Arid portions of Africa will benefit greatly from SWRT Solutions subsurface membrane technology which is presently being tested in Kenya. This water and nutrient saving technology is delivering 5 to 7 times more crop on small holder farms.

This is truly amazing. Have you considered meat rabbits as part of your mix? A second question, where can the composting worms be bought in Uganda?

Truly inspiring, I have 2ha of land which I am willing to implement what I have just seen here. My biggest challenge, the capital to implement this.

Luke, Start with the least costly part of the operation and as you make money from that add on the other parts one by one. Problem solved.

Just plan on paper and begin with the least expensive part. Dont you see their chickencoops are just simply made with whatever material available? Start simpel. Dont run getting yourself into debts.

How do all the volumes get in balance ? i.e. are there approximately enough maggots, for instance, that the chickens eat them all? and the hydroponics produces the right amount of fodder for the animals. Does it scale on a unit?

Your land belongs to the government of Kenya what is the muzungu doing their teaching you something you ought to know as an adult this is what I blame on for our conditions today this really have destroyed the opportunity for so many Kenyans just to be selfish and lacking the knowledge of real growth
