What button do I press at 3:02 to bring up the option to bring the player in? Once I am in the roster Im stuck - no buttons on controller will bring up the option to import my player?
@@Dimezz_edits I believe you used to be able to....to select an existing player. I'm not sure honestly. It would show up before you head into RTTS...to select a new player or an existing one. I just don't play the mode enough to know. You'd have to test it out.
I have an entire custom league of created players, so it can be done! You can use a created roster for all modes, but not online like Diamond Dynasty, obviously.
All I want to do is make up fake rosters with the legendary players creating a all star line up from different generations and have to the computer play out the game. Is that possible? For example I’d love to watch Cy Young go up against Puhols… or Nolan Ryan throw against Lou Gehrig?
Probably. The Show has legend players already in the game as free agents. If you go into Roster Control and move people around, this can probably be done. Never tried it personally. Although, players that aren't already in the game, you'd have to find someone's creation of that player....which isn't ideal, but it's something.
I just looked in game for you...I don't think there's a way to import a player into road to the show. You have to create a player from scratch. So what I'd do, if it were me, would be to download the player from the vault...and either record (if you have something that can screen capture) or literally take photos with your phone on that player's visual specs (nose, ears, hair style number, etc.) and re-create that player to become your "ballplayer" in road to the show. It's tedious, annoying, but if you're going to be spending a lot of time in the mode...it's probably worth it.
@@GoldGlover9 Ty yea I was tryna creat manny ramirez for my dd squad I usually use barry bonds but it takes so long I just had to ask thx for your time!
So when you download a player from the vault and place on a team, does that player show up when you start a franchise? I downloaded and imported Ichiro onto the Mariners, started a franchise, and he wasn't on the roster. Any advice?
Did you save the roster after you put him onto a team? If you did, did you load the roster when starting the new franchise? Before you go into a franchise it asks what roster you want to use. You need to select “load saved/custom roster” and pick the one you saved Ichiro onto.
I'v been attempting to obtain Louisville Slugger legends bats(like Babe Ruth) I can't buy it nor equip my Created player with those bats...How do I unlock equipment...NOTE I'M REFERRING TO FRANCHISE MODE!!!...Anyone can explain it will greatly appreciated...
How to do you import vault players to franchises you already started?. Why doesn't mlb the show have it like madden or other games where you can import draft Classes of different years?
Ok I’m good with the import. But after you start a franchise and want to create more guys and import Sammy Sosa for example, it won’t save after you import. Even after I save rosters etc. the next time I try and load the franchise I can’t keep importing players. For example, I think I created Michael Jordan and it was successful but maybe only like 3 or 4 players. After that it stopped.
That’s what I said in this tutorial. Once you’re in a franchise file, you can’t import players anymore. It doesn’t allow you to. Also, if you have a new roster file that you’re creating/adding players to, the franchise takes that roster file into it. Even if you update that roster file at the main menu, it’s not going to effect the franchise file you have. Any changes you make to it at the main menu have zero effect on the roster inside your franchise file. If you’re wanting to make changes to a roster file and take those changes into a franchise file, it has to be a new franchise. In other words, you’d need to be satisfied with the roster you’re making, 100% being done, before you enter into a franchise.
@@GoldGlover9 Gotcha. So you have to create all the players, put them in as Free agents, and then start new franchise. So you already need to make all the created players you want, you can’t create after unless you simply takeover a scrub in the minors and flip him to a created player.
I'm only 5 games into my franchise season and sazuki wasn't on the team. Finally, there was the update last week and he was added to the exhibition live team so if you want to play that you're fine. But, can I put him into the current franchise season I'm playing? I'm only 4-1 but still or can I just delete my current franchise season completely and start over? I shouldn't have to do what your video said now as he's been added to the game. I just was wondering if I can add him to my current franchise team? I'm using my Xbox series X. It gets a bit confusing and I'm just a casual player on veteran but it sure is a blast to play. I haven't played march to October yet but I like starting everyone out and watching their averages go up or down etc... I'd be glad for anything you might point out. Thanks, Nick
Hey Nick, so inside a franchise file....you gotta think of it like that’s YOUR world now. A world where Suzuki isn’t in it. Think of it further, if they patched franchise files and updated those to reflect in real life transactions, and moved players around, it wouldn’t be YOUR world would it? It’d get really messy too. So what I’m saying above is that even though he’s in the game now, he won’t be in your franchise file. The other sucky part is that they lead you on. There’s an option inside franchise mode to turn on “CPU Roster Control” before you enter a season. In this, you can manage the CPU and yourself in deeper ways. It’s what I use for the GGBL series. There’s an option to “import players” when editing a team’s roster, but they don’t actually let you import anything, only export. So say you’re 10 years into the future and you wanna export one of your favorite players you drafted or something you can export him and save him to use again in anything. It’s a cool feature but I’ve always wished you can import players into franchise like it says you can.... So in all...you can’t get Suzuki into your franchise file, you’ll have to start over OR if you’re dead set on keeping the file up...you can always copy down his stats for facial features like nose pavement, eyebrow number, batting stance, etc, it’s a lotta work, but you could use all that data and recreate him basically. Take over another random dude and just make him Suzuki. Hope that helps. Good luck!

@@navyvet7138 ah gotcha. That’s more clear. There isn’t a way to import players inside a franchise already created.
