I like that they "tweaked" the front end as it didn't need anything major as it looked great already. The interior is a major upgrade, nothing wrong with that😎
Many seem to agree on many things with this Tucson facelift :)
I do like this minor refresh. I have a 2023 and I love it. Very glad Hyundai did not turn it into a “mini” Santa Fe. LOL 😂
WOW it’s so beautiful can’t wait to buy one
Glad you like it! 👍
I am glad that they facelifted this car so quickly. Now it fits well within the new lineup. The interior and tech suite is a huge upgrade, and I am glad Hyundai is taking practicality so seriously. Also the safety and NVH improvements are welcome, though it is funny that the current Tucson is already the quietest car in its class, so this will further make it more luxurious. Also glad they improved rear indicators, though they could have made them LED like the Sportage for sure. Overall, great facelift that will keep it as the class leader.
Detailed comment, yet another review :)
Damn looks so good. I can't wait!
the only thing i kind of hate is the piano black on the arm rest area. I'm not 100% against piano black. just don't put it anywhere I would touch because it's a fingerprint magnet
Very welcome update, as Interior was what puted down current Tucson the most, mainly that messy touch panel.
Couldn’t agree more.
I love the refresh
My only gripe and deal breaker are the rear turn signals at the bottom on the rear bumper. Only if they had integrated the turn signals into the tail lamps in this refresh it would have been wonderful.
At least it got a little bigger 😢
And wish it was LED
@@Xstream718than change it to led yourself instead of wishing
@@lol-ge9bh or you can place bluetooth bicycle turning lights behind the tail door, where everyone can see them.
Or you can choose another car instead that doesn't have stupid design flaws. 😂
Actually, those new bluish DRL lights on the edges of the front grille fit very well, stylish!.🤔 Wow.👍🏼👌🏼😉
😎
Love the column shifter!
I love it!
Nice video. Curious about the fingerprint reader. The 360 video is amazing
It's the same tech used in other Hyundai as well, you can input your fingerprint and can drive the car without a key.
This convinced me to get the new n- line when it comes to the US I hope thar it comes in that amazing gun metal gray
I hope this type model comes to the UK. Hyundai step up to the UK.
Exceptional review, the best so far for new Tucson 24 facelift model. I love the new interior, but exterior I don't like piano black on the back bumper it will be finger print and dirt magnet. Regards from Poland.
Thanks for the comment, I'm humbled! The piano black is constantly getting upgrades, becoming more durable, resistant, catching up with the market demand! 🇵🇱
so much better in my opinion
Agreed! 💯
I rented a 2023 Tucson hybrid. Loved the car. Hated the touch radio controls. It was very difficult to adjust the volume while in traffic. Looks like this has been changed in 2025. VERY GLAD to see them fix that! ty for the video!
Completely with you on that.
Hello! Really great vid :) just one question: Will the regular model (not hybrid nor N-line) have a panoramic sunroof and spare tyre? Thanks!
Pano sunroof is available on all models. Domestic HMG cars didn't get spare tires for some time now, overseas market vary.
Hi carscene, is the new 2025
N-Line S hybrid plug-in get 360 camera and turning signal camera on dashboard.
And reduce noise level in cabin improvement.
I have a 2022 n-line S and road noise on motorway is too much. 🇬🇧 uk.
Is recording camera coming with on-line S hybrid plug-in.?
Korea never got PHEVs, so I cannot tell you for certain, but all the tech you've listed are available on Tucson as you've seen. However, despite the availability, each market gets different options and trims, so it'd depend on Hyundai UK. The noise level has been improved thanks to better NVH, but not all that greatly though.
Initially I was thinking this will be some cosmetic facelift, but getting to know more and more about it I realize this is indeed a proper facelift. One thing I saw, and you didn't mention was that there are 3 levels of adjustable regen braking on the hybrid, which is something I really wanted to have on mine 2022 Hybrid... Overall, I am really happy and can't wait to see if the EU version will get all these upgrades as well, and to see it in person, to test it and... I might replace mine for a 2024 one, we'll see :)
One question: Did you happen to check whether the headlights will have adaptive(matrix) option? I saw something in the brochure, but there weren't many details written to be sure what it's all about. Thank you!
