I’ve done this with importing player and it will do it but then it won’t save the player on the roster when you try pulling up a franchise mode

So I created my player and everything and i use the player lock but whenever I'm in game i always get pinch hit in about the 7th inning. I don't know much about baseball so can someone tell me how to fix it? I don't know if it's because I maxed out my players attributes but I want to be able to play for the whole game like in Road to the Show

start a franchise with your created roster and use player lock when you get into a “play next game”
