as a GM and raid lead, being able to do a 10m that's much more tight-knit and easy to organize - where it's also much easier to communicate and keep a roster of talented, committed players - and not having to worry about the nightmare that is 25m guild managing is one of the most enjoyable things about cata so far. I get enjoying 25m raiding more, so I'm glad the option's there for those who prefer it. But having the option to main 10m and get the same loot (an atmosphere which a lot of people enjoy more) is enormous for me
As I grew up and now adulting, it is very difficult to get 25 solid players to show up every time for raiding. I love 25m raids don’t get me wrong but I don’t like pugging players every week or having to call it because a few ppl want to leave early
I just wish they would have implemented that in vanilla and TBC and wrath still to some extent. having to wait til cata for that killed it somewhat for me
The whole things a shit show for anyone not playing 4-5 hours minimum each day in the week and sinking every single hour into the game come Friday to Sunday evening, the community is a joke.
At the time, this switch destroyed a ton of guilds, though, mine included. I believe the destruction of most of the larger raiding guilds is the main reason so many players left during Cataclysm.
I will say as someone who has played wow for a long time, the casual element that exists with Cata classic is great for me now that I’m older with a family and my time is more limited
@@silentslayergaming8469cata is like an in between for retail and vanilla - wotlk. It’s got a lot more quality of life changes and class balancing than those first three, but it’s still not to the degree of retail

Level on your own, forget guilds, and delete the game once max.

Was a bit bored as a geared healer in retail and wanted to kill time before the war within. Levelled a holy paladin to 85 through dungeon levelling. Ended up 330 ilvl by the time i levelled in dungeon blues. then started heroic dungeons and then yeah justice and valor vendors. Pretty enjoyable experience
I started playing very late WOTLK, so my real WOW experience was started in Cata. I leveled a Warrior in Classic to 60, and I think it was by far the best WOW experience I ever had. But, I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to give Cata a nice, nostalgic run. It was, after all, my first adventure into ACTUALL MMORPG games.
Nothing beats the classic level 1-60 experience, retail is all about end game now and the game has changed so much, you can hardly call it the same game
Sorry but i dissagree i hate 25m raiding it feels suffocating to me i love 10m it feels like a baseball team once everyone knows there jobs on each fight communcation is so much easier
I’ll say my guild was initially very happy with the new lockout system. We were frustrated with the stress/drama that comes with running a 25 man prog team and switched over to just running two 10 man teams. We’ve been happy with that but I do miss being able to do both 10 and 25.
4 weeks in, people are already raid logging and the zones are emptying quickly. I'm a lot more further then I got back in 4.0 back when cata first came out though
Yes this is the case for nearly every expansion including Vanilla which literally forced you to raid log because of world buffs. I don't really understand the point you're trying to make
Cata is like a classic retail hybrid. Raids have modern mechanics. My arms warrior rotation still has a classic feel even though it's a bit more complicated.
Cata is the death of classic game design and the born of modern game design aka retail-like (well honestly it was slowly happening since tbc, but the destruction of old world zones marks it as the most visually changing). The game is not bad and there are enjoyable features in it. Yet the principles that make vanilla and classical mmo's do not apply to it anymore.
25man still feels like the easier to progress raid, because mistakes are mitigated 250% compared to 10 man. On the other hand having 10 consistent and skilled players makes up for even having to mitigate errors in the first place. I do enjoy having more people in a raid group as well, but that part is just personal preference. Ultimately I see no downside to letting 10man raids drop the same loot, but I think the option of a lower gear ilvl version of the raid (like 10 man in wotlk) has benefits too and honestly as much as people dislike it, I think that's where LFR comes in. Imo they should just gives us LFR now.
10m Ulduar is the reason so many people quit in Wotlk. Being forced to do both 10m and 25m Ulduar for bis gear. Seeing someone type the words they should just give us LFR now makes me physically ill please stop playing the game
@420OngBak Nobody is forcing you to do anything and by having the ilvl reduced it makes it much less of a requirement. If you feel like you're ever forced to do something in a game, you should quit for your own mental health.
I had more fun with my core 10man in WotLK where we had more chill banter and better progress over the 25man raids that relied upon us to carry them and we had to suffer fools dragged along into the larger guild raid (I left that guild for a fancy fill-out-an-application tryhard guild as ICC was looming after Ulduar was done and dusted, and then I quit before Cata and thankfully never resubscribed ever again)
Cataclysm was the expansion that took WoW to the next phase, not only as it removed vanilla completely from the game but it changed the game. BC and Wrath was addons to vanilla while Cata was a step to a new game.