This is what I love about running this channel, I learn and enrich the content together with my viewers :) Thanks for letting me know, I honestly didn't know about the regen level on hybrid models since I've never driven one. I shall soon be test driving the FL Tucson at the end of the month, I will check out on those matrix lights for certain. The interior is definitely an all-new :)
Would’ve loved if . . . . gave tucson a digital IRVM.
My concern is the defrost vents on the A pillar, if someone wants to have a custom sq setup would be difficult to make pods in those pillars.
Your videos are excellent and I like this new Tucson. One thing would be very helpful for us in the US is to help us understand if and why certain features you cover for the Korean models don't make it to the US market. For example, Built-in Camera - I don't think thats available in the US models and I am sure we are all wondering why. Also, the new Santa Fe arrived here without the metallic treatment on the rear pillars. Since you seem connected to the factory it would be great to hear why these are omitted here in USA. Thanks.
I love your channel in the USA...do you think the Santa Cruz pick up truck will get the update as the Cruz in 2025 ? 😮😊
I don't have any set info on that yet, but interior change does look promising seeing what Hyundai's done to Tucson facelift. Thanks for watching from the US!
It’s good looking. SUV. I love it 🥰
Right on!
I pre-ordered the Hybrid in Australia a few weeks ago before the reveal. We didn’t have the Hybrid with the current model. I’m really excited about the new Tucson. I thought I would go N-Line, but now I might just go normal Tucson as the wheels of the Hybrid look really good. Still about 6 months wait time for us.
Not too bad, although I know that wait just kills you. Congrats!
Thats amazing I am also keen for this. Jist wondering how much it cost you, as I am thinking of cancelling my rav4 pre order because looked outright boring compared to this one. Thanks
No idea, but new model will probably be more expensive and a few more dollars on top for Hybrid. I got my RAV4 Hybrid, but can’t wait to upgrade to the Tucson.
9:30 That's something new there!
Not sure 100% here, but that's mostly where Built-in cam related stuff is.
Great video! Mild-hybrid diesel is also expected?
There is no diesel hybrid with Tucson 🥲
Honestly, i like the pre facelift's front facia more but the interior is excellent. Hyundai is uniting their designs like luxury brans and enhancing safety & quietness . Good review at the same place of Elantra's facelift 😂❤
On point! This is Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul :)
@@CarSceneKorea Such a great studio with that slanted floating cars :)
Really….you life the pre facelift facia better? How so? I was liking the new more angular and aggressive look. Particularly with the headlight housings squared off. I have a 2023 Limited, and the one thing I’m feeling jealous of is the front redesign. 😖
Car's design or any design is something objective, what I like you might not & what you like I might not. So try to be more accepting for others' opinions. & What should you really be jealous of is the interior changes as this's the major change @@Ricky-mo6mv
Is it same dry DCT transmission because clutches not good after sometime and heat inside city
It is the 7spd dry DCT we've seen before, but it seems to be domestic Korean models. If your Tucson got automatics before, you will probably get those.
By far the best car now in this super competitive segment. Test drove a Crv, now going to test drive this beauty
Won't let you down!
Will the 2025 N-line hybrid come with 18" wheels and FWD? 2024 N-line is only available in 19" and Awd in the US, which leads to crappy mpg compared to Rav4 and CRV
I am curious how the center console looks on a new Tucson facelift manual transmission. I couldn't find any pics online
Can't find one either 🥲
I hope this car in the Brazil still in 2024
I wonder if the Santa Cruz will receive the same facelift. I'd certainly consider it an improvement, however I saw a concept render of a Santa Cruz made to look more like the new Santa Fe with a very boxy, retro-pickup aesthetic and I thought it looked incredibly cool.
Basically, the first automaker to design a retro/boxy small pickup will get my money
Curious about Santa Cruz as well!
I think it's good that this model doesn't feature the 'horizon' light bar. That aesthetic is exciting at first, but it might not age very well as it's extremely simplistic and other manufacturers can easily justify using the exact same language on their own models (some already do with taillights). Some variety is healthy moving foreward
Agreed! 💯 Doesn't have to be all Seamless Horizon Lamp, it's "Hyundai Look" after all.
