and laughed. He made it a law that they had to know the language, the culture, the history. Doubt now that even is happening if you’ve seen what France looks like today. I live here in Springfield Ohio and shit really is getting ridiculous. It's not just ducks, they're eating federally protected Canadian geese from our parks and people's pets as in cats! They are also stealing livestock from Farmers and killing them to eat. Car insurance rates are through the roof they have doubled in tripled in our area because they say we are at high risk area now & the cost of business is too high here. The number is wrong we are at about 35,000 Haitians now so a third of our population is draining all of our Resources with the health department our First Responders our police and we are in the middle of a housing shortage. I have 7+ people living above me in a two-bedroom apartment I've never seen so many new or newer cars in my life. Where are they getting the money in the bank credit to buy these brand new cars that they are wrecking or that they can't park dealerships that say they come in with social security numbers and vouchers for cars along with credit.... HOW?!? That Anthony Harris guy goes around town every day to all of the car wrecks the Haitians have caused in our city and there are multiples a day!! It was also an unlicensed Haitian driving illegally who hit a school bus and ended up killing a kid in our County. Our small City cannot handle this type of influx, we have to have something done!! I'm proud to say I'm voting TRUMP a third time as well!!

This is absolutely true. I work at a manufacturing plant that ships and receives a lot of freight and only about 3 out of every 10 truckers are American or can speak English. The rest don't bother even trying to learn. It's extremely concerning knowing they're on the road and can't read basic warning signs. I always wondered how they passed the CDL test.

It happened in Berlin a few years ago too when i lived there at the time. Illegal Refugees came and lived in the city parks, and suddenly swans and ducks were gone from the ponds. Once i read in the newspaper that apparently some people snuck into the zoo at night and killed a goat in the petting zoo. They only removed one leg though and left the rest of the goats‘ body there. It was found in the morning by the zoo personnell.

I went on a cruise in 2012. One of the ports was Hati. It was then I learned the earthquake money the country received years earlier went into the tourist area I was visiting, among other things that wouldn't benefit the local population. I noticed tall chainlink fences with armed guards keeping the local people away. There were people in tattered clothes glaring at us. I could taste the lothing they had for us. Hati was the only port we got back on the ship almost as soon as we got off. I feel like the people of Hati hAve been groomed for this moment. I could only imagine how many other migrants have been suffering 10+ years and then sent into suburban America like some sort of weapon to distract and disrupt.

The article that Amala referenced about the cat being butchered was fact checked and according to the police report for that incident, the neighbor did in fact kill to eat the cat..but she is a U.S. citizen and has lived here for 18 years. Perhaps (if this were true) the Haitians can give lazy American citizens workshops on how to process dogs, cats, geese & ducks into protein-rich meats.
