Just ordered a set of these for my 3rd gen 4runner in the same size. How do they do with the sharp Arizona rocks, I live in AZ also and haven't found any info on that.

I used them for about 15k or so before I sold them and bought Milestar Patagonias. With that being said, they did well in the AZ terrain. Handled sharp rocks ok. Although, I did puncture one on the outer side wall just below the raised edges. Even with that puncture, it never leaked. That's including trails where we abused them a bit. Haha

@@SelcouthHorizon Between the atturos and the patagonias, which one offers the best traction? I drive 2wd in California (rock, mud, dirt, occasional snow) so I'll take as much traction as I can get.

How were they on snowy pavement? Im in Montana considering getting these but skeptical.

Excellent review. You sound like the pros. I just bought a set of Milestar Patagonia M/T’s for the Jeep. Love the off road traction of these tires. Only had them for a week so not much else to say about them.

Todd Hoffmaster Appreciate the feedback! Joel does have a way with words lol. Let me know how you like those tires. I (Victor) have been thinking of getting a set of those milestars for the Jeep!

Thanks for sharing. We are all on a budget. So always looking for alternatives. Love the sides of those tyres. Don’t think we have them here in Aus though.

That’s a shame. It’s hard to find something that performs well at a decent price. Do you guys have any budget option brands in AUS?

@@SelcouthHorizon We do get budget options. Just not that brand. At least I have not heard of it here. In my case I got my self a set of 5 Mickey Thompson Degan 38 33" muddies for US$1000 fitted. Not sure how that compares to prices in the US. Quite happy with them.

I just found out. We do have that brand here in Aus. Just not where I live. The MT is around $210 per tyre installed.

Duncan Udawatta I think that pricing is similar to what we get here. Might be a little more expensive. Do you guys have the Milestar brand over there. If you do, I would recommend you check them out. Another budget option but from what we’ve seen, with better performance and a comfortable ride as well.

What size lift for 285s to fit? And whats your back spacing/ off set of your wheels?

    • @SelcouthHorizon

I have a 3 inch Toytec lift. The offset of the wheels are +30 I believe. It's been a while since I looked.

Just snagged a set of 4 for 180 each. This may be an older video, but I’m in need of new tires and saw these on sale. I’m coming down Yokohama mt tires. They seem pretty similar and tread pattern. I’m also getting the same exact size you have can’t wait to throw them on.