Hi. Could you please verify/confirm if the diesel variant for the regular tucson (not the nline nor the hybrid) has a turbo capability. In the catalog, the word turbo is right next to the smartstream gas, but it's nowhere to be found on smartstream diesel classification.
Not sure what you mean by this precisely. All diesel engines are turbos essentially.
What I meant was the word TURBO was specified in the gas section (on the catalogue), but it's not specifically indicated for the diesel.
Are you saying that all smartstream diesels have turbo while gas variants have a turbo and a non-turbo trim?@@CarSceneKorea
Yes, the petrol engine is turbo'd, 1.6T Diesel engines is just diesel. Still not getting the question, sry.
Is there digital back mirror? What about interior ambient lights?
I don't think there is the Digital Center Mirror. Will check on the next review later this month, plus the ambient lights.
This the future.only when the batterij is big enough and QuickTime loading.
This addresses every way the current model lags behind its competition. I'm in the middle of buying a new family suv, and I would absolutely be picking up the Tucson if this model was in the UK, but alas the current Tucson is not a better option than either the Nissan Qashqai or the Kia Sportage (which is basically already this exact car, but with a slightly less attractive exterior). Any idea when the new model will makes its way to the EU or UK?
Strong point. It typically takes about six months to reach other parts of the globe🥲
How much BHP does N Line and Hybrid produce? Looking forward to hearing back from you!!!!
There is no bhp difference in N-Line any more:
Prices are direct conversion from Korean Won price to US Dollars using the exchange rate of 1,320 won to 1 USD:

Is the door soft touch plastic on the second row or is it all hard touch plastic?
Will check on it on my next test drive! Happening at the end of this month.
For the current model, soft touch top and middle, and hard touch for the bottom like most cars.
I like it, but I think I prefer the exterior of 2024 N-Line. On the 2025, other than the badge, I feel like it doesn't stand out or differenciate itself enough in comparison to the other trim. Interior is beautiful though!
Hold your beer until I give ya a side-by-side with the earlier one! 😉
Make sure my beer is still ice cold! XD Looking forward to it!@@CarSceneKorea
is there a bose sound system for the models?
Yep! Sounds great!
I hope they have upgraded the headlamp's lumens. Its not so great in current model to drive on highways on highspeeds
Tucson facelift gets Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS), second car to get such next to IONIQ 6. This is crazy upgrade given the tech! Will cover it on my test drive.
This explains everything about it!
www.hyundaimotorgroup.com/story/CONT0000000000003757
I really wanted a Tucson but always hated the interior, I bought a 3.3T G70, yes entirely diff car haha, but with this refresh, once im done having my boy fun with the genesis, ill def pick up the new tuscon NLINE
Great choice!
Looks great. Unfortunately, my 10 year old car was starting to cause me big money in repairs so I traded it in and got the 2024 (calendar 2023) hybrid Tucson NLine. While I like it, it is not as modern as the 2024 Kona I got my daughter. Her NLINE Kona looks just like this next year Tucson. She has the nicer suede seats, USB-C, and two 12.3 inch screens, and gear shifter on the steering wheel. Plus she has the cool morse code H on the steering wheel. I missed out by a few months I guess!
Kona N-Line has legit Alcantara seats! You will see the red tag attached to them. Only N-Line that gets Alcantara based on what I've seen, including Sonata and Tucson.
@@CarSceneKorea yes. Your video shows styling is almost identical to my daughter’s 2024 Kona. My 2024 Tucson has the same styling as the 2023 model. Nice, but I like this latest facelift better.
Both great, but I'd pick Kona N-Line, my personal preference :P
Your information was really useful my friend, but just a doubt, do you know how much it will cost when launched to the market? Greetings 😉
It typically takes about six months to reach other parts of the globe 🥲Price varies on a market to another, please check with your local dealership. There is direct conversion in the description.
@@CarSceneKorea Great, so it’ll just depend on market to market. I saw the prices in the subtitles and the diesel model 2.0 says that will have a price from 20k to 28k, so is the 28k USD the top version?
Does the N line come with a hybrid model too?
The current models did, so most likely!
I'll rephrase my question. I'm planning to the 2.0 Smartstream Diesel (taken from the catalog ), is that turbo or not?
