    Those curved petals (a central horn and side niches) do not work without a horn. This is like a folded twisted Voigt pipe from rear and a horn from a front. Your box sounds like a box. Sorry about that. Because your niches just resonate at some certain frequency like boo-boo-boo. They must be opened into a horn.

      아름다운 댓글 감사합니다. 70~13000hz의 주파수대역을 가진 알니코 유닛이라면 별도의 트위터가 필요없을 것으로 생각되니 참고하시기 바랍니다. 좋은 한 주 보내시구요.

    Nice video. Please tell me, in the last picture with the front view, i see no more acoustic boards. You take them off ? Thank you !

    • @weklangspeaker2054
      @weklangspeaker2054  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't take off acoustic boards. It's enough for my fullranges. If you need more acoustic boars, you should make the front board wider when you start to make it.

    Beautiful!! but what is acoustic board? Why is it needed?

      This enclosure is made of 12mm birch plywood because it tends to reprduce satisfied sound.

    mr.weklang i suppose AD9710 then?when can we see a horn design for 9710s big brothers AD5200m and the last 1968 version AD 1255/m7 its more power handling than the 9710 and more efficient and greater frequency response in the bass and the highs.

    • @weklangspeaker2054
      @weklangspeaker2054  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your good information. This enclosure can accept all kinds of fullranges in the world.

      @@weklangspeaker2054 mr.weklang i have seen your full range video of 8 inch drivers worth listening to low price middle price and high price there you list philips 9710 as middle price over 500 US$ but i can buy them in holland for 100-120 euros for an excellent pair also listed was magnavox p232 listed in the lower price range up to 500 us$ i just gave 4 of those away to a man who bought my magnavox field coil 15 inch speakers from 1950 there are chinese buyers here in netherlands who search for full range speakers and export i think to asia and make a big profit ad5200m and ad1255/m7 are 12 inch full range speakers alnico built for vacuum tube amplifiers they are just bigger ad9710s and have a floating copper ring inside the voice coil that in the ad1255/m7 keeps the impedance across the frequency range at a fixed 7 ohms and the 68/69 9710/m7 also does this here the 5200m are worth about 300-350 euros for a nice pair and ad 1255/m7 around 300 euros for a nice pair .so i ask is there a buisness oportunity for me in the netherlands to find nice full range speakers,mostly from philips and export to where you are for a good profit there is a set of speakers here for sale and the highest bid is 150 euros not sold yet for philips 9803 klang film speakers that is vintage cinema 10 inch loudspeakers the highest bidder is tran jong the owner of the speakers wants more tran jong is a chinese bidder in the netherlands. I think tran jong wants to buy for 150 and sell to you over in asia for 600 us$ or more.

      @@christopherhines2718 Above all, thank you your proposal. However, I am not a dealer selling speaker unit but a carpenter for the people wanting an enclosure. I buy only 3~4 vintage units from a Korean dealer a year. I deal with all kinds of vintage units imported from all over the wirld.
      Ayway, thank you for your suggestion again.
