I am interested in your engine, I have a 500 massimo 2016 with a bad bearing in transmission. Gets hot and binds up while moving. Do you think engine is interchangeable? What would you want if workable.
To split the cases use a dlide hammer with the end threaded into a few areas around the case. It’ll come apart much easier and no riske of breaking off or nicking the sealing surface.
Also it doesn’t use silicone between the cases it uses a non hardening grey coloured sealant.Motoseal is one brand.
The belt on these is always under constant tention so thag will have no effect on transmission shift often it’s just that the idle is to high or to low.
This was a great video because I always wanted to see the inside middle drive gear plate of the Hisun.
On the Rhino 660’s I believe they were cast aluminum?? Anyway the were famous for failing or the bolts holding it on would back out. The end result was not good.
So I always wondered if they upgraded them on these HISUN 700 motors because an Aftermarket company made a billet aluminum plate to cure that issue on the Yamaha rhino’s.
Does that one look like it’s a thicker billet drive plate?
Make sure you red loctite those screws holding it on.
I’m curious was the thread locker on those when you pulled them out could you tell? That’s always been a fear I’ve had is having mine fail but maybe they upgraded them when they build them?
I understand that the belts has some tension on the at all times. But it the belt deflection is to tight no matter what idle is set at I will cause the engagement of the secondary clutch causing the transmission to spin making it grind when you put it into gear & making it hard to shift in to gear. But thank you for your feed back anything to help out other understand what issues they are having & anything the community can do to help them solve it is always welcome.
was that a pick up screen on bottom by oil pump? you didn't clean it? can it be accessed from bottom of motor? w o taking apart?.
This motor was super clean & really had nothing wrong with it. But unfortunately it isn't accessible from the bottom. You have to split the cases.
have you encountered the end of the shift drum broken off where there cable shits the smaller gears behind the small cover
Yes I have & that was usually due to the customer being abusive trying to shift the unit when it was having issues with shifting due to the clutches having an issue are the unit idling to hi. But not always the case but it usually stems from that.
That’s kinda what of what i figured. I work on tons of Canam and Polaris Utv’s. And if they are hard to shift it’s normally due to clutch drag/ clutch not letting the belt free at idle.
I have a challenger 750 motor. I have to split to put new shift shaft in it.
Do you know if this 750 motor uses many of the 700 parts ?
As in clutches and such.

Do you happen to know size of the fly wheel puller like thread diameter on the flywheel.
I know the 500 & 700 was a 35Mx1.50 & the 800 is a 38Mx1.50. Not sure about the 750. I would just measure it with that set of calipers take sure of the size.
Hey I put a need transmission in my 2009 massimo 500 and now it doesn’t have low and when I put it in high or reverse it wants to take off. Do u think it would be a clutch issue or a transmission issue. Bc all the indicator lights come on the dash
Do you think it be the wet clutch sticking
I have this same issue, all gears work but when I shift to low and rev it it does nothing. Did you ever figure out what it was?
Definitely sounds like the one-way bearing is probably in backwards on the wet clutch. Also I'm commenting back to the other gentlemen above your comment I'm wondering if his unit does not have low at all or if you just can't shift it into low
Sorry I'm just now seeing this comment. Sounds like you probably have a one-way bearing issue you might have installed it backwards. Is your transmission just not shifting into low gear or is it in low gear and not actuating the low gear? Also if you're having an issue with it taken off when you put it in high gear reverse it is most likely a one-way bearing issue that you probably put it in backwards. You're one way bearing needs to be facing you with the letters and the arrow. Outwards from the motor
@@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 hey when I shift into low just nothing happens, I just got it and he said he had it rebuilt, but think the one way bearing would make only low gear not move at all? Light indicates L but just nothing happens
Do you still have the I get a 750.
Cup cadet 2016 challenger.
I'm looking for a motor.
No I don't have a motor any more. Have you looked into having yours rebuild.
I am looking for at 750 cupcada challenger side by side. Child, do you have a motor?
Do you have a motor?
I sure don't have a motor. But I'm always willing to rebuild them if a person wants to ship them to me.
Whats that motor cost
From the factory they are about $4,600. I already sold this on for $3,500
Any help on who or where I can get a bottom end crack case any help please and thank you I have a 2015 massimo alligator 700 not sure if there's other utv that have the same motor
