Born and raised in Alabama in the 1950s Jim Crow period, so I knew why we kept a loaded shotgun in the closet and what it meant when the shotgun moved from the closet to the head of the bed. At age 10, my father taught us how to use a revolver for safety when we moved north leaving family behind. Please keep our history, education and training flowing. We must never forget our past, yet continue building on it to teach others and be that beauty called vital influencers. Thank you for sharing and be safe.

We train as a way to promote responsible gun ownership, firearm discipline, self defense and to reinforce proper safety. Frequent fellowship and training reinforces skills and helps promote mental well-being in a pressurized environment. For some putting rounds down range relieves stress like golf does for others. Thanks again Phil for creating a safe place to learn, train and grow. A major plus is the education on the Black Tradition of Arms. It helps establish a connection to the discipline of shooting and sense of community. 👍🏾

As a national organization, our local chapters keep abreast of the laws and policies in their cities and states. Members join NAAGA nationally and then find a chapter locally that they can use as a resource for information.

What afro americans really need, is an experienced, effective gun lobby, that represents their interests And an afro american owned, run gun lobby, that has influence with both levels of government And a gun lobby, that is able to influence both levels of government, to enact legislation, that protects afro american legal gun owners
Well, as Americans it's our right AND our duty to be armed, in order to protect ourselves and our fellow Americans from communism and other forms of tyranny. If we allow ourselves to be divided based on skin shade, we'll probably end up facing off at the wrong enemy when the s--- hit's the fan. That would be tragic. I appreciate you saying I was welcome to join, and that you don't hate anybody. Aside from usurpers of liberty I don't hate anyone either. Heck, as I see it, if you and I are both concerned with protecting liberty, which we seem to be... isn't that a commonality that dwarfs any other traits we may possess? Especially one as trivial as our DNA? Lovers of liberty won both the revolutionary and the civil war. Both wars had ending slavery as a stated objective, as slavery is completely inconsistent with any kind of liberty. Most people know that about the civil war, but to know it about the revolutionary war, just see Jefferson's original draft of the declaration of independence. It will leave no doubt. Liberty is liberty.
A Citizen accepts personal responsibility for the safety of the body politic of which they are a member; defending it, if need be, with their life! If you are not prepared to defend the lives and liberty of the innocent, you should not expect yours to be defended, much less hold office or have a vote. Every law-abiding citizen must be armed. YOU need to be armed.
