    I found that you work in Aces color management mode, and all textures use RAW format color space, the Base color map is also in RAW format color space, I want to know if the textures need to convert color space when rendering in Srgb color space. I hope to get your detailed answer, thank you again!

    Hey Arvid, I have a question about specular/roughness maps. I've seen that you can use rgb "area maps" for example red green and blue for different face zones, and control the specular / roughness for each color. How do these mask work? And what node should be used to connect the specular map to these masks?

    • @arvidurs
      @arvidurs  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that is totally possible. I would use the aiColorCorrect node which has a mask input. Just plug the specular roughness map in the input and the rgb matte into mask. Then the outcolor.r to the specular roughness. that should do it

    • @xM4NU97
      @xM4NU97 5 ปีที่แล้ว