@@TFAric I started at wrath and now after playing classic I can confidently say wrath is retail. DK ruin game and they went full retail since wrath. Classic and TBC was the best and I used to think wrath was the best just cuz that’s where I started. Was the best for that time. Wrath classic sucked.
I kinda like that its not 10 and 25m. Im already at the point where my main only have one day raiding, and my alt gets a second day. In wrath i had 3 alts by icc. Doing 6 raids a week for a long time was to much.
@@chainclaw07 Well the reason why the context clues point towards "having fun" is because the general sentiment from the community is that Cata was a bad expansion. That's why it would be "surprising"
The only thing I dislike about Cata was how zones were transformed, because they're still stuck in Cata even on Retail. Apart from that I think it's just better than wotlk in all other aspects. What is interesting about classic players is that they usually are huge fans about Arthas and don't know Deathwing was in story even before him. That's an interesting observation which corelates with being a fan of wotlk.
I love how you say vanilla players have a "classic Andy mindset" as an insult, as if you're not a classic Andy who's been making (and is still making) classic content for multiple years straight.
cataclysm was great, the bad part was the the content drought were becoming longer and longer but it was the best expansion for PVP, they made so many classes viable, specially assassin rogue
If you have been apart of any 25 man raids especially when it comes to heroics the ammount of loot item drops is insane. theres no reason to have 10s be on a sep lockout like it used to be when it gives the same gear.
wow nub here that started playing during shadowlands and never got any further than beating the main bfa campaign- i hate classic. it's slow, boring, and i don't have the time nor the patience to level. however, cata classic hooked me more than any other version of wow did despite having started with retail. i loved it to bits. 10/10
I played Vanilla to MoP and for PvP, Cataclysm is the absolute best expansion, it has the most dynamic chess match style of any of these expansions but is not as balanced as Wotlk, which is why I prefer Wotlk PvP just because the classes I like in Wotlk are buffed but are nerfed in Cata. End game if rogues get legendary daggers they are the ultimate duel/2's class no alternatives, I hate this, I don't understand why Blizzard continues to allow rogues to just completely dominate all things PvP for every single expansion. And i'm not just ranting I got to 2972 in 2's as an Elemental Shaman with a Retribution Paladin partner and the ONLY team we couldn't beat was MM/Sub, it was just stupid and not even fair, there wasn't a single counter I could play, with 165k health from the rogue alone just spamming 37k ambushes, I miss the DR passive we used to have while stunned.
If people had to travel to the dungeons the first time they did them you'd see more people while leveling as long as people are leveling, also this stops people from not knowing where the dungeons or associated graveyards are
Cata gets a bad rep, mainly for changing a few parts of the overworld and Dragon Soul being a bit lackluster for a final raid.... but overall I think it did alot of good things. For most part, new additions and changes to classes were good, talent revamp and mroe baseline abilities. As a Shaman I liked alot of the new additions for the class and Enhancement spec... all specs really. The starter leveling experience was better and mroe streamlined too, with powerful class spec defining abilities at lvl 10 and just more fun stuff like procs in your rotation. And you had heroic options for dungeons/raids which gave some actual proper challenge in difficulty for people who can handle it. Plus stuff like currencies, honor/valor/justice/conquest ect to make gearing easier..... reforge and txmog and all that. I think alot of people are realizing that Cata is better then they thought.
The problem I am Having is being a returning player.. there are currently 7 different versions of Wow up right now and have no clue where to jump in.. I am also a social gamer so don't really know what servers are good for connecting with people to do content with.. All in all great video
The average age of a wow player in general is 25-35, dungeon finder and wow finder was introduced to better suit casual players who make up a huge majority of the players.
Cataclysm leveling was good, even had some call backs from the pre - cata version quests or even continued the story of them. But overall the expansion was overly mid in my opinion. Cataclysm is definitely better than Shadowlands. But you’ll never please Classic Andy’s, they just want to live in the memories of their childhood. If anything, they are closer to retro gamers for MMO’s. But less than a gamer, since they probably only play this one game.
What server were you playing? I noticed that the first server Im using only has a few players. When I selected a high density server Im seeing other people do some quest. IMHO, its always good if you have options and not handicapped. If you want leveling through quest go ahead, if you want through dungeon then fine. Thats what I like, not forcing one to pick only one. I do both for leveling.
