- Stayed for 2 nights in the great little town of Daly Waters in the Northern Territory, Australia. Met the owner of the historic Daly Waters Pub, Tim Carter. Tim was kind enough to show me around his pub & his collection of vintage toys. Hope you enjoy this slice of outback Australia!

I met Tim late December 2023,what an absolute legend he is,i stayed 1 night,hope i can return someday,thanx again for the pic,I'd love to have those horns hanging up on my loungeroom wall,from Andrew,with the white ford ute and tattoo's.

What a legend
Must of been away whwn i was there for Christmas few years ago. Seen a bloke called Rowdy but. Knew him years before. Made my day. Good meals and nice staff.

What an absaloute legend of a guy, love his horse. Goat & dog & hes such a character, the true spirit of Australia & his collection is fabulous. ❤
The IGA his daughter runs in Coober Pedy is well stocked too.

Tim is a real Aussie bloke. He's very hands on as well. My wife slipped over while getting into the pool. When Tim heard about it, he got into the pool with a scouring pad and some jiffy to remove the slippery bits. The museum is a beauty. Tim collects the stuff I would love to have.
What a great story. I found Tim to be very generous & friendly as well.

We called in September 2023 great quirky place ,cheap meals & beer we loved it.
I was there 3 months after,late December 2023.
Daley waters was one of my drop off points inmid eigthes,I drove road train out Adelaide to Darwin for 4 years, they get couple pallets goods every fortnight, from Alice on to Darwin it thing about eight drop off points,matarranka was best pub next stop after Daley waters,spent 2 weeks at Hayes CK due floods,couldn't go south or north,them were days.

Outback pubs are the best 🍺

I'd more than recommend u go check this place out,stay at least 1 night,the museum is across the road from the pub.

I've drove to Darwin and back only wish I'd new about the place then. Thanks for putting it on utube. Now I can go and check it out 👌🤙👍🍻
If u plan on going,my advice,take extra fuel,if u don't have a 20lt plastic petrol can,get 2,prepare as if your going camping,camp chair/table etc,2 portable butane gas stoves,plus a power inverter,BE PREPARED for an awesome adventure,watch out for kangaroos,my next N.T. adventure is Uluru and the sth oz border.

These camp sites when they say powered or unpowered what does that mean for me with a 4x4 camper ? Is it just for the lights and fridge in the 4x4 ? I’m clueless really 🫣 thanks very much 🙌🏻

Wondering if the sticker the band 'The Blind Mullets"' we put there in 89 is still there, its black with white letters. We also put a 75SQN sticker there, but theres probably dozens of them by now

I can't criticise your question because many more would think that (like me!) while thinking that the question is a little too private. But, he is entrepreneurial... and kind. Great video.
Daly Waters was the best place to go as my mate and his family lived there in 80/90 ,now ,they have destroyed the place , he didn't tell you about the gun fight in the main street way back in the early days ,i know more about the place then he does ,he is not a legend, he only got money .
