My daughter has disabilities. Her caregiver asked me today if she was registered to vote. I said yes, to which the caregiver replied “Good, because we need all women to be voting since we are facing such a threat to women in this election”. First off, she made a huge assumption that she’d vote for Kamala simply because they are both women. Secondly, this confirmed for me that a lot of people who provide care for the disabled community attempt to sway them into voting for the liberal platform.

I use TH-cam and other media when I need to give my brain a break, and to keep myself informed about what's going on in the world.
Fortunately, not everything on TH-cam is a waste of time or garbage for the brain. Certain channels, such as Amala's, provide content that is definitely worth consuming.

What I find interesting, is that TAYLOR SWIFT released her professionally written statement saying she supports Kamala Harris and will vote for Kamala Harris...but she did not tell her fans to vote for Harris...she told them to do their own research and vote for the candidate they think is best for them...all of the Left Media called her a GENIUS for that. Now, USHER was on The VIEW and unlike Taylor who released a statement, he said in person that he supports Harris and will vote for her, but, because he did not go on a Donald Trump hate rant and TELL black people to vote for Harris, the Hosts of The View seemed quite uncomfortable. Even Whoopi immediately after he spoke made comments saying that celebrities who don't publicly speak out against Trump on their platforms, are just not strong...not built like that...which seemed to be throwing SUBLIMINALS at Usher. Yes, it's worth more in a materialistic meaning in the sense that if 1 million people gives you $1 for something you do, you'll be a millionaire but not the same amount are paying the professions you listed and they earn less. You're meaning it in the sense of "practicability" or "usefulness" to society but that's not how things get their worth valued on. Yes money is a human fiction but capitalism is in human's DNA since it all comes down to reproduction and having the best/ most resources to find the best mate and to get ahead of the competition. The only time it bothers me is when it is used as an obvious attempt to sway their fans into voting a specific way. I’m in a Chicago suburb. The past two elections, most people who supported Trump didn’t put out Trump yard signs, Trump flags, etc. This year, they’re being much more bold here too. I feel like I’ve seen more Trump signs than Kamala signs at this point but I know our state likely will go for Kamala in the end, unfortunately.

We as a society need to encourage truth and kindness. We also need to mind our own business. It is no one’s business for whom another person supports politically or plans to vote for. I don’t have great respect for the critical thinking abilities of many celebrities, besides the fact that I don’t know them, so I could NOT care less whom they endorse. I can like their music, their acting, their writing, their physical prowess, etc., none of which are qualifications for being political advisors.
There used to be a time when it was impolite to talk about religion or politics unless you were among close friends. So at work, social situations where people don’t know each other well nobody talked about it. Celebrities weren’t asked about politics either because it was considered rude. I miss those times😢

I admire Caitlin Clark. We are not the same ethnicity, but I follow and watch her games really closely because she has raw, tremendous talent. Added to all of that, she is humble. Whenever I watch her games I always brag about her to my family. One day a relative of mine said she wished other WNBA players will get as much praise or recognition, with a silent because she's white that was confirmed by further comments and the "type" of players she said were not getting recognition. I was so uninterested and did not even utter any argument. She gets recognition because she has freakin rare talent for crying out loud. She literally is the reason most people watch the WNBA. The woke mindset is a disease, I swear.
