I love this refresh!! They cleaned up the front and re arranged the infotainment system, that alone is huge win for me. Can’t wait to start seeing them in the United States!!
Ugliest car. The front end looks like a child with a lot of runny nose
I’m a big fan of Hyundai/Kia/Genesis. I had owned a 2016 Kia Sorento, then switched to a 2020 Kia Telluride, now I am driving a Kia 2022 Sorento PHEV, and last month I bought a pre-owned Hyundai Ioniq Plug in Hybrid. I can buy this facelifted Tucson in a heartbeat 😊
Interior is beautiful and very well done. Like the new front too. Bit disappointed they didn't relocate the turn signals higher at the very least and make them LED. The Sportage has them LED in the top trim and at the top where they belong. This new Tucson is still much better than rivals, especially the interior so it's still the class leader.
@Hyundai look into plz resolve the said issue.
I enjoy your approach to reviews.
Thank you for your very nice & clear presentation.❤
Nicer then a RAV 4......At Hyundai, designers seem to always find new and improved possibilities to their existing models....and I like the fact that they do these impruvements early on and not wait years and years.
Good video. Covers the important parts in the decision making process.
Thank you for your time well done 👍 🌹
I love it !!! It looks awesome ! Thank you very much.
I love your reviews and as usual this was great.
Thanks!
Hello Mari , I quite like the N Line good presentation thank you .
I currently drive the 22 Tucson and really like the updates of the 25 model year. The interior and paint colour of that N-line looks awesome but I prefer the face of the hybrid.
I have the 22 Tucson... I'm digging the updates especially the storage spaces
Wonderful Review of an amazing Car. I love the N-Line Hybrid and now it has an Head Up Display so i will buy it next Year if God helps me. Thanks for this Review. Misses Mari Cho is a very good Reviewer. She has an normal Opinion and you can trust her taste! Thanks a lot.
It's barely 2024 yet and they've already introduced the 2025 model. Impressive 😂
This is such an awesome upgrade for 2025. The N Line looks amazing and the interior looks so good on it as well. What a upgrade and vehicle this is going to be!
I have a 2022 Tucson Hybrid Ultimate AWD and love it! I love the changes in the 2025 Tucson even if they are subtle on the outside, but I'm really loving the new interior.🥰
I always appreciate a reviewer that is willing to admit when they don't like some part of a vehicle they're showcasing
I think the N-Line here is the hybrid powertrain, so a 6 speed regular gear. Very similar to the Elantra refresh - tweaked here and there enough to quickly see it is "different enough" to cue people to not wait for the next generation, or to pique current owners (perhaps under a lease) confidence that it will feel like a new vehicle, should they want to just continue on but not want to feel nothing has changed - sort of the, "well would a different color this round be enough for everyone to see I have a new car". The interior being brought up to be more like the latest new models is a good idea.
Exterior still looks kind of the same for me. But the interior is where the changes are welcomed, I love the new interior. Although, as mentioned by the presenter, the models start to look the same, I love it! Maybe it is a cost saving exercise by Hyundai to have a standard interior with their models....
Gonna be honest, I expected a bigger exterior change, but as minor a change it is, is probably very telling of sales figures.
You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.... if the current Tucson is selling like hotcakes you don't want to completely redesign your biggest seller.
The exterior is fine, but the infotainment controls hindered its sells on the upper trims.
Mari, you are so beautiful and classy! I love your reviews. I am patiently waiting for the GV80 coupe to arrive in the US for my next purchase!
Have had hyundai vehicles since 2007 veracruz. Have the 2022 limited tucson. I love it. Best options out there for the price. I wanted a santa cruise, but options weren't as good. Wish the cup holders were better sized for larger cups. Love the blue link app !!! The only change I would like to see is when you climate start if car isn't locked it fails. I think it should automatically lock doors and start. Wish they would make palisade a hybrid. Loved mine. Would get another one if they did. Love the new santa fe !!! About time !!!
Thanks, Mari. 🙂
I enjoy your videos because you aren’t a shill for the car companies. You point out what you don’t like as a consumer would.
