    A good example of how boiler parts replacement can often turn into an expensive nightmare. We all diagnose the fault and quote to replace the part but very often you end up replacing multiple things at great cost to the customer. Enjoyable and honest video as usual, keep up the good work

      Thank you mate - that's just it, it's a process of elimination and sometimes you won't know if there's another failed component further down the sequence until you've fixed the one that's faulty first

    Great vid once again. Well explained and to the point. I like that you also give little tips and pointers along the way.

    Changing the one those pipes is a delicate job, as i know to my cost! Shame the PCB failed, it must have been an expensive fix with all the parts, boiler replacement may have been a cost effective solution.
    Great real life job as always, keep them coming.

      Did you crack the heat exchanger? I have done this trying to take those pipes out 🤭

    Would it not be less expensive to advise customer for fixed price repair from Vailliant?

    Nice video, Valiant are not what they used to be, a lot of internal damage on that boiler.

    You see a lot of these with the insulation damaged on the side panels, is it of much importance as long as its not around the front cover wont effect case seal?

    • @cputilitysolutions
      @cputilitysolutions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Main part that needs to be intact is the foam seal around the PCB housing 👍🏾

      Got ya. Are the sides mainly for heat insulation? Always wondered why they bother putting it in there

      @@Connor-ts8mk mainly for sound insulation I believe

    Surprised that you didn't move the pressure sensor to where the brass plug is at high level, it stops the muck blocking the sensor.
