Interesting video a pity that the sound was missing however I therefore take it that the large black rectangular section was the battery, I was expecting to see a round type of battery similar to the one in my desktop PC. I bet this one is pricey!!

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire E5-771 and because the old battery lasted only max. 30min, I changed it with a new one, but that doesn't load over 89% ... How can I reset or make it fully charge?
unplug it hold in the power button a minute to discharge any extra static charge in the system, try power on and then repeat if not working. If still not working you need unplug the battery inside and leave unplugged and hold power button down a minute to discharge static electricity in the system, then plug battery back in and charger and try power up, if not repeat a few times till it works. I had do mine 3 or 4 times before it worked, videos show that with the battery and charger unplugged holding the power button down a minute can remove extra static charge that can keep the computer from starting. Most likely its fine just have get that extra static charge out and it will start up again.
I recommend restarting, plugging in a usb keyboard and then download some drivers restart again. I replaced a keypad in mine and it didn't work I had watch some trouble shooting videos and then I downloaded a driver did a restart a couple times and it started working.
Normally the ribbon isnt in properly from the keyboard to the main circuit board. Sometimes also if you dont get the ribbon in square then an odd key or 2 may not work but the rest of the keyboard might. I had mine in 3 or 4 times before I got the hang of it.
