I bought this car earlier this year as a graduation gift to myself and it’s my first car! I love it so much has everything i need in a car but my favorite is the ambient lights!
I have now owned GLB for 1 year and I can tell u pros and cons. Pros: Drives well on turns and straight line, a lot of tech, ambient lighting is awesome, voice command is responsive, lots of back seat room, lots of cargo room and storage, feels expensive in the cabin, fuel efficient for a SUV, Mercedes customer service is top notch at least in my area. I got night package with black color and it makes the car look far more gorgeous. Some people like GLBs design, some don’t…I loved it from get go. Picked it over Q5. Finally, It’s a Mercedes! Cons: dual clutch is jerky to a point I thought transmission was faulty, too much tech and gets glitched out often, start stop feature is awful and have to be turned off every time, built quality is questionable as I have taken mine at least 4 times in one year. Then again I did same with my new BMW 3-Series too. You can’t compare German luxury cars with Koreans or Japanese. You own one because u want to drive one and not necessarily for their reliability.
One year and a half with a fully equipped. GLB 250 4MATIC w AMG & Night packages. I am really happy with the car after owing bigger cars as a W220 S500, E300, C320... GLB was a fantastic decision and I recommend it.

For purchasing I'd go with the Hyundai but for leasing MB does offer great deals. They build in the maintenance service into the price so they get those out the door quickly to people who just want the badge.
Great solution... When things are going small SUV territories, design always feels incomplete, compromised materials, space and more. Only thing you get fully loaded is the price. My suggestion shop smart, if you buy luxury, buy at least go mid size...
A GV70 is actually bigger. And if you research actual components you'll find that where Hyundai went cheaper Mercedes went better. Look up the difference in transmissions, differential, etc. and you'll find Mercedes always has the better option of the two. Even the suspension type I bet is different. If you are buying for just a couple years and then sell won't matter, but if you are buying something to buy until the wheels fall off this will outlast a Hyundai. I tried to move to the GV70 when my GLB delivery got delayed for months... couldn't find anything comparable for the price. The only AWD GVs were used in my area and nearly as much as a new one. But the more I researched actual components under the hood the more I decided to just wait.