Yes, below is the engine spec, hope this is what you're looking for:
Smartstream D2.0 (D4HD)
The Smartstream D2.0 makes 186 PS (183 hp; 137 kW) at 4,000 rpm and 42.5 kg⋅m (307 lb⋅ft; 417 N⋅m) of torque between 2,000 and 2,750 rpm.
Smartstream D2.0 CRDi
1,998 cc (121.9 cu in) turbocharged I4
8-speed automatic
186 PS (137 kW; 183 hp) @ 4,000 rpm
42.5 kg⋅m (417 N⋅m; 307 lbf⋅ft) @ 2,000-2,750 rpm
9.2s (FWD)
9.4s (AWD)
201 km/h (125 mph)
@@CarSceneKorea Your first smartstream D2.0 (D4HD) with 186ps and 42.5 kg.m is what, petrol or diesel?
The second one with the CRDI is of course diesel, and is turbocharged like you mentioned.
The comment is referring to the same engine, 2.0 diesel used in this Tucson. Same one diesel engine, turbocharged.
@@CarSceneKorea Why is the first one with the D2.0 D4HD not turbocharged?
@@robertchavez2009 I think you should be asking Hyundai at this point. I've gathered and given you all the info I can source.
I'm in Vietnam, this Facelift is great but this version is unlikely to be assembled in Vietnam. If there is, it will probably go to 2025 and a lot of options will be cut.
Hi, does it have matrix lights?
Will find out in my test drive!
The update Santa Cruze will be getting this?
Not sure as Korea does not get Santa Cruz 🥲
Is it arriving to the mexican market? Greetings my friend! ✌️
Most likely if you got the pre-facelift model. This is the best selling Hyundai, so I think so.
@@CarSceneKorea We did get the pre-facelift model, as you said it became one of the best sellers here, so hopefully we also get this facelift. Thanks buddy! 😉
Will the N line in the US come with the 360 cam and the HUD?
That will depend on Hyundai USA.
@@CarSceneKorea I figured. From your perspective why does Hyundai/ Genesis remove a lot of features here in the USA?.
@@CarSceneKorea like for instance my 22 g70 sport prestige doesn’t come with the full digital dash. It drives me crazy that we don’t get the 3d cluster. Also the n/ n line models look great but done come with any of the nice features that the limited models do. I wish they would offer a n line limited trim.
I do not have the answer to that, but Hyundai Korea and USA are completely different entities almost.
Will they announce a change for the Kia Sportage also for 2025 according to you too?
There will be Sportage facelift, of course.
@@CarSceneKorea do you know when ?
The only thing I can tell you is when I spot one 🥲
Interior is so much better then before. Did NOT like the touch capacitive buttons at all.
Y no habrá una versión PHEV?
Al menos no para Corea.
Also what are the complete colors for diesel regular tucson?
That would vary from a country to another, extra/less colors are available depending on regions. Colors I've listed in the comment and description are what's available for domestic Korean market at the moment.
Diesel doesn't have turbo, even if it's smartstream?? It's only for gas and hybrid?
Details will vary for markets, so I can't precisely answer this. I can tell you about Korean specs if you want.
Will the PHEV version get more autonomy?
Nope, but will drive a bit different due to the nature being with the motor
@@CarSceneKoreawhat that means?, I thought the motor was the same that last year
Do you speak Spanish also?
English and Korean only. Korea never got PHEV, so I don't know specs about that unfortunately 🥲
Facelifts deserve more than this, especially if the predecessor is already a nice car to look at.
Interior is almost an all-new ;)
@@CarSceneKorea interior looks beautiful but the exterior is basically the same 😢
Quite subtle yeah, but some will notice it ;)
i'm glad i held off. When can i get this in the States?????????
It usually takes about half a year to reach other parts of the globe 🥲
Have dates been released for the US when they will be sold
It usually takes about half a year to reach other parts of the globe 🥲
@@CarSceneKorea thank you. I got a lease up in 2025 so I’m closing between the Tuscan and Santa Fe
when is it coming to the us?
It typically takes about six months to reach other parts of the globe🥲
What about manual transmission?
It's gonna be available?
