I definitely going to try CATA. I had some stuff come up in life originally back than, so I skipped the expac but now I'm excited to see what this expac experience holds.

Cata is largely underrated. Marred by its last raid tier. Everything leading up to Dragon Soul is great imo
i do not why people keep brining this argument RFD is bad because i no longer talk to people no one really talked before i prefer having to wait 10 min for a dung rather than waste an hour or 2 looking for people

as a hardcore vanilla andy, that hates tbc and wotlk, cata was actually one of my favorite expansions before I gave up on retail entirely

@@preslim84 one word. Kharazan. Nothing in vanilla comes close. As i said, all of the vanilla flaws were fixed in TBC. TBC is what Vanilla was intended to be. the only downside is no RDF and no Dual spec.

People don't play Cata in private servers, not TBC either, it's one of the least popular expansions that people play, people play Wrath and vanilla for a reason, they are better and have better open world, talent trees, end game boss (Arthas in Wrath), let's not lie to ourselves, Blizzard knows this and they will rush garbage Cata to Mist which is actually good and fun in pvo, almost nobody wants Cata, only the kids that follow Xaryu because they have been told it's good (lied to), everyone knows this, I know it, your granma knows lt, my small cousin knows this, it's not popular on private server scene because it's not a good expansion, talent trees are shorter than in vanilla and last boss is worse than Arthas in Wrath, I will wait till Mist which is actually fun in pvp.

Cata is objectively better, that's why it lost millions of players and it was the start of World of warcraft's downfall population wise, can't take you seriously.
Cata was a good xpac. I honestly believe MoP classic will be big and much more successful than something like wrath classic was.
Lets be real any cata haters are the same people who stand in fire forever and cant play the game if theres more than 2 buttons in the rotation.

Will definitely play cata. Think its a good choice by blizz to merge servers so the population will be more stable, hope this wont lead to the same insane que times we had before thou.
People haven't talked in dungeons since TBCC, RDF changed nothing for me at least. I always try to say hi at least
Im going to play it but im a little bit bummed that they are accelerating it by so much.
3 months of Firelands... Thats 12 lockouts. Going from 0 bosses cleared across all difficulties to killing Heroic Rag (my goal with my guild) in 12 lockouts seems harsh.
Also, on a side note, you said that we wont be getting LFR for almost a year, which is a little untrue since Blizz said were getting Dragonsoul in January, so in 9 months from now.

I'm going to play cata, just started in wotlk again mainly to get son chars to 80 and get ready. I liked cata, tmog, class balance and general qol back then - and I'm going to like it now! 👌

Sorry to say it as someone who played since wotlk and revisited for the Expansion i missed. So i played every expansion now and tbh classic to wrath are most likely the most boring expansions. im so bored of having 30 buttons and using 3 cause everything else is not worth for max dps. And not even to miss raid mechanics cause there are nearly any cata doing some favor stuff bad but improves the game in so many ways harder content harder rotations so no wonder classic players don t like the expansion. More then 2 button rotation is too hard.
Correct sir. Main reason why Cata is the scapegoat for classic players. Its too hard for them. The expansion itself was great, in fact, most retail expansions were great except WoD and Shadowlands.

Firelands was my favorite raid back in the day, im kinda hyped but idk about putting time into classic anymore at this point
the first vote was false because many pro classic TLK and other classic cry and was not happy and was everywere even they allready don't play it. And many people say to they will not playing TBC and TLK but they finish by playing it. We have to more casual people come back. So the difference will be a little player in less but not that much
There’s always a lot of people shit talking a new expansion at the start, but like you say they end up coming back when the game is being released

I loved cata as a big time raider, now sadly I was forced into playing my alt DK tank for raid spot which did kinda suck I’ll agree but none the less I still enjoyed it and this time around I’ll be playing my true main Spec as a healer HPal
Holy paradin gets so many changes and will for sure be fun to play in cata :)

Cataclysm has quite dynamic gameplay, and modern changes will be added to the classic cataclysm and this will make the game even more fresh and relevant. The fact that mammoths from the old world do not like the cataclysm and some changes does not bother anyone. Lfg is good, but lfr is bad, IMHO.

cata is THE casuals expac. youll love it bro. leveling alone is worth it
The leveling is so fun and the good thing is that you can enjoy the raids casually as long as you just do them on normal mode
Will they split the lower lvl pvo brackets again like last time? (i.e. 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29 etc)

nice videos. As interesting as Cata is, i won't be playing it. I think the classic blizz will screw something up like they did with the previous expansions. I said they screwed up big time when they left out RDF from launch of WOTLK. They proved they have no clue what they are doing and are so out of touch with the players. They have a few players they take feedback from and they get bad advice. They proved to me that they will continue to make bad decisions when they removed GDKP from the SOD servers. They just don't get it. Options like GDKP and RDF are optional. But blizz will pick a side for no reason. When half the people are complaining, the other half are satisfied so they don't complain. That means any OPTIONAL issue should be left alone or made available. so those that don't want to do it, can just NOT do it. Those that do want to, then have that option. Blizz doesn't understand this. Anyway, u asked us to leave a comment if we are or are not playing cata, so this is my comment. lol
Cata isn't a bad expansion. But I dont like that they are calling it classic.

5:34 subscriptions peaked in Cataclys (the downfal of wow), not Wrath, just saying.
They peaked because it was a new expansion and people were following the WotLK bandwagon. The number of subscriptions always go up at the start of an expansion.

My answer is that Cataclysm expansion started the downfall of true World of Warcraft game and distance it far far away from its true nature! So my opinion is definitely no and I’m feeling so bad and regret that wotlk realms won’t be available.. because I just want to stay and play there with my friends who enjoy the gameplay and arenas at wotlk expansion!

more likely those who wanted LFR gone will not even touch cata.
