Hi ,yeah I've done 2 laps and love fishing especially for barramundi!! Darwin on lures caught 17 at Shady Camp on a day charter, only allowed 2 each, great eating, I've lived in the Whitsundays and Port Douglas, originally from Manchester UK, then Geelong/Melbourne, was Defence Force Engineer at Williamstown dockyards, cheers and all the best, safe travel 😊
Thankyou for watching and commenting! Yeah Alice has always had a bit of a stigma and worse-so for good reason lately but it has such great potential to be a really beautiful outback city. It would be great to see a solution (???) to the problems caused by (in large part) multigenerational welfare dependance and see the proportion of the indigenous population that frankly, and sadly, disrespect their own culture take responsibility for their behaviours which reflect poorly on the Aboriginal population as a whole. Let’s hope Alice can get back up and be the town it can be and should be soon! Cheers

I don't quite understand, do you mean you won't go to Alice itself, or everywhere around there? Alice is central for fuel, both vehicle and people, service stations aren't exactly thick on the ground in central Australia and you'll miss good things like the desert park and the school of the air ,plus miss pinks garden. Still, up to you.

Was at Daley Waters pub 2001, couldn't believe there's women's lingerie hanging from the rafters!! WTF, we heard the locals had invented a game of drinking then female tourists would donate panties and bras!! As were leaving a coach of about 50 Danish all female 20 ish years olds turned up 😂 😅 ❤❤ 😊
Just wait until you see a native copulating with a dog in the middle of Todd Mall and all the other locals just ignore it like it's a completely normal event.
If that event happened to you as described, it sounds like it would have been quite a traumatic thing to have witnessed and I'm sorry you had to see that. We did not see that sort of activity, and I can only provide content based on our experience, of course. There has been no shying from the fact there is clearly a very complex crime problem in Alice Springs. This video is not a documentary designed to hunt down the truth about life in Alice, nor present some sort of fake agenda like media and government, rather we are simply documenting what we see and do in our travels and hopefully bring you some joy as well. What we are doing is trying to see the greatest Australia has to offer in the safest way we can, with the knowledge that Alice has issues.