That'd depend on the market. It's been sometime since Korea discontinued manuals on these cars.
@@CarSceneKorea
Thanks,i didn't know that.
In Europe was always available with manual transmission.
I was curious about interior.
@@CarSceneKorea
Are you gonna test the new KGM (Ssangyong) Rexton ?
What's the impression in Korea about this brand?
I think it's a solid car,and the facelift of Rexton it's very nice.
It's appreciated in Europe but it's a niche brand.
KGM(SsangYong) definitely has their own fans who love for what they are, the brand, ride, cars, looks and everything. Although they are not big in numbers, KGM definitely has hardcore fans.
Manuals mostly are always base, basic trims with stripped down options such as fabric seats and all.
For a second, I thought Harry Kim was reviewing the Tucson. Maybe they finally promoted him from being an ensign?
I had to look him up 🤣 Thanks for the comment.
We have just entered 2024..And Hyundai be like - "WE HaVE a NeW 2025 DesIGN ReADY!!"
Sorry pal, just the way of cars being labeled here in Korea.
I’ve liked this generation Tucson since it was introduced. I just wish that I could get a light colored interior. I HATE black!
Loved that white/tan interior, too!
👍
wireless AA on all trims?
Most likely, I haven't met a base trim just yet, but if equipped with ccNC, it should be.
@@CarSceneKorea historically base trim does have wireless AA but no wireless charging. Vice versa on upper trims.
The N Line color is gorgeous i wish the N line got over 300HP
Another whole vid on N-Line coming up soon, no power diff unfortunately 🥲
How much will be cost in Ukraine? Thanks for video
That will depend on the market when it arrives. Korean price in the description, direct conversion.
So are the updated Tucsons and Santa Fes going to offer the HUD on hybrids in the US? They did not previously.
The best I can show you at the moment is that it is available for domestic Korean spec.
Why did they not put the rear turn signal lights higher? It’s so low drivers can miss it easily. Big flaw! What were they thinking?!
At least it's gotten slightly bigger 🥲
Yea it sucks! And again… it’s not LED 🤦🏻♂️
Tucson can easily transform into a proper coupé
Lower it, a bit more slanted front windshield, 2 doors and that’s it! 😱
👍👍👍
I hope that Hyundai will let us get ventilated front seats in the Tucson Hybrid N-Line for 2025 & not just keep that feature for the Limited trim
Which region?
I really like the Tucson, and this one seems fantastic. However, I do not understand why Hyundai persists in placing the rear indicators on the ground. Whilst ever the indicators remain in a position that todays less attentive drivers are likely to notice, the Tucson will lose to a competitor when it comes to drivers who value safety. This is far more important than the ridiculous speed limit detecting equipment.
True. Perhaps on the next all-new model.
@@CarSceneKorea I note that Kia have already addressed this on both the Sportage, and Sorento models. I guess that there is hope that Hyundai will eventually correct this on their own offerings.
Biggest issue I have is now it will be very tough to tell the Tucson from the Santa Cruz coming down the road. Right now you have 4 rows on the Tucson and 3 on the Santa Cruz. Now they will both have 3 rows of DRL. Unless they're going to change the front of the Cruz at the same time.
I like the update, probably because it's much like my current Santa Cruz. I like the interior update too. Now, if they actually bring the wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay... Cool. It's been the biggest complaint about the premium infotainment systems for years now, losing a base model feature because of navigation.
It does come with ccNC, so even if it's not available atm, it eventually will be(AA & CarPlay).
Interion dash looks like a table where you have put your tablets. If you present both Tucson exterior designs to sb for the first time, I bet he will choose the old one as better looking. In any case, the facelift is not an upgrade at all, let alone the turning tail lights that have been lowered even more.
I was waiting for this car, but no more.
You've got a point. The interior is clearly an upgrade though.
@@CarSceneKorea It may be more practical due to physical buttons and bigger screens, but it's uglier for sure.
I don't think we will get all these features in.europe. I own 2022 model and thinking to upgrade on this facelift now
Bummer. Hyundai should introduce this to world!
