I didn’t have much into it and I would not customize a Goldwing. Just leave plain. So with that said it’s was expendable because with no changes in 4 years now I could get one anytime. It did not have a touchscreen and that was my dealbreaker for the GW. When they come out with a touchscreen (and I thought they would in 2024 but they didn’t-only new colors), I will buy another one

FYI Corbin Seats is making seats for this bike now.
And Khrome Works exhaust makes a black chrome header and mufflers in the same coating as factory pipes. Spoke to them. They are the company who does the coating on your bike so it’s an exact match
I understand but I like the CVO seat look. Mine has broken in well and very comfortable. Corbin seat also have a period of breakin. As far as the color for the original pipes it’s all just heat shields and cosmetics. The slip on mufflers are way heavier and I don’t like the look of two mufflers on the rear with short style performance bags. I think two style mufflers are meant for long bags and long rear fenders. That style is on my other road glide and that’s and older classic look that next generation have moved into the performance bagger look. I can’t do wheelies with big mufflers on back without strapping the ground.
@@ChrisGlides I get it. It’s all about preference and how you’re using the bike. For me my goal is a touring bike with a nod to performance. We do a lot of 200 mile days 😎
@@ChrisGlides Between you and “in the friction zone” it’s giving me a lot of great info and ideas for our bike (I have the same one). I’m looking at adding lights to my chopped tour pack just like yours but don’t have the electric skills so waiting for custom dynamics to pony up some products. I had the same Harley light on my 2021 CVO Limited tour pack and loved it.
Who makes those lights on your saddle bags? They look great. Can’t even tell they aren’t flush when the lid is closed.

Hi. Thank you for viewing and for your question. I am using the new Bluetooth Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner. It works great. There is a base tune and also has the Smart tune features that records data for your riding type and smart tunes the bike. I see some features are immediately available and some are coming soon based on model and year bikes. Yesterday I watched a TH-cam video of a guy using his on the last gen Road Glide with smart tune feature. The how to install is simple. Just plug in and leave it in and follow commands on the phone app or laptop. If you use the laptop you will need an additional part which is the laptop cable. After tuning with laptop you will have to go through a sequence of steps to unpair your laptop and then pair bluetooth for your cell phone. I mention this because some people have had better luck loading with with laptop. I have a TH-cam video installing mine. I also have a TH-cam video complaining with the device first came out. I was installing on a new Road Glide 3 trike and it installed but at the time no map data configuration were available so it was frustrating and I bad mouthed them.

I have the king tour pack installed on my RG-CVO but can’t order a tour pack light from HD as they changed the connection plugs on the 2023.
So waiting for HD to release the new lights for the tour pack.
The tour pack lights are exactly the same. The tour pack original wire harnesses can and should still be used. They only need to make an adapter for the harness that is used for the quick tour pak detachment. I show the adapter in this video. I talk about what’s needed. It’s a T splitter adapter that connects the 12 pin adapter into the traditional 6. The reason the bike has a 12 pin adapter is because the extra 6 wires = 2 pos/neg for bag locks + 2 pos/neg for left bag speaker + 2 pos/neg for right speaker. The six wires that you need for the original tour pack set up is the tour pack brake lights that are 6 wires for run/2 neg/brake/left/right. So get light bar that you want. Tour pack is the same for past several years. Get the inside tour pack harness traditional 6 pin. You will need the adapter I’m speaking of and for bag lights that are 6 pin they will connect at the point of the tour pack 6 pin connection to the adapter. I have a separate video on this but in this video I show the harness that you need and I show me making it and I show other clues how to get the harness if you don’t want to wait.

@@This_is_My_Story it’s not available at the dealership so how did they order it. It’s a T 12 pin into 6. No one has it. I made mine and one for another person so far.

I really like his drone content and time with his MC when they ride to designated spots.
That tour pack does not belong on that new cvo IMO it looks out of place and sticks out to far
I have also heard someone else express that and I don’t agree That’s what’s made for the bike. It’s the same type and style that has always came with every M8 and prior in history. I didn’t have much choice on this. Tour packs are simply for touring/storage and since it’s removable it will only be on if I’m on a road trip. I don’t leave any of my tour packs on all year long. Maybe you should submit a design to Harley-Davidson engineering team. They have a job for you. The H-D tour-Pack is better looking to me than the ones that come on the Indian and Honda.
No offense taken. I’ve heard it before. Just no other options. If I find a better one I will install and post but won’t keep the tour pack on unless I’m on a road trip or in winter since I keep cold weather gear and emergency trauma kit inside
@@ChrisGlides I agree the tour packs are the best looking and they dont seem out of place on 22 and below. heck the other RG you have sitting there looks better with a TP . I believe its the smaller rear end on the new CVO that makes it look that way. Keep riding and and stay safe
I appreciate it. I certainly still feel like the TP looks strange but in summer and short rides I’m going to remove from both bikes. More people have them now. I am seeing more TP on them now but I want long fenders on front and rear now with long saddle bags. The previous version with Rushmore fairing is better still now that the novelty has worn off. The old style feels more heavy duty and masculine. I like the Rushmore look better. More aggressive and heavy weight. The new style has no beacon. 😂
