Hello. We are going to Koh Lipe in January/February. How is the prices for food and beer at the restaurants compare to other places in Thailand? And where did you stay? Regards

I'm so jealous. You're gonna have an epic time! I'd avoid the week before and after Lunar New Year (lots of tourists). Food prices are a little more expensive compared to places like Krabi, Phuket or Lanta, but only slightly. The 7-Eleven was about 30% more expensive (on average) but food and beer was not that much more expensive. If you look at the Google map linked in the description, you can find all our favorite restaurants, hotels, and beaches on the island. Just look up the food menu under the restaurant reviews on Google Maps to see the most recent prices.
