I'm waiting for my bookstore in Germany to store "Myths of China". I'm really excited about it! 😀 I'm also very happy that you enjoyed "The Eyes are the best part" because I also have the beautiful Evernight edition on my shelf and I really hope that I'll love it too. ❤ The only qualms I have about "Long Live Evil" is that the plot sounds 100% like the Villainess manhwa genre that has been extremely successful lately so I really hope that the author has her own twist to it and didn't just copy the concept.
Aaah so I'm right, it did remind me of something, manhwa. I don't mind if it's a bit derivative aha cause I do love the idea but hopefully she has her own flare. Also I hope you like The Eyes Are the Best Part!! I get particularly wanting to like a book once you've been sent the special edition - it's extra disappointing if you don't.
I also have A Magical Girl Retires, God and the Gumiho, Honey Witch, and Long Live Evil on my physical TBR! Can’t wait to hear what you think. I’m reading Honey Witch next.
Best books read so far this month The Alternatives by Caoilinn Hughes Amy & Isabelle by Elizabeth Strout My Friends by Hisham Matar Wild Houses by Colin Barrett The Coast Road by Alan Murrin
Love this series every time, Dr. Jean!😍 Wonder what the next episode will be like though. Can't wait to see! It would be great if you could check your inbox by the way. We've sent you one!🥰
Ahh, Death of a Bookseller was one of my favourite reads last year, its very sinister in a way that was almost too stressful to be enjoyable at parts, but I really rate it. I think Alice Slater calls it her 'horrible little book', which describes it perfectly. I haven't read Tell Me I'm Worthless, but your description made me think you'd like Manhunt by Gretchen Felker-Martin if you haven't read it already! It's a dystopian novel, giving kind of Mad Max/I Who Have Never Known Men reprodystopia vibes, but featuring trans characters dealing with bioessentialist/transphobic themes. It's very 'grimy', body horror, visceral writing, and I loved it, although it made me wince a few times! I also have the Honey Witch on my wishlist, and like the sound of The Truth According To Ember, so I'm interested to hear what you think of them!!
Wow! This video is top-notch. I love how detailed and engaging your content is. However, you don’t get views and subscribers as expected. Because your content isn't optimized properly. so, your content should be optimized to reach your milestone.
Hey Jean , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
i could listen to you talk about books you're excited about forever!😄🥰

Congratulations on getting a brick and mortar romance bookstore in Edinburgh.
Ooh I'm really looking forward to Honey Witch.
