SAS appeared in "mind the gap". opfor/Makarovs men appeared in the last mission. Militia appeared In the Africa missions. Task force 141 appeared in all the soap and price missions.
If you notice at the last mission and when it shows the TF 141 logo, we do not see the red 'disavowed' writing, since the Russian President Vorshevsky promised to clear the name of the Taskforce 141 after they rescued him from the Diamond Mine in Siberia.
It's really sad to think about how Price had to witness his best friend die in front of him, and he just *BEGS* MacMillan to tell him where Makarov is. MacMillan and Soap didn't even know each other, but Baseplate is still pissed. He even asks Price if he can even trust Yuri, and Price just tells him that Yuri has his own personal reasons for wanting to kill Makarov. Thankfully, Baseplate gives Price a list of weapons to find Makarov. MacMillan is such a good dude. R.I.P. John "Soap" MacTavish

Those memories are all that's left, when the bastards have taken everything else." "What happened?" "He killed Soap. He's gone, Mac" "What do you need from me, son?"
The old mission briefings are so memorable, unlike the new ones. They are double in length but give half the info we need, and the information has nothing to do with the game other than showing "we are badass soldiers you can play as if you spend 10$ to buy our monthly battlepass"
17:20 _"There's a simplicity to war. Attacking is the only secret. Dare, and the world yields. How quickly they forget that all it takes to change the course of history - is the will of a single man."_ Relevant to what's going on now, huh?
When price informs Mac about Soaps death it always gave me goosebumps, the pure bitterness in his voice. Price was on the edge and ready to jump into the abyss to drag Makarov screaming and kicking out into the light then and there.
I love the detail how the delta force and others use computer and tech to debrief missions while 141 uses traditional pin and bulletin board until they got their disavow revoked

Tbh I wished that MWII would be just as gritty and dark like MW19, but it lost the charm MW19's campaign had. As for the MWIII, maybe I'm gonna focus more on the multiplayer, I heard the MP is decent and I played the beta MP and I have to admit, it's WAY better than MWII's MP. Though I'm still mad that they didn't market it as the DLC to MWII as it's already planned, Sledgehammer Games officials admitted that the MWIII was done like in the last minute because they're asked to turn the said DLC to MWIII by the execs at the very last second so they have to overhaul the story and stuff. I heard it was originally contained all the remastered maps and six additional campaign missions instead of what we had right now.
not even with the old mw2 maps were able to get our attention, probably is the first cod that I wasn’t excited about. On the other hand this MW trilogy was the best everything! cinematics, gameplay, guns everything!

kinda cool how all the factions from the previous games appeared in this game. 3:27 the Marines from mw1 and the rangers from mw2 appeared there.
The spetsnaz appeared in the Delta force missions. SAS appeared in "mind the gap". opfor/Makarovs men appeared in the last mission. Militia appeared In the Africa missions. Task force 141 appeared in all the soap and price missions.
Wow youre right! Mind blown
Because US and Russia war from MW2 isn't over yet. Since Rangers done in Washington, they must proceed in other cities and states

If you notice at the last mission and when it shows the TF 141 logo, we do not see the red 'disavowed' writing, since the Russian President Vorshevsky promised to clear the name of the Taskforce 141 after they rescued him from the Diamond Mine in Siberia.
Bro I'm such a dumbass I always wondered why the disavowed wasn't there, I just thought it was bc I was price 😅
9:03.....I had goosebumps when MacMillan's voice comes up! The only man who could ever call Cpt. Price "Son"
The Royal Army don't leave a comrade behind. Let alone the SAS
Actually MacMillan and price were in gili metion in chirnobel mw1
I love how at 14:14 after the death of Soap, the Task Force 141 emblem behind Yuri's name falls away into darkness
Makarov: “All warfare is based on deception…”
Price: “They say truth is the first casualty of war…”
"Who's telling the truth?"
"There's a clocktower in Hereford where the names of the dead are inscribed. We try to honor their deeds even as their faces fade from our memory. Those memories are all that's left, when the bastards have taken everything else."
"What happened?"
"He killed Soap. He's gone, Mac"
"What do you need from me, son?"
The old mission briefings are so memorable, unlike the new ones. They are double in length but give half the info we need, and the information has nothing to do with the game other than showing "we are badass soldiers you can play as if you spend 10$ to buy our monthly battlepass"

Yup and the music holy shit it was emotional 🥲
the score in this game is sooooo good and well put. for example, at 10:18 the background music, overlord's brief explanation and the delta force logo sound effect makes the scene more intense. sends chills down my spine everytime i hear it.
Dude... One minute of this has more substance the entirety of FW 3 (Fake Warfare 3, as I call the new CoD). This is the CoD I grew up with! What the hell happened with it?!
Money is why , let just pretend there's now new MW , they only call it to draw our attention n buy their shit

The modern warfare reboot series campaigns are good but it does not have the thrill and excitement of all out warfare between multiple nations like in the original mw trilogy. There were nuclear bombs, airport shootouts, Russian attack on USA white House, fall of eiffel tower, gas attacks in European countries
Exactly, the stakes aren't high enough in the reboot by comparison.
Mw3 should have high stakes...they are playing safe because of Activision but maybe now because of Microsoft they won't be that soft and safe...they can do like mission impossible - esque type high stakes story in front mw3
Yeah something about the military authenticity is what it’s missing all the old campaigns had these new ones feel like a soap opera at time you guys are right not enough stakes but mw1-2 storylines are probably unmatched and bo1 is absolutely perfect cal of duty campaign they just don’t have that same passion any more to make a compelling story.
