Same here, my older brother and I would be awake in the dead of night in our bunk bed, doing this quiz over and over again to get our favourite Sinnoh starter. The times seemed so long back then, but it's really been 15+ years, I can't believe it. Hearing this theme again gives an indescribable feeling of nostalgia.
I remember my dad bought me this game when I was in elementary school, the day was over and I was really tired and wanted to sleep. But seeing this game be given to me that I had seen on commercials felt really rewarding and I stayed up all night regardless. I answered truthfully and ended up getting Shinx. Luxray is now my favorite pokemon and always will be. Were still all explorers as heart guys. ♡
I actually prefer this version if I'm being completely honest. They both have their own charm but this one feels so much nicer? I don't really know how to explain it.
