The King Off-Road Racing Shocks IBP Internal Bypass feature allows a shock absorber to have two separate zones, each with their own compression and rebound valving shim stacks. For example, this setup would allow you to add a hydraulic bump stop to the top stroke of any King 2.5 shock or coilover.

Exactly! Curnutts technology finally surfaced!! The "bird cage" style used dif length rods to close holes in the piston to transition the compression

Can this be added to a preexisting 2.5 shock with the small shaft with external reservoir ?

How would this compare to the ADS built-in OEM bypass for the rear designed to give the Deaver k37 a greater travel than my current King OEM on my 2nd gen tundra?

so this style king shock also acts like a bump stop?

the non-red piston is valved to be extremely firm in the mid-high speed range to dramatically slow it down, which isn't normal for a king shock when there's only 1 piston.

Just don't bend that main piston shaft. That tapered rod will not mate up and the ride will become atrocious. LOL.