Have had 6 Hyundais over the last 5 years, (myself 2, for business, my wife 3, one totaled, one traded, one for business and my daughters. Love them all even after upgrading to a nicer ones. I am preparing to trade my 22 Palisade because I no longer need a larger SUV, want a hybrid like my wife's Sonata. Was looking to buy a 24 Tuscon N line hybrid but after watching this I may wait for the 2025's.
preferred the previous nose, waiting for delivery of 2024, do all models have updated dash ???? thanks
As an owner of the 2023 Tucson Hybrid I think this is a smart design.
After seeing what happened to the Kona, Sonata & Santa Fe, I really thought Hyundai was going to make the new Tucson more blocky with a light bar LED across the nose.
I'm glad it's just a mild change from the current Tucson instead of a complete redesign. It still has "the look" of the current Tucson, but is different nonetheless. The redesign on the interior is perfect.
I would be all over the 2025 Tucson if I didn't already have the 2023 Tucson... it looks like the perfect follow-up for the current Tucson.
It's always a pleasure to watch your reviews.
What I still don't like is the rear design. Big lights there, but the turning signal is on the bottom? C'mon.
I recently took a 2023 Ultimate Plug-In and enjoying it. But, all the things I dont like in the front dashboard area area are all fixed in 2025. I hope I can trade-in for the 2025 model later. I like that they gave more physical buttons and the gear shifter is a Big YES for me! I like the extra storage on the front dash + the center console area and also the screens and ofcourse, USB-C ports that are completely missing in my 2023 model year. Everything that I was looking for is there in this car! Great job, hope I can swap for this one in 2025.
Love this car
She is stunning
Truly is
No facelift needed!
Much cleaner design 😊 fantastic review
I was looking to buy a Hyundai Tucson, but I saw the previous model Infotainment system and I automatically said no.
Now that they fixed the Infotainment, with more PHYSICAL BUTTONS, it is much better. The front fascia is a slight improvement and the hybrid still gets great gas mileage.
Finally, they are using the electronic shift lever for Park, Reverse, Drive, and Neutral, which is excellent.
I just need to play around with the "touch" buttons and see if they are usable and get a feel for the DCT transmission to see if that is satisfactory.
Looking forward to it.
I really don’t get the fuss about physical buttons when EVs vehicles like Tesla, don’t even have buttons and people still buys them. Probably a generation thing. Many Millennials and Gen Z buyers will not have a problem with it.
Are you in Europe? We don't get any DCT powertrains on the Tucson in North America.
@@JT-fq2bl No, video said DCT so I assumed that is what all models were.
@jraheemjefcoat429 Having a 22 Limited Edition I can tell you that the Voice Command feature can do everything from setting cabin temperature, tuning the radio, cakling or texting someone from your cell. In addition, radio controls are on the steering wheel. Buttons are overrated.
I like it. Looks very sleek.
I have a 2023 PHEV and this re-organization of the front cabin is the exact and the only thing that was lacking ( at-least I feel it that way ) from then newer version. I’m hoping that here in Canada, in 2025, car prices and interest rates don’t go through the roof 😂
i love the new design
HVAC controls should purely be physical buttons! Other than that, I love what Hyundai nas done with the refresh!!
Agree. It's the only thing that gets me really mad in recent Hyundai models.
Greetings from Europe, from the Czech Republic. Nice introduction of the new version, you are doing your job very well and I am determined to order one car after it will be available in Europe.
Like your review and also like you, too. Want to have one soon!!!!!❤
This is now the best car in the segment. I recall seeing the previous version and loving everything but the odd screen with piano black, lack of knobs and front pointy look.. they changed exactly the same..
Great job Hyundai 👏 👍
Turn signals low in the rear bumper is still a garage design element. Hi Mari! 😊
Not much difference but still a nice car overall. Especially the N line version.
I’ love tucson 2025😮
I wish they offered a ultimate/signature version or trim w/ all the options the Korean market would get. I'm sure the US market will be missing a few of these features for cost cutting.
WoW LOVE NLine , waiting for prices!
They needed to make the rear turning signals LED. The Sonata, Sante Fe, Palisade etc have LED lighting for the turning signals
very amazing
Interior looks much better than current model!
its not true iprefer the 2023 n 2022 model they mix the kona on this so nothing new i prefer the OG specially the push button automatic gear box
i prefer n-line, and i LOVE those VENTILATED ALCANTARA SEATS... best combo ever, and i think hyundai is the pnly one doing it.... interior with more buttons is nice. a LOT of storage, nice UI graphics, i love blindspot camera view on the screens.... but what about rear turn signals? still down there in the rear bumper? that would be my only gripe after FL....
