  • We're discussing why you SHOULDN'T rinse your dishes before loading them into the dishwasher! 🍽️🚫💦 #KitchenHacks #EcoFriendly
    [MYTH DEBUNKED]
You might be surprised to learn that pre-rinsing your dishes is not only unnecessary, but it can also be counterproductive! Modern dishwashers are designed to tackle food residue, and pre-rinsing can lead to less efficient cleaning. 🌟 #MythBusted
    [REASONS NOT TO RINSE]
Save water: Pre-rinsing dishes can waste a significant amount of water. By skipping this step, you'll save gallons of water and contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle. 🌎💧
Save energy: Not pre-rinsing means you'll spend less time at the sink, reducing your hot water usage and lowering your energy bill. 💡 #EnergyEfficiency
Better cleaning: Dishwasher detergents work best when they have food particles to cling to. By pre-rinsing, you might actually be reducing the effectiveness of your dishwasher's cleaning cycle. 🌀🍽️ #ApplianceTips
    [HOW TO LOAD PROPERLY]
Now that you know the benefits of not pre-rinsing, here are some tips on how to load your dishwasher for the best results:
Scrape off large food particles: While you don't need to rinse, it's still important to remove large food particles before loading the dishwasher. 🍝
Load dishes strategically: Place larger items on the bottom rack and smaller ones on the top. Be sure not to overcrowd the dishwasher, as this can affect cleaning performance. 🚿
Use the right detergent: Choose a high-quality dishwasher detergent that's compatible with your dishwasher model for the best cleaning results. ✨ #DishwasherDetergent
Run a full load: Wait until your dishwasher is full before running it to save water and energy.
    [CONCLUSION]
So there you have it - the reasons why you should stop pre-rinsing your dishes and start loading them directly into the dishwasher. By making this simple change, you'll save time, water, and energy while getting cleaner dishes! 🍽️🌎💡

Being in the maintenance profession for most of my life, and constantly having to clean putrid dishwashers with foul odor, I would highly recommend rinsing dishes first. Up to you. It depends how much bacteria youre ok with living in your dishwasher.

Hi, thanks for the video. If the soap needs something to attach to, then why do most dishwashers begin with a 15 minute pre-rinse cycle before they start the main cycle with the detergent? This seems to defeat the point of not pre-rinsing.

To sense how dirty the dishes are. It's a prep cycle.

You're welcome. Mind you, I have dishes in the dishwasher are waiting to be ran. None of them are rinsed and have stuff dried on them and I am confident that my apartment dishwasher will get them clean.@@adiands850

What if it is not full, only has a few dishes, and you don't want to run it till it is full ???

Don't power it on until it's full. You can close a dishwasher without turning it on.

I just put them dirty - even the worst dish loads and they come out just fine.
