Those curved petals (a central horn and side niches) do not work without a horn. This is like a folded twisted Voigt pipe from rear and a horn from a front. Your box sounds like a box. Sorry about that. Because your niches just resonate at some certain frequency like boo-boo-boo. They must be opened into a horn.
This is when a scaling does not work. It sounds like a box. A simple plywood box.
I guess the national/ Panasonic 8" didn't make the cut...I know that they sound / perform better than a few on your list..

Eine wunderbare Arbeit, ich verstehe etwas davon, weil ich selbst schon einige LSP gebaut habe, doch, ob dieses Horn etwas für alle Musikrichtungen und einen brauchbaren Bass bringt? ... das ist eine wichtige Frage!

So are you using a portion of two WE22s to front load your 755as?
The 755A is an 8" fullrange.
The 755A is an 8" fullrange. So It doen't have to amount WE22C or other drivers.
@@weklangspeaker2054 I realize that the 755a is “full range”, I have a pair of Altec 755a, what my impression, from the video, was you were using the little horns (that look like a WE22 to me) shown in the video to mount and load the WE 755a. So the 755a is in anther cabinet in the video? I realize you have a ton a really cool pieces and you’re trying to demonstrate them to everyone, which I definitely appreciate, perhaps a little more information would clarify exactly which piece is being demo’d, it’s easy when you say 757 or 753 or 15, 12, 13, or 16, they are well know entities, but a 755a like a 713b/c can be in a variety of boxes or horns. Just saying clarity of information keeps misconceptions at bay. Thanks for sharing your spectacular collection
The cabinet mounted a 755A is a type of WE 22A horn. Original WE22A is a huge horn, but mine is a small size for an 8" unit. I have built other types of cabit for 755A. They are not shown in this video.
Why?.. Sounds like from a box. What was used 80 years ago because of bad speakers is not what must be used now IMHO.
The all weather version of the 728b, is that a 731 compression driver on your mids? And an EMT turntable? You’ve got a pretty sick system, aka a great and thoughtfully put together. And 757s behind these, this is an awesome setup, I’m envious TBQH.

Danke für die Inspiration. Ich werde diesen Laudsprecher genau so aufbauen. Allerdings werde ich keinen WE755 dafür nehmen, sondern einen Isophon P2132A und als Hochtöner einen HM10. 소리가 하늘을 날아갑니다 요즘 이런 스피커가 자꾸 눈에 들어오네요 만들까 말까 생각중인데 쓸만한 풀레인지 유닛 구하기 쉽지 않네요
점점 상태 좋은 풀레인지가 줄어 들고는 있으나, 아직은 중고샵이나 빈티지 동호인들을 통해 구하실 수가 있으니 참고바랍니다.

You are right. It reproduces fantastic midrange sound. However, it's high and low sound isn't worse than mid.

Western Electric 755a에 가장 좋아하는 캐비닛 디자인이 있습니까?
WE 755A는 워낙 사운드 퀄라티가 좋아 웬만한 인클로저라면 좋운 소리를 내어 줍니다. 단단한 저음과 중음 위주의 응집된 사운드를 듣기 원하신다면 밀폐형이 좋고, 자연스런 저음과 청음공간을 채울만큼 풍성하고 부드러운 사운드를 원하신다면 혼형 인클로저가 좋을 것입니다.
KS-12046과 비슷한 크기와 모양으로 보이지만 포트 구멍이 있습니까?
포트 구멍은 없습니다. 약간 더 크게 만들고 자연스런 저음을 듣고 싶으시다면 뒷면에 포트 구멍을 설치하셔도 됩니다.