They're usually not ventilated in the N-Line. They're only perforated seats bc they reserve the ventilated feature for the Limited model
@@NileshR12 depends on the market.... 👍
Hyundai Tucson facelift 2024 🤔.
That facelift update looks good!. 👍🏼😉😍
Yes 👏🏿 😊
I hope they've fixed the headlights. I've driven the pre-facelift with LED headlights and they're awful. The beam pattern is really bad and the output is slightly better than halogen headlights, just with a white colour because they're LEDs. On a rainy night you can't tell the lights are even on.
I have a 2024 and love it
I have a 2024 Tucson Limited, Portifino gray with black interior, very much enjoy it. One design element update, that I would like to have rear turn signal moved up into regular taillight area.
@@tapper701 I have the exact same Tucson, only it’s a 2023. I have only had it about 7 months. Absolutely love it!
I researched other vehicles in this class. They are good, but Tucson, IMO, surpassed all of them. Have had mine for 4 months and am very impressed with it.@@Ricky-mo6mv
Is it known if there will be some change on the headlight system? At least on the european models the full LED headlights are not that great at all. I was hoping for the matrix headlights, at least as an option (The current Kia Sportage has them).
Yeah, I'm not sure why EU gets reflector headlights, while US and SK get better projectors. Definitely disappointed me when I found out they weren't projectors.
@@ishaansaral502 I live in the US, so my Tucson Limited has the projector LED headlights. I must report that they aren’t all that spectacular. Probably the dimmest headlights I have had on any vehicle. They cut off quite low as well. However, when the high beams are on, I don’t have any complaints even though I barely ever use them. 😉
There will be not anymore halogen in europe. Full led or matrix
The refresh face is awesome. But me personally i prefer the previous version infotainment system with the push gear setup.
Push button shifter is a pain. Believe me.
之前不喜歡後方向燈的位置,太低了,不知道這代後方向燈長怎麼樣?
Have they moved the rear indicators to the safer eye level, or are they still dragging along the road? You demonstrated the front indicators, but not the rear.
Still draggin' along the road. And just got even lower :-(
Led change out helped. This design is on other models too. Dumb!!
I just ordered 2024 Ultimate. Seeing interior of this one, I feel like cancelling it 😢
the interior is a huge upgrade
so much better facelift than previous one
Hermoso
She cracks me up when she points to something the circular motion for everything. lol
Are all the powertrain options going to be the same? I've been considering a tucson but I just can't persuade myself into buying a turbocharged engine or a hybrid that can't run without batteries, because of their unreliability. I'd love to hear engine reliability reports from you guys.
PT and HP are unfortunately changed. In case of GAS there is not anymore low and high pwr. It will be unified
I heard dct are not as reliable compare to a normal automatic transmission…? Can anyone help why. ?
I own a 2022 Tucson NLine, and like the new 2025 NLine Grille Face... But hoping it will come STD with a Heated Steering Wheel. Don't care for the new bowed Dash. Also, the 187 HP Gas Engine is really under powered, the NLine should come with at least a 250 HP Gas Engine, and for better handling: Wider Tires 60x19". This is suppose to be the performance version - right?
Lol Australia only just getting the 2024 model now and they got 2025 models lol I want the 2025 😅
I still like the current Tucson’s headlamps ✌️
Hyundai never fails to disappoint.
The interior updates are nice. I was hope that the rear tail lamps would be redone. I don't care for the reverse and turn signal lamps mounted so low.
big safety hazard and (now after they fixed the interior) my only dealbreaker to even think about this car....
Kind of cool.
Does it have ambient light like led strips for the interior?
not really
I LOVE HYUNDAİ
I hope the 2025 Santa Cruz will have this same interior in the N-Line trim
TBH I did love the interior of the old one because it was kind of smooth but the overall lifting is quite good :)
I’m disappointed in the new front face. The current version was cohesive with the shape of the grill area and the lights. They just kept the grill shape and modified the shape of the lights but now they don’t really work together. If they had modified the shape of the grill to complement the new lights then that would be better,
Really? I have the 2023 Limited model, and I have been liking the refreshed front fascia and find that is more cohesive than the current. Haha! I wish I didn’t feel that way though.