Cata might not be looked back on fondly by a whole lot of people, but I was recently bitten by the MMO bug again and decided to pick WoW back up after years off. I played Shadowlands for a month or two and kinda lost interest in the story plus I thought that the endgame zone's gimmick was sorta stupid, but last time I played with any sort of regularity was Cata through WoD. I hope that I get a chance to experience WoW's peak era at some point, but frankly, I'm still having fun in Cata. I enjoy the world freshly scarred by Deathwing, I strangely enjoy Vashj'r in spite of my usual aversion to water sections in games, The heroics I'm grinding for my justice and valor points are fun and give a nice challenge for a group of better geared players. I'm hoping once I'm geared up and properly brimped out with all the heroic gear and rep gear I need that I can get into some raiding with the guild I'm in!
The leveling is so incredibly easy and boring, it destroys the whole experience for me. I dislike that everything my level dies in three globals and I dislike even more that I outlevel not only the zone I'm in halfway through, but also the next zone. The balancing and exp curve is abysmal. There are heirlooms, RFD and level boosts for people that just wanna rush through. Make the early game enjoyably ffs.
My husband's favorite part of playing is the danger in open world. We usually play together and there was no way to make the leveling content hard for a pair. he also hates dungeon finder because he likes to go slowly, carefully through a dungeon and modern players wont do that.
I remember waltzing into dragon soul as main tank on my dk and we wiped once on spine and one shot everything else. Quit right there and didn't come back until mop. Zero satisfaction compared to wrath.
Miss me with this "Road to Retail" garbage; "Cata Classic" is an oxymoron, a step in the wrong direction, making the same mistake of stepping onto the same slippery slope that led the game to BFA and Shadowlands before...
51k players across all realms 2024-11-12 EU most popular horde server had 39k horde this summer, and are now down to 4k people, so 90% have left the main EU PvP horde server in the past 6 months. And next in line will be MoP which is the worst expansion imo
Should I play it if I don't care about raiding (don't enjoy it), or is that a waste of time? I already did the leveling zones and only played and enjoyed vanilla because the zones and quests were different.
My biggest complaint with Blizzard is the fact that they locked all my original toons (characters) and several of my guilds into "Retail". Characters(dozens) that I had leveled up for years starting in vanilla all the way up to Legion. In my opinion this is a HUGE injustice and rip off on Blizzard's part. When that happened I quit playing for years and decided to come back and start over with Wotlk classic. All that time and $$$ invested in my original toons is lost to retail. Thousands of hours and thousands of dollars. SHAME ON YOU BLIZZARD. It really leaves me feeling bitter every time I think about it.
Your normal mode weapon made me laugh. I was casual for Warlords and I had a normal dungeon weapon the whole expansion right up until pre-patch for Legion and I got it in LFR. What an insult!
Goddamn, I was hoping I would be able to level my warrior to 80 before they ruined the world again. I’ve just been so out of the loop it completely slipped me by that they had dropped this
Broh, in Retail people can also group to do Raids and stuf togheter, u dont need to be solo spaming dg finder, this is what u do becouse want to do it, u dont need a game obeing u to do stay in the same realm and know people becouse u are unsocial and uncaplebe to made a group in a videogame. Have tons og guilds and social groups on Retail doing stuf toghether open your mind. Dont blame the game becouse u want to other players being avaiable to u becouse u are enable to even find a good guild.
We do not want 25m raiding. The 10m Raiding being viable is the best thing ever, and it is a damn shame that this is the only expansion that ever did it.
I main a healer and have been playing since vanilla and I gotta say this is the WORST version of the game by far for people not even wanting to follow basic dungeon rules. Tanks never wait for mana, dps pulling additional packs, no one kicks/CCs problematic mobs, DPS constantly stand in AOE , etc. Trying to keep up the pace pre 350 item level actually feels worse than pushing mythic keys in retail. I've been kicked from normals on my shadow priest having too low of dps (new char in greens/blues) and then you get slapped with a debuff. I've seen people get kicked for getting lost because they didn't understand the teleporters and getting D/C is an immediate vote to kick. The amount of abuse of the kick function vs legit kicking of trolls/afk is about 100 to 1 so far, an absolutely toxic mechanic that feeds into hardcore mentality. PvP on the other hand has been fantastic and every spec actually feels good to play in BGs and arena, so I'm going to stick to doing mostly that for this expansion.