Drop me off one in the US 😭
It still boggles my mind as to how/why people would opt to get the CR-V or RAV-4 over this with its exceptional design and tech. The default answer is the expectation of greater reliability, but who would even want to be in those already archaic vehicles for more than 3-5 years? I can’t even stand to be inside them for like 10 minutes tops.
Brand dose take a long time to establish indeed, but Hyundai, Kia and Genesis definitely have come a very long way!
@@CarSceneKorea Yeah, the word around town is that Genesis isn’t all that reliable either. I think we lose sight of how every manufacturer has produced some not so wonderful vehicles in the past or present. I’m kind of feeling that the current generations of Hyundai/KIA vehicles will be the ones to boost their reputation. Fingers crossed 🤞
They certainly have the most dynamic designs and offer top quality interiors with loads of beneficial technology.
Everything great
Just the fact that hyundai didn’t add rear sunshades
Gues its only reserved for creta
Creta gets them!? 👀
@@CarSceneKorea yes
In india creta has sunshades
Hopefully in next Tucson then :P
Only thing to complain would be the piano black parts inside. They are scratch magnets and will look awful really soon
Indeed. At least they are constantly getting upgrades somewhat 😅
Süper 🤌
🤌🤌
If they are of the same engine with same diesel, then why did you have to make separate paragraphs in your most recent explanation?????
I simply listed the engine spec available for this facelift.
(rear) lights indicators so low are UNSAFE and needs to go KIA and Hyundai!
G Wagon has entered the chat 😎
Going back to this i wish the engine was at least a 2.5 turbo 8 speed. The pre-face lift tucson has a 2.5 in line with 8 speed. A 1.6 6 speed is a downgrade.
Wow cars 🚗 😳 😍 😕 Hyundai Tucson n line 😳 😐 😑 😒
Tell me about it :)
I’ve just purchased my new Hyundai 2023 simply because it has the best dash integration I’ve ever seen which sets it apart from all other competitors!! Sadly this new model has just joined ranks and is extremely disappointing!! I cannot comprehend why Hyundai would step back after such an achievement!!
The dash looks sooo tacky and cheap!.. I like the grid update, however, If this promo video is true, I won’t be upgrading my new 2023 for this, Best feature is the camara recording function finally as standard!! But because the dash is so horrible I may go back to Rav4
Modelul anterior este mai frumos
Ce zici de interior?
@@CarSceneKorea la interior totul este ok mai puțin volanul
I hate that steering mounted shifter.
Care to elaborate? No sarcasm, just really curious. What'd be your choice if not the column type?
@@CarSceneKorea a lot of drivers hit their knee on it. Plus it's behind the steering wheel and not where you can see it easily. They were better off doing column mounted shifter where the windshield wiper stalk is.
It was never there at least from HMG. Perhaps you are mistaken with the Benz?
Still waiting for them to make an engine and transmission that isn't a POS.
This Tucson actually comes in a variety of transmission depending on the engine type. I will cover more in detail on my test drive.
@@CarSceneKorea Ours is the 2017 1.6L turbo and thus far at 80K miles it's on engine and transmission #2. I hope the newer ones are more reliable.
Transmission #2, that doesn't sound good 🥲
horrible location for rear turning lights... still ... sad
The interior is a major downgrade. That streering wheel doesnt match rugged car at all and center console looks cheap. Front facelift is a bomb tho
All identical steering wheels indeed.
I'm sorry but the camera movement gives me a headache
I shall try harder, pardon me. It's quite challenging doing everything on my own🥲
@@CarSceneKorea Don't beat yourself, you can try handheld stabilizer
Which is almost useless when filming and going over explanations on your own. You can never get interior review with that setup 😐
@@CarSceneKorea
Very bad version, such a shame, the 2021-23 version is the best, and the best-selling, the 2021-23 version's exterior and interior look like and are inspired by the Lamborghini Urus, so setback to the 2021-23 version!
I am an owner of a 2017 Tucson Sport and I am not interested in trading into this car. It simply is just plain boring.
Referring to the interior, I assume?
@@CarSceneKorea yes and I am already tired of the front and rear light design. The 1.6 turbo is also outdated. I think that I will move to a Rav 4.
N-Line interior sucks and so dark. No, thanks. I wish it'd had light color options as well.
N-Line design theme, it seems.