I hope the redesign Tucson is a coupe
I'm a big fan of Hyundai But !!!! Did Hyundai fix the Oil consumption problem? When my wife's 2015 Santa Fe was having oil problems at 43,000 miles, In 2023 they finally helped us a little pay for a rebuilt Engine at 148,000 miles. Years of me adding 5 quarts evet 1,000 miles. I'm wanting the 2024--2025 Tucson but scared I'll have the same problem
Does it now have a sensor in front for park assist?
Yes!
@@MotorgraphWorld I already bought my new gen everest, but I was initially interested in the Tucson, but did not buy it because it does not have front sensor
This is close to zero difference on the exterior. I do see the subtle change on front as mentioned. However, where i see the most change is on the interior. The dash seems more well organized. This is hands down my favorite Hyundai of all time. My 22 Tucson Hybrids I mean. I'm looking at the 24 Santa Fe Limited Hybrid and will likely buy one. They're 45,800 and very well equipped. However the MPG is only 33ish compared to 37 on the Tucson. I also worry the Santa Fe might be a real sluggish car with the same power train as the much lighter Tucson.
🙆🙈🙈😘😘😍😍my teddy the normal Tucson is 🙈🙈
Very nice but what scared me is if you knock the drive selector (neutral, drive, park, reverse) when turning wheel while moving, imagine going 60mph forwards an knocking into park or reverse while turning wheel 🫣
does it fold side mirror?
Yes
Kiedy samochód będzie w sprzedaży w Polsce? Jakie ceny będą?
Przepraszam. Obecnie nie ma żadnych informacji.
Any ambient lighting?
very subtle
No, only mood lamp (door trim, wireless tray, floor console tray)
Seat memory with mirrors or without?
Without
@@MotorgraphWorld :(
With memory mirrors in europe. Trust me
@@Creativess90 If that's true then it's sold.
No interior lights 😢
Do we know if the f/l will have manual transmission?
Not really
In europe yes
I got the 2022 Tuscon plug-in, and the front seats are horrible!
They get so uncomfy at longer trips, the neck rest is useless ;(
I will probably go with the rav4 or Skoda superb for my next car
روعة
me gusta mas el anterior
it has plenty from n-line version
How much is the price for the vehicle
The price starts at 27,710,000 KRW in S. Korea (= 20,240 USD)
I like the panoramic sunroof, but absolutely do not like a dark and black or depression gray interior. I want light or earth tone interior and a light headliner.
I also noticed no the glove box wasn't lined. That mean anything you put in t hem will be constantly rattling around as you drive. In addition, I don't like cars with open cup holders with no cover so that lint and dust collects inside when not in use.
Anyway , the grill is a little too busy, and so are the too many creases and folds in the door and fenders. It too much for me. I'd erase 50% of everything.
i prepare the 2023 model inside
Pity they still don't have a spare tire in the hybrid. The Sportage hybrid manages to fit one under the floor. Not even available as an option on the 2024.
You CAN get an aftermarket spare tire/jack & it WILL fit under the floor just like the Sportage. I have a friend that did this very thing on his 2024 Tuscon; the cheap styrofoam divider block pops right out in 1 piece & allows his spare to fit just fine. He just kept the divider in his garage so it can be put back in if/when the next owner wants it.
And DEFINITELY count me in on someone that is very happy on the climate/infotainment redesign; some of us have a really hard time with touch controls (on pretty much anything) due to issues with our fingertips/skin, so this is welcome news - particularly since I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on a 2024. I can easily wait a few months for the (better) design.
Nice review. Were you friends with Asian Petrolhead? Just wondering if anybody knows how he's doing.
Same, always enjoyed Charlie's reviews !
the rear signals of this car are too low and when you approach the vehicle you can't see that it is signaling... how is it allowed to be on the road? Also, if there is a small touch on the bumper, the signal lights will also break, unnecessary expense Why don't they think about it?
Very that !
We love the side profile because it has personality in a world of boring design.
Same here! Looks great to my eye. Especially when the light hits it from certain angles and the design really flows and looks amazing.
Great job. These vehicles are actually a big deal for Hyundai. I'll challenge anyone to show me an interior like this on another name brand. Furthermore, price and warranty is a big deal. You don't have to be a DINK to own this vehicle. Ty!