cata is just ok. It's not as good as Vanilla TBC or WOTLK. But it's still a good game. Everyone has their own preference and cataclysm definitely has enjoyers. Only thing is that dragonflight is at the end of expansion so people don't have much to do. I think cataclysm will lose most of it's population when the war within comes out. So it's not only the population being significantly lower than the WOTLK Classic right now, it's about the population taking a nosedive when The War Within launches. In my eyes Cataclysm no longer provides the "classic vibe" and just became a worse version of retail wow.
cata was a good expansion, i remember getting into forum fights over this. A lot of people are just dumb and prefer to follow the current instead of actually testing the waters themselves, it sucks, but it is what it is
Classic Andy’s stay winning. The difficulty of a raid should be the organization of 40 people before hand. 90% of the effort should be before the raid even starts. 10% should be executing the plan and using the consumes you have farmed the week before.
You are delusional. A video game where the main challenge and difficulty being logistics is called a 4x strategy game, not an MMO. Your take is miserably terrible and you should crawl back into your private server hole where you came from
Definitely not as bad as all the crap you churn out on this channel. But what do we expect from a known gold buyer/seller. I am glad that browser add-ons exist that prevent sh*tty channels like this from getting clicks/views/ad-revenue & positive engagement.
I started playing in 2005. I played 40 hours a week for so long. When Cataclysm came out I slowed down because I wasn’t having any fun. I just started playing Cataclysm Classic and I’m having a lot of fun. One big reason is when I level I actually see other people playing. Not like back in the day but when I level in retail I never really see anyone. MMOs you should see people when you are running around questing. It makes it so much more fun and engaging when people are running around. Running into people you don’t know grouping up to finish quests or whatever. Retail is so bloated I hate it. I just leveled a shaman in retail. There’s so many spells it’s annoying. I mean I still had some fun. But nothing like the first few expansions.
Some complaints from when OG cata released. The world changed, all the zones changed and the way you experienced them felt more linear and less adventurous. People complained about spell pruning - which I don't get, it was just a clean up of redundant or insignificant abilities. Sometimes a homogenization of a few. I.E. Combining frost ward and fire ward into one spell. or Removing amplify and dampen magic. Community seemed to initially dislike that spell ranks were removed. Community complained that due to the new talent system it felt less creative (as if anyone was actually creative and didn't play the best spec according to community driven meta). I think it was just a scary moment for people because a lot of change happened very fast. But, I think the biggest underlying thing that happened that not a lot of people wanted to admit was, the game got more difficult. . . Raids required a lot more skill and we ended up seeing some nightmarish boss fights like Spine. I know that Cata was one of the best xpacs for PvP players, truly birthing some legends that to this day are still regarded as the best PvPers. and I know that anyone who enjoyed a challenged really liked the difficulty in raids and hardmodes in cata. IMHO there was just a large amount of "classic andy" type players that probably became less interested realizing that it became too hard to keep up with the player/community designed meta.
I tried quite a few characters and got a few to 85. I just dont enjoy the rotations. The best i could find was survival hunter. Then, having to dps as a healer annoyed me because i just wanted to heal when playing one.
Its not that cata is bad it was just annoying to players who at the point cata was released had spent years playing wow and not having your hand held the whole time who had to work in groups to clear content only for blizz to kill social interaction in an mmorpg woth lfr to alot of us it was the beginning of the end of what was one of the most popular mmos for several years in a row every mmo wanted to be the wow killer and none came close again sorta saw it as a beginning of the end because they turn aroun next expansion and gave us garrisons making it even less mmo and more just rpg cuase why leave the garrison when you can level up to max in it sot in int and pug raids where nobody talks and then go back to your garrison and do the garrison tasks
As a long time Turtle WoW player I've always been a huge fan of how they tune the Dungeon Finder. It works just as expected with the role choosing and such, but it doesnt teleport you to dungeon. It just makes the party for you but then you still gotta communicate, get together and go there yourself. The summoning stones don't really do anything, just like in vanilla
According to an OG mate he said its a way more polished version of the original release which had alot of bugs, imbalanced bosses and minor issues which is why ppl bitched about cata originally. If 500k people would rather play this 20 yo mmo than a recent one then one will not find much to complain about that's for sure.
