Min homestay,,,,malay village kampung jungle vibe,, Kura kura homestay,, Bidayuh village kampung rainforest vibe,, Same same but different,, Very good experience,, Once in life time,,
Your traveling experiences are different from most youtubers traveling around malaysia. You guys dont try to attract views by reviewing food and liking it everytime which is getting boring in my opinion. Yours are more fresh..authentic and 'real'. Keep it up. Hope you can do more of workaways experience in Malaysia. By the way there used to be one in Negeri sembilan on workaways on helping to build bamboo eco resort...not sure its completed or they still need help. Keep up the great work in showing us around Malaysia. Good to watch it from different view/perspective from the travelers not tourists.
It's always fun to see how you three (jetleg warriors, ken abroad and travelgramers) tend to choose the "road not taken" by most travelers. Instead of going to the main touristy spots yall go for the hidden gems exploration (i, myself a kelantanese didn't even aware that min camphouse exist) so thanks to yall i discovered that. Also it's funny how you guys always seem to cross paths too. 😂
Did you know the word feringhi ( batu feringhi ) refers to the Portuguese. Malay formerly called the Portuguese as "white bengali" which means feringhi.
U guys must visit Taman Negara (National Park) which consists of 3 states... Pahang, Terengganu & Kelantan. The thick jungle is about 130 million years old & one of the oldest tropical rainforest in the world.
Wow very interested , hi i'm from malay ,i hope you can came again at malay and came at perhentian island at negeri terengganu behind the negeri kelantan , that island so beautiful you can see turtle and lizzard , thanks for coming malaysia , i proud saw you happy at my village , i hope you came again
wow this is my village Kelantan ,, I am very excited and like it, because tourists are interested in the atmosphere of Kelantan ,, I like you two ,, keep traveling #ifromkelantan
This video is awesome .. I love everything about it .. you guys are very clever in delivering the content .. you should work for The National Geography .. you know what, I am now thinking of spending my next break at the Min House Camp !! .. thank you for sharing .. Travelgrammers is the best 👍👍
Aww thanks so much for your kind words. If you want a relaxing break min house camp in the perfect place, we loved it there it’s peaceful and so so relaxing 😌
We also got Kelulut to at my house. seems like a popular hobby in Brunei. My dad ( and i used to) harvest the honey with a small pump and go through every honey pod but we leave the bee bread. I didn't knew we could eat the bread or maybe my dad knew but left something for the bees and probably prefers the honey. Speaking of honey, the honey changes in colour and taste depending on the surrounding flowers. The darker the honey, the bitter it taste and the clearer the honey, the sweeter it taste. My parents bought the most clear Kelulut honey I've even seen in any honey and it taste like how i see bees or humming birds would eat nectar. sweet and flowery. Also even though they don't have stingers, they can still bite but only when they have a clear reason to attack and defend themselves or when they smell something weird. In my case, i tried to harvest the honey by my self and my mom ask me to wear the new slippers she got me. New slippers =new slipper rubber/plastic smell and so after a while of harvesting i felt uncomfortable at my feet and as i look down they were swarming at the soles of my feet, trying to get in between the slipper and my feet. so i ran, told my dad, and stop continuing the harvest. Surprisingly the bites don't hurt a lot, only feels a bit uncomfortable. But i feel really bad for the bees because when i ran a lot of them were between my feet and the slipper so they got crushed. I got really sad because they are very nice and gentle. Sometimes i even pet them if they land on my hand.
Let me share that living in the village compare to the cities, is that people in the village have no worries about food what so ever its only at their door steps , whereas in the cities they more dependents on food chain from the supermarkets,if for some reason the food chain is shortage than the city dewellers find quite difficult to survived, its an added advantage in choosing your choice of traveled staying in the village as the experience that you gain is worth more than a penny as the saying goes " the more you travel the more you see"
For me that living in rural areas is easily get bored in a couple of days. But I like to watch your videos about rural areas in Kubang Kerian even though I like to live in a city.
We found it through workaway platform since we were there as volunteers but people can just go there on a day trip or stay overnight. They have their own website that you can check out minhousecamp.com
Travelgrammer......... That's best time for both of you get out from husle and bustle city....... It good for your health living in jungle with refreshing air.... Natural food..... Relaxing your mind and body.....
remember the body shop ? its beginning is its passion for understanding the dynamic of nature and its native inhabitant. all your traveling probably by now has enriched you with a wealth of information, a pool of resources for networking, band or loyal followers, and fresh pair of new eyes to see the world, its floral, fauna, and people. if you choose to go that way? or just simply do the traveling vlog so people like me can escape to a world distant away and indulge in your journey with the energy, anticipation, and respect; of an exemplary global citizen of the world. I remember how my grandma uses fresh sprout young leaves around the garden while it is still soaking wet from the morning dew as facial scrub before applying mushy rice grains mix with water, letting it dry out a bit before washing it clean as her beauty regime. yes, she has translucent soft skin all her life. watching the makcik telling you the medicinal properties of kampung keladi bring back my kampung memories...you guys bring back the good old memories...I'm smiling happy thoughts, thank you...
