The GBA one is truly mind-blowing, but I hate how the GCN changes colors constantly and looks plastic-y, whilst the original looks like rainbow colored glass with fluid animation and texture. Also the DS one looks like the last source of color in an endless void, which is why I love this version so much

That last glider section really pisses me off
I just liked the wii one, because it just reminds me of a time when I would try to beat it on 150 cc in first, but always fell

DS Rainbow Road should definitely return to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC because I know that MK8DX's physics will work really good with the vertical loop and corkscrew parts of the track because of Anti Gravity
Only bad thing doing so? I used to place peels and cause other racers to spin out and fall on the loop-de-loop XD
But since anti-gravity exists in MK8 that wouldn't work anymore! 😢
I still think it should have been in the Wii U dlc instead of snes rainbow road again

The ds rainbow road is a worse version of the gcn rainbow road. At least the wii version made it in.

Those custom Rainbow Roads are awesome! I'm looking forward to Wii Rainbow Road. Since I know that one is coming in Wave 6.
It's quite interesting to see how closely the custom Wii version resembles the one that was put in the Booster Course Pass, even with the whole track being anti-gravity and all.
Mario Kart 7's Rainbow Road is by far the best of the Rainbow Roads that Nintendo made.

12:20 I was having doubts about the DX version being another custom SNES version of rainbow road, until I saw all 8 of the combined in one and fell in love with the DX track. I know it’ll never happen but I’ll cry either way if they do or don’t add the DX version as a surprise.

I love the look of GBA Rainbow Road, I just wished it was in the DLC for MK8DX because according to the prefix data mine, there is room for only 1 more GBA track, you never know but it might appear in the next main Mario Kart, or maybe even the next Space tour because that’s where Rainbow Roads usually come from, like with Wii Rainbow Road.
I think GBA Rainbow Road will be the last track in the Lightning Cup in the next Mario Kart Game (7 had SNES, 8 had N64 so logically 9 would have GBA)
Plus, with the DLC, we already have 5 Rainbow Roads, which is enough: Switch, N64, SNES, 3DS, and Wii!
Don't get me wrong, I like Rainbow Road tracks as much as the next MK racer, but there's gotta be some moderation!
So this is the DS rainbow Road you chose... Not a bad choice ! Although I still prefer the loop section in the "OG" Ds rainbow road remake (I don't have the creator's name, but it's the one with the black outlines everywhere and a rainbow in exagon pattern)

@@natedawg19 1 SNES, 2 GCN, 1 Wii, 2 Tour, 2 Nitro. That's left for wave 6 (Before you go "But we got Wii Moonview Highway, so Wii is all filled in". NO IT ISN'T! Internal data shows that Moonview Highway's original label was for the third track in the Acorn Cup, which was labeled as a ???/Nitro track from the prefix leak, meaning it replaced a Nitro track slot (which also may hint that we're not quite done yet with the BCP), thus not taking up the final Wii slot).
Big predictions for wave 6 tracks are:
SNES Bowser Castle 3, GCN Mushroom Bridge, GCN DK Mountain/Dino Dino Jungle (one of the two), Wii Rainbow Road, Tour Rome Avanti, another Tour city track (possibly the rumored Madrid track), Piranha Plant Cove, and Piranha Plant Pipeline.
Just remaster the original version from the Wii because the tour version is trash ♻️
RMX SNES Rainbow Road is also in CTGP-7! The Rainbow Cup can be a really good idea!
For GBA Rainbow Road they could have used those Rainbow Thwomps instead of regular Thwomps

What us Wii rainbow road fans want for MK 8 deluxe, no railings since that's what made the track so much fun and challenging, it demanded you had great handling skill since there weren't any railing to save you from your mistakes

When it comes to GBA Rainbow Road, I've always wanted a section where you go inside the castle from Paper Mario, still though, mind blowing.
All the tracks are very good, except the rainbow road "enhanced ", because the color of the path is too bright and I think that make driving difficult.
Is there a way to connect all rainbow roads together to make a super track?

If Nintendo do a new Mario kart for switch 2 they should Include a cup called "fusion cup", in which consist on just one track for several parts of rainbow road courses and his duration would be over 6-10 minutes.

DS one was good. MK7 was absolutely stunning.
The MKDD!! Rainbow Road remake is pretty creative don’t get me wrong like it makes me want to rave, but the music has the least Nintendo-esque remix feel, like it feels like it’s either a trap remix or it belongs in a Geometry Dash level. I also have a minor gripe with the segment at around 5:37-5:49 where they didn’t keep the part where the star gives off the illusion of ascending as you go farther down the spiral. Impressive remake nevertheless, I just feel like Nintendo set the bar too high

The enhanced 8 Rainbow Road looks like they built the space station AROUND the rainbow road rather than the road being part of the space station, which greatly improves the general aesthetic of the track