Are people not allowed to prefer wrath? Personally I love the design and questing of the old azeroth world. Cata just feels like retail in some ways, like I might as well just play retail if we're going to streamline everything and make it all "easy." again.
@silentslayergaming8469 There is nothing wrong with people loving wrath. The problem comes from people crying day in and out about how the game is ruined because it isn't wrath anymore. They take a stance that just because it isn't Wrath and the way they like the game, must mean that it's a bad game.
That buff for the open world after completing a dungeon is actually a great idea! I love me some cata and love me some wpvp which is why I'm on grobbulus and that would make it even better. I also agree that the raid locking is garbage.
Cata classic is just the downfall of wow again with more technical issues. However blizzdrones are such copium addicts they will keep calling it classic despite it turning into retail 😂
finally someone with common sense lol. It won't end with cata, they'll keep going into mists of pandaria and so on. Cata already defeats the point of classic, because we've come full circle back to retail azeroth lol.
3 months from now when everyone quits cata classic they will be advertising mop mark my words edit I looked it up blizzard/Activision have stated that mop remix or classic is coming our in 2025 so expect wod classic 2026 and legion classic I'm 2027 and bfa classic in 2028 😂
Dont tell ASmongold this as he will rage quit, he thinks Cata is really hard. The truth is many earlier elements damaged wow including LFG killing social and making lvling easy street to encourage people to make Alts which then made knowing a reliable tank or healer less important because you just used alt. Cata was crap because it wrecked the origonal zones that people loved and it was that first step in over complicating the game that got trippled by the time you hit Legion. Anyone who missed an expansion by legion would be seriously seriously confused coming back.
who cares what that dirty troglodyte thinks? He is a good player, but he is far from being in the best tier and he relies on others to boost and carry him-
back on the day when cata came out i was happy with all the changes. but now i realize when you have things like dungeon finder and easy quests you don't need a crew / group / friends on the game any more. wow is an mmo and mmos are social game at the core. when you encourage solo play for majority of the game you eliminate that social aspect and the mmo "dies" and feels like it is something else. the end game heroics get more difficult so it also further divides the players who are trying to play together leading to more toxic encounters with the people you do interact with. cata is not the worst but it's also not that good just something to do for now.
wow token, you can buy gold online and then pay for boosts with the gold. It dilutes from the achievement of clearing raids and getting loot . Ow, also GDKP with gold bought online.
I have 5 toons leveled up with full bloodthirsty gear, balance druid, bm hunter, arcane mage, shadow priest and ele shaman. They all feel awful to play I think it's mostly the low crit, 19% is my highest toon. Just doing the Tol Barad dailys is a near death experience on all but my hunter, the mobs hit way to hard for non elites and the lack of crit makes them too hard to kill not to mention the self healing classes heals are stupid weak. (moonkin armor is nerfed to hell as well as starfall) I went into cata with a positive attitude and I can't keep it up anymore, so far cata sucks arse.
Try playing a healer without dedicated teammates, it's even worse because none of the healing classes have any mobility, most classes are all instant cast and you spend half the game spell locked or CC'd.
Cataclysm is the best WoW, because it's all about skill, you can beat someone max level when you are 10 lvl less than him, only if you have skill. Equipment doesn't matter if you have skill, it's not like newer WoW it's all about equipment. I played Rogue on Cataclysm for years, I was the first Rogue on the server in PvP. Those were the days.... Now I'm thinking of going back.
Hi, you could not put more bs into all that you said even if you wanted to do it on purpose, i do not understand how you manage it so well. Good job sir LMAO

Sorry but i dissagree i hate 25m raiding it feels suffocating to me i love 10m it feels like a baseball team once everyone knows there jobs on each fight communcation is so much easier
No need to say you're sorry
Their*
I had to say it
I’ll say my guild was initially very happy with the new lockout system. We were frustrated with the stress/drama that comes with running a 25 man prog team and switched over to just running two 10 man teams. We’ve been happy with that but I do miss being able to do both 10 and 25.
I lvled several classes to 85: hunter, dk, shaman, warrior, pala.
I was hoping to check which one is fun. And appreciate they are all fun
I’ve been loving Cata Classic. I adored this expac and it hasn’t disappointed.
