Nice job and these books seemed really fun! It’s refreshing to see you give up on pushing a goal that just isn’t that important to you in the grand scheme, so I love that. As an American, I have found that since about August I have been flagging a bit with my reading motivation because the cognitive load from the impending election is just TOO MUCH 😅 Trying to give myself some grace and I’m hoping that others are doing the same
@@themusicsnob yeah I can imagine! Even here I’m thinking about the US and I can’t imagine how hard it is to relax right now. All of the grace and take care of yourself!!!
I am so sorry for missing your last few videos as I was helping my mom with her cancer treatment but I’m sad to say that she has lost her battle ❤❤❤I am back and looking forward to seeing more of you and your wonderful videos prayers and blessings to you and your family love your Aussie family friend John xx
Fellow mood reader hear and yep, I can admit that I can definitely struggle to hit a count some times. Yet this year it’s been a bit easier than I expected to be.
I loved this video. I think it is fun to do challenges like this but not to hold onto to it when life is really busy. I’m really intrigued by Let’s Split Up (I love Scooby Doo, definitely nostalgic) and Villains Are Destined To Die. I am surprised by how much I have read this year. My next challenge is to start ticking off more of my books that are on my 30 before 30 (I am 30 in March). I have started 3 of them but yet to finish one! 😂🤦♀️ There’s still time though and I’m not putting pressure on myself to read all of them. It’s just 30 books I have had on my TBR for a while so I am planning to prioritise them. Hope you’re having a great day! 💙
i really enjoyed this video, it was so cozy and interesting :) like you, im behind on my reading goal (16/24 books in). I'm sure I'll manage to read a few more before the year ends, but to be honest, i really don't care that much 😅 it's nice to enjoy reading when i have the time, and setting a reading challenge just serves as a motivation to get back to reading, since i'm known to have periods when i dont read any books, or watch hardly any movies/tv shows, and instead spend my time scrolling though instagram, which is terrible. But knowing everything that happened IRL this year, and accounting for all my other hobbies/responsibilities, i think i've done pretty well 😊
I'm super on track for my reading goals this year which is nice! But I think I'm going to be a lot more chill about my reading goals next year. I'm not going to set a goal for how many books I want to read overall in the year for example, so I don't feel under pressure to read when I might want to do other hobbies!
I didn't make any reading goals this year, which turned out to be just fine since this year has been way too chaotic to keep up with them anyway. I'm just trying to enjoy whatever I can before the year ends. Really enjoyed your vlog as always
@@JeansThoughts Thank for the info, yes very cute ^^ and I wish you good luck with the drain problem and that everything gets fixed well. We are still constantly dealing with an electricity problem at our house. Stuff like that can be pretty draining...pun not intended lol.
Your office looks so so so beautiful! you did such an awesome job with putting it together
Thank you so much! I've been trying so hard to make it a really cosy and inspiring space.

I just realized I won't be meeting my goal either. 😂 I loved Once and Future Witches!

I never have reading goals because I'm a mood reader.
Wonderful reading vlog.

Loved this vlog, such a nice vibe! Side note - your nail colour is so so pretty!
Aw thank you! It's Sally Hanson from the school for good and evil collaboration ^_^
If you like Ice Planet Barbarians, you’ll probably like the Clecanian series by Victoria Aveline. It has the same vibe. It’s really good!

Honestly I think this is the way aha. How on earth are you supposed to know what's going to happen in a year?!
I'm so glad you liked The Great British Bump Off. I'm a bit more hit and miss with John Allison than you are, but I had so much fun with that one.
Off topic but where is that ghost plushie from in the background? It's so cute.
@@densilhmay8262 ahaha he is randomly from Sainsbury’s 😭 he’s so cute!

@@densilhmay8262 aaaah good luck with the electricity. Why is there always something with homes!?
