The all weather version of the 728b, is that a 731 compression driver on your mids? And an EMT turntable? You’ve got a pretty sick system, aka a great and thoughtfully put together. And 757s behind these, this is an awesome setup, I’m envious TBQH.

Nice work, you also have experience (video) with philips drivers?
I used a pair of 8" Philips alnico fullranges launched in the 1960s when I made the video of WS-01 enclosure. I think alnico Philips units reproduce good sound in general.

I had made several WE 757A loud speakers three years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't make videos about them. You can see WE 757A I made in my channel. I will upload the making pricess of WE 757A speaker someday. Thank you for your encouragement.
@@weklangspeaker2054 Thank you for the reply! I'm having someone make a 757A cabinet now. I will be using the 754a instead of the 728B, because I don't have any 728B. Unfortunately I don't have the horns and I will be having someone make the KS12027 horns, duplicating them from an original (hopefully it will work), and also I will use an Altec 802 Compression driver instead of the 713C which I don't have either. I hope it will work and sound ok. How did you like the 757A speakers that you made? Did you have original components?
Yes, I have original WE units except for cabinet. It is composed of a 728B woofer(small holes), a 713C driver, a 702A network(earlier model) and a KS12027 horn. I had gained them for 25 years. I have listened to many WE 757A speakers. I think that WE 757A is the No1 home speaker in the world if it is composed of original WE units.
위클랑 사운드 weklang sound wow! You found all those parts? They seem even harder to find today and are very expensive. I’ll have to try out my loose approximation of the 757a. I’m still very excited to hear what they sound like. I do wish I had the 728B speaker and of course the 713C, but my friend said the KS12027 horn sounded great with the Altec driver.
I dare to say that your friend didn' listen to real WE 757A ststems. They are a legend in an audio history. You can hear very very very natural and emotional sounds from them. Moreover, you can hear awesome sounds through not ears but heart. Can you tell me which country you live? Have a good night.

Unfortunately, I don't have the plan of the cabinet. I built it five years ago. After building it, I lost the plan.

Original WE 300A or 300B amps(91B) make an excellent match with 754A speakers.

That is NOT an original cone/suspension. I have one 100% original.
There are two kinds of WE 754. One is for civil use, and the other is for military use. I think you have civil units. The origonal 754 military unit has a phenolic cone and a rubber edge. The original 754 civil unit has a paper cone and wrinkled fixed edge. The military unit was made before the civil unit. Later, the military unit was developed into the civil unit.

솔직히 초고음, 저음 잘려서 코멩멩한 소리가 들리는데 요즘 이런걸 만들면 팔릴까요? 요즘 제대로 만든 풀레인지 스피커 들어 보려면 보사티브 스피커 들어보시길. 빈티지와 하이엔드 양쪽에서 인정하는 훌륭한 소리.

당시 소스 음역레인지도 저정도가 적당했슴..
다만 웨스턴일렉트릭 회사 개발진들은 당대 최고두뇌들이니
그음역용도에 맞게 만들었을뿐임..
당시에 스피커는 하이테크롤로지라 무수한 인재가 가서 개발한 것이고, 90년대 들어서면서 오디오, 스피커 이런 쪽은 사양한 산업이 된지 오래 인데, 누가 돈을 투자하고, 우수한 인재가 그쪽으로 가겠음??? 조선사람 운운하며 삐딱거리지 말고, 자신의 무식함을 먼저 탓해라......