4 weeks in, people are already raid logging and the zones are emptying quickly. I'm a lot more further then I got back in 4.0 back when cata first came out though
Yeah low lvl zones have like 3 people in pagle but the dungeon finder is pretty fast
Yes this is the case for nearly every expansion including Vanilla which literally forced you to raid log because of world buffs. I don't really understand the point you're trying to make
Thats what happend to pretty much every expansion 😂
It’s a great combination of classic and retail; which definitely has me hooked. Didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I am.
Cata is like a classic retail hybrid. Raids have modern mechanics. My arms warrior rotation still has a classic feel even though it's a bit more complicated.
Loads of people will just regurgitate whatever their favourite streamer says without even giving it a chance
First. And cata is still goated for me. I love it to no end :)
fr never understood the dislike
Yeah cata is my #1 expansion man! I've been waiting all of classic for this!
BC and Wrath was addons to vanilla while Cata was a step to a new game.
what was wrath?
@@JAH1736 Wrath of the Lich King, when WoW was at it's peak.
Everyone in my guild keeps saying they are surprised how much they're having raiding in cata.
@@chainclaw07 Context clues. Clearly they meant they're having fun.
I like it. we're 9/13H hopefully 10 or 11/13H after tomorrow night. Looking forward to the other phases and Mists of Pandaria.
I love how you say vanilla players have a "classic Andy mindset" as an insult, as if you're not a classic Andy who's been making (and is still making) classic content for multiple years straight.
So he includes himself ya dopey fool.
What makes you think it's an insult 😂 You're taking the video too seriously.
Who hurt you
@@MetaGoblin I just thought it was funny. I'm not offended by it lol
I know right? 😂 the irony lol
I’m loving cataclysm to be honest. Such a nostalgia hit
cataclysm was great, the bad part was the the content drought were becoming longer and longer
but it was the best expansion for PVP, they made so many classes viable, specially assassin rogue
TBC & Wrath were much better in my opinion. I stopped playing again when Cata dropped very disappointed we didn't get TBC / Wrath Servers.
STILL the best WOW soundtrack of all the series.
Didn't I see this exact video like 6 months ago?
I do both for leveling.
hard disagree on the raid lockouts, i really like not having"" to do 10 and 25 man on multiple chars week in week out
Cata might not be looked back on fondly by a whole lot of people, but I was recently bitten by the MMO bug again and decided to pick WoW back up after years off.
There is literally no reason to go slow in dungeons when they’re piss easy
Retail dungeon are really easy
Cata isn't slow paced not even slightly.
@@therider990 good thing everyone plays exactly like you do
We'll cata dungeons are easy, no point in doing it slow, especially when you have to do it so so so many times until ur ready for raid
You are literally a classic Andy
playin cata and havin a blast. vanilla andies were lying
51k players across all realms 2024-11-12
EU most popular horde server had 39k horde this summer, and are now down to 4k people, so 90% have left the main EU PvP horde server in the past 6 months.
We get it... you like retail wow...
Just reading this made me dumberer
25 man raid gives more loot. And herioc 25 man gives even more loot.
5 ans 6 pieces respectively. On top of that tier bosses give 3 pieces of tier.
This video is not exactly informative it's just u droning on about what the cata features are
ikr
I was looking into this today and would like to know what server I should go on. (Don't care for PvP)
cata is just ok.
Your take is miserably terrible and you should crawl back into your private server hole where you came from
No way to play arena solo shuffle or skirmish mode so not for me thanks.
I miss my tree, for the second time now lol.
Amazing feature having to run to the dung instead of playing straight from the start. What a gameplay
cataclysm is not wow classic. Its wow 2.
According to an OG mate he said its a way more polished version of the original release which had alot of bugs, imbalanced bosses and minor issues which is why ppl bitched about cata originally.
If 500k people would rather play this 20 yo mmo than a recent one then one will not find much to complain about that's for sure.
Can kinda track player numbers by the number of layers servers have and ~1/2 the players quit so far
People hate on Cata because they are too upset that their circle jerk around WotLK is over and they can't bare to think of anything else.
Cata hype 👍
I’m planning on checking cata out soon, but want play classic…..mmo market stale, I watched this while playing osrs😅
Warmane Wotlk servers are popping with new playes since classic cata. Loradeton server is as classic wrath as you could get
Looks like you should have farmed zinny in the prepatch
what a racket these people have running...
releasing old material as if it's something new.
what...a...racket.
