  • I have SUBLIMATION on the glass cutting boards from Dollar Tree to make great hot plates for the spring holidays. I use Oracal white matte vinyl and Dollar Tree white permanent vinyl for these sublimation attempts.
I try sublimation several different ways and at different sublimation temperatures with my cricut easy press 2 and different times. I also try it with dollar tree cricut vinyl. I designed the coastal images for st patrick's day and Easter on canva. The links are below.

You're the first person I've heard mention actually using them and not just for decoration so if people want to use it for a cutting board what would be the care instructions for that? Are they washable? Or just wipe the cutting surface? Any tips would be helpful. Thank you 😊

So you put the vinyl on the rough side then lay the vinyl on top of pattern then heat press it

If you use rapid tack you want have bubbles in your vinyl also if you heat the glass wait for it to cool before subbing because when it is warm the subbing start and can might it have ghosting. Also if you let it cool completely and the paper will not stick as bad.

Use a squeegee to smooth out the air bubbles
