Koh Lanta is a great place to visit. It’s know for being unspoiled by mass tourism as well as having world class beaches. Here is one of the beaches on the south that most people don’t know about. It’s very nice. I like it being quiet. It’s part of the charm. You also may enjoy my wife’s video. Here is her video of the old town. th-cam.com/video/b8bsQ0FgwPE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ub9VvuHpTob6OYv-
@@endlessjourneytravels yes we have 5 nights in November. Just wondering are there any beaches on the right side of island? Found a nice place to stay near old town but thinking it might be too far away from beaches.
@@larastevens2256 all of the beaches are on the opposite side of the island from the old town. The island isn’t too big but unless you hire out a songtaw or have your own transportation it’s too far away. There are a few things to do on the east (old town side) like boat tours, mangrove forest and the old town but most everything is centered around the beaches on the west side. I’ve always stayed near the beaches but I always have a car there in order to get around.
@@larastevens2256 no problem. Enjoy your trip. I would love to be back there now instead of in Bangkok. lol if you get a chance check out the beaches on the south of the island. Me and my wife really enjoyed this one. Bamboo Beach (Had Mai Phai) - Unspoiled Paradise - Koh Lanta Thailand th-cam.com/video/F0QPJmzVw58/w-d-xo.html