Should of done pvp that where the best part is for catacyslm
Cata classic is just the downfall of wow again with more technical issues. However blizzdrones are such copium addicts they will keep calling it classic despite it turning into retail 😂
finally someone with common sense lol. It won't end with cata, they'll keep going into mists of pandaria and so on. Cata already defeats the point of classic, because we've come full circle back to retail azeroth lol.
How do you get these wide cinematic shots for wow I been trying to figure it out for almost a year now
Machinima tools on my own private server. You need a 32bit client though.
It's really good. You prob won't care for it cuz you can't farm it for content.
He is a good player, but he is far from being in the best tier and he relies on others to boost and carry him-
It’ll be like every other classic expansion. I play it for a few months and then quit and unsub until the next expansion.
back on the day when cata came out i was happy with all the changes. but now i realize when you have things like dungeon finder and easy quests you don't need a crew / group / friends on the game any more.
wow is an mmo and mmos are social game at the core. when you encourage solo play for majority of the game you eliminate that social aspect and the mmo "dies" and feels like it is something else.
the end game heroics get more difficult so it also further divides the players who are trying to play together leading to more toxic encounters with the people you do interact with.
cata is not the worst but it's also not that good just something to do for now.
I can't STAND how the 10/25 sharing lockout has made me have to choose which group I can play with :(
How about leveling an alt? It's very fast and you get to enjoy another class :)
Cataclysm itself, up til the end of firelands was insanely good. Classic cata is pay to win...
pay to win how?
wow token, you can buy gold online and then pay for boosts with the gold. It dilutes from the achievement of clearing raids and getting loot . Ow, also GDKP with gold bought online.
I really want to play tbc again.... I think wow peaked in tbc, for me been a decline since.
I always thought I was a vanilla guy but TBC was a blast. I'd like to go through that again.
@@adventurekobold Right? TBC fresh servers def in the future. I never realized how much more i enjoyed classic compared to cata and beyond.
They should definitely keep a few servers of the original 3 games, at least.
Wow is in such a bad state right now its just a joke
I have 5 toons leveled up with full bloodthirsty gear, balance druid, bm hunter, arcane mage, shadow priest and ele shaman.
They all feel awful to play I think it's mostly the low crit, 19% is my highest toon.
Just doing the Tol Barad dailys is a near death experience on all but my hunter, the mobs hit way to hard for non elites and the lack of crit makes them too hard to kill not to mention the self healing classes heals are stupid weak. (moonkin armor is nerfed to hell as well as starfall)
I went into cata with a positive attitude and I can't keep it up anymore, so far cata sucks arse.
Try playing a healer without dedicated teammates, it's even worse because none of the healing classes have any mobility, most classes are all instant cast and you spend half the game spell locked or CC'd.
Decent video, GG
Cata is great 👍🏿 love it
Cataclysm is the best WoW, because it's all about skill, you can beat someone max level when you are 10 lvl less than him, only if you have skill. Equipment doesn't matter if you have skill, it's not like newer WoW it's all about equipment. I played Rogue on Cataclysm for years, I was the first Rogue on the server in PvP. Those were the days.... Now I'm thinking of going back.
That's absolutely not true at all
Hi, you could not put more bs into all that you said even if you wanted to do it on purpose, i do not understand how you manage it so well. Good job sir LMAO
the addon for your action bars and profiles plz????
It's not as bad as everyone says. It's a lot worse.
Levelled to max. Did all the heroics and pre-bis. Cleared all the raids on release night. Havent felt the urge to log back on since.
I dont know if its the expansions fault or if ive just finally reached the end of how invested I can feel.
you did all the raids on heroic on release night?
@@Oratory1989 just normal mode raids. No interest in doing the heroic versions at all. Even if I did I'm not willing to pay a monthly sub to raidlog. Just burn out I think.
@@adventurekoboldYou're not alone. I felt almost exactly like this during original cata. It's where the game began to die. Just doesn't feel rewarding.
'Cataclysm Classic isn't classic anymore' I agree 100%
Classic in General is a shit show and has been from the very beginning when everyone for some reason sucked the fun out of the game and acted as though the game is a race and if you are not on more than 5 hours each and every single day FORGET ITTTT!
Yes cata was fine but the problem is if you wanted to do old stuff that's it's no longer possible. Also we all know where this is leading to in the future
Wonderfully casual, aesthetically ugly. Legit cannot stand the aesthetic, esp. relative to the beautiful simplicity of the prior xpacs.
Cata is way better than TBC. It's actually somewhat fun to play.
