I know a great way to make Wii U sales sky rocket: Ninty should start a separate Pokemon franchise on the Wii U. And i mean a proper, full fledged RPG. They don't have to use Gamefreak, they can continue the handheld series, maybe just oversee this project. Ponus points if they reinvent the combat system in to a real time one like FF XV, and make it 3rd person open world like Zelda, without random encounters and all. No offense, i like the traditional battle system, but i am really not the one for turn based fighting on the big screen, and it's kinda getting old at this point.

That wouldn't necessarily make the sales "sky rocket". Just because you think it's a good idea, doesn't mean that everyone does. Not everyone plays Pokemon. People that do get handheld console.

The best RPGs didn't sell well. You got Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, etc.

If you like the wonderful 101, pikmin plays a bit similar. I think you should try one of these games if you didn't yet. I'll recommend pikmin 2 (the game cube version).
Justplay1611 - Démon aprentis have you gotten to the end-bossfight? Man i have 100 red pikimin and 50 blue ones 67 rock pikimin and 30 electric pikimin. I still cant win

If you're like me, you don't like the series only because it's a heck ton of fun but also because of the memories it left you while you were experiencing it…
For example: I will never forget the pain that was defeating king bulbax! I will never forget the insane challenge that was the hole of heroes! I will never forget how scared I was while attempting to complete the submerged castle! I will never forget how dedicated I was to the piklopedia (seriously this thing is awesome! It's so bad it didn't return in Pikmin 3)! And I will never forget how amazing I felt watching the final cutscene after getting all the treasures...

mega sean It's only okay by yourself but the unique games make an amazing multiplayer experience. Maybe the best use of the gamepad.

Isn't Super Mario 3D World technically the sequel to Super Mario 3D Land?
Well technically yes. But they may possibly make a Super Mario 3D Land 2. Just look at New Super Mario Bros for the DS for example. Everyone thought that New Super Mario Bros Wii was it's sequel but Nintendo made New Super Mario Bros 2 for the 3DS and then they made New Super Mario Bros Wii U. So It would only be logical for them to make a sequel to an already popular game on their new handheld console. Who knows... There could possibly be a Super Mario 3D World 2 for all I know. As for Paper Mario Wii U... They pretty much made Paper Mario Sticker Star a complete joke and a mockery to the Paper Mario franchise, so it's only natural for Nintendo to fix that mistake. Possibly by making a brand new game on the Wii U since every Paper Mario game has been on their main console since the Nintendo 64. But I could be wrong.

I got a PS3 after I was disappointed with the launch of the Wii U.
An awesome machine IMO. But I was disappointed with the lack of good local multi-player games.
I found the Wii U is actually a really good local multi-player system.
I agree though, Nintendo had better do it right this time.
PS4 and No Man's Sky is really turning my head.

Are Shovel Knight's controls that tight? I've been playing on the PS4 and I don't think they are tight at all. I know it isn't me or TV lag because I don't have that issue with other games, even the classics on my Retron 5 that are being emulated are tight. Maybe I will try on the Vita or PS3 and see if it is a controller/PS4 issue.
My Hyrule Warriors experience is so similar to yours. I've played about 50 hours and am nowhere near completing the first adventure mode map, let alone the 2 other DLC maps so far, and I haven't touched hero mode of the story. I'm so addicted, and when I have friends over and I ask them to play it, they think I'm insane because of how much I enjoy it.
WillDaBeast900 I was lucky enough to have an insane friend who loves this game as much as I do! So we spend hours upon hours on this game!
When I saw that smash was in 5th place I instantly lost respect for him kindof, and how he managed to make up a stupid excuse that he wanted an adventure mode?
Agreed, he should play smash for longer, he would understand how awesome it is, he only said bad stuff about him, nothing bad for anything else
People have different tastes. I personally to Smash in all of its incarnations to be one of the most overrated games ever - it wouldn't be on my personal top 10 list at all.

xXAstro CatXx I'm not saying it is a shallow fighting game, I'm saying multiplayer games in general are shallow. Since the matchs are so quick, there is no way to introduce many mechanics
***** Sorry, but that don't means it is deep. They are just trying to find a way to get na edge over their opponents that was not tought of before. There was that guy that studied as much uses for peanuts as possible, that don't mean peanuts are a deep scientific object. If they where really that deep, you would need to play lots of matches just to play arcade since all the mechanics are present in all matches.
I'm so excited to play those amazing games, i'll get the wii u in a few days. :).

I'm really happy with your personal Top 10. It's about the same with my opinion on the Wii U games even though I don't have a Wii U myself. I also love your number one because I had the same feeling about this game, it's simple, it's kind of stupid but damn it' frikkin awesome! Btw, the story of it does make sense because it's said that Cia opened portals to other time zones. That's basically why there are all those characters in it. I would say that it's worth getting a Wii U just for this game... if you'd have the money :/

The only 2 games I have for my Wii U are New Super Mario Bros U and Mario Kart 8. Needless to say I've put probably 500 hours into MK8 with DLC pack purchased, 10K VR online, and all stamps and everything unlocked... and have played NSMB U for about an hour getting to World 3 haha
You know what I can't blame you for number one. I would have put MK8 there but I went into this game wanting to play 30 mins to start and I ended up playing a bit over two hours.

Also for number 1 it has a rather good if not great story line (from what I've seen) and I don't think people where expecting that when you have a beat em up style game

I just got a Wii u and this list helped me with some ideas..wish I watched it before I got new smash bros ( was looking forward to an adventure mode and unlocking characters) and I have been debating on what I should get next. I want something that I can grind on and still have fun with and I'm really REALLY iffy on hyrule warriors. Zelda fans who have it help me out.. Is it worth the buy? I'm a big Zelda fan

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is the best game on Wii U, don't bother with 3D world. I know first hand it's just an overrated rehash.

Get Smash or TL. PMSS was disappointing compared to the other Paper Mario games. But there are better games out there like Link Between Worlds, Fire Emblem Awakening and such.

Personally, Hyrule Warriors is my favorite game on the Wii U as well. I love getting collectibles, and this game is full of them. The DLC is worth the money, as it adds hundreds of hours to your gameplay. I now have 278 hours on it and I don't regret it! If you have Hyrule Warriors and want more, get the $20 DLC pack.
Now you need to make another top ten Wii U games for 2015. But of course, you will have to wait some time for upcoming games such as Star Fox Wii U, Legend of Zelda U, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and the rumored Metroid U.

Surprised Nintendo Land didn't nab on the list early on, unless that game gets a sequel it may become a surprisingly underrated gem despite being a launch title.

I always thought that Kingdom Hears 358/2 Days would be perfect for the Wii U
I mean, for a game that is focused solely on square-slotting to configure your weapons, it would be a no-brainer to have that as the display of the game-pad. Also, the game pad would help as maps, a quick menu, etc, and the game would just show off the graphics abilities of the console as much as it can

I've noticed a slight problem in some of your videos, just so you know. The volume fluctuates a bit. This video is one example. I put the volume up to hear one entry in your list, and then the next comes up and I have to turn the volume back down, and then the one after that, I have to put it right back up again. The thing is, the volume of the sounds is all the same. It's just the volume of your voice that fluctuates.
