Very Nice for me the best ZX Spectum I had was the 128K Toast rack I had a 48K rubber keyboard, Then I went to the Amiga A500. I use the ZX Spectrum and Amigas A1200 and the A 500+. My best game was Elite on the 128K, I know the sound chip only had three channels but this was a very big leap fron the 48K sound.

Nice one mate, this looks like a cool little Pi conversion! I think the only thing missing is a Competition Pro joystick with the Iceberg Lettuce mod 😉👍🏻

Something like this (despite the price) is good for those who aren't technically minded, or those who just don't have the patience to faff about getting all the components, games, emulator(s) etc and then trying to set it all up.
Im with you on this i aint got the patience to do that id rather just press buy and await the post lol

have a look at retro pi that has all diffrent emulators built into one os
640x256 4bits per pixel 16 colours = 80kb of video ram? thats more than the z80n can see no? 64kb 8bit processor

Im currently playing lotus esprit i dont think i played many car games on the spectrum apart from outrun

What i played back in the day was side scrollers i was a massive fan of the likes of roller coaster contact sam cruise skool daze manic minor etc i will take a look at some car games now you mention it

The sellers are making a big markup for what is a raspberry pi zero, case and 8gb memory card. All this costs ~£15. They are selling it for £42 with £12 postage, Rip-off! Good video though, subbed :)

You know that , ebay takes like 12% right away , then paypal also takes some if available , then if you want to be close to the top of the listings it another 7-10% percent fee for promotion, then VAT depending on what sort of company you have, Im selling a lot on ebay , and I find this price fair,

Hi Ruskie. I'm selling the product on ebay with 35 pounds. Because I'm from outside UK, I had to add the shipment costs. Because UK is not longer in UE, you have also to pay taxes like 7-9 pounds. I understand that you find the price is very high, but if you buy from UK, the Raspberry Pi Zero, case, 16GB micro SD card, OTG cable, mini HDMI cable to HDMI, power adaptor 1000mA and USB to micro USB cable for power adaptor, I believe you reach somewhere between 22-25 pounds. The difference from 22-25 pounds to 35 pounds is my work for optimizing the product. I do this as pure hobby and not as business. I believe everyone who loves ZX Spectrum and find this piece of equipment useful and he is not so in technical details, ZXBOX is an alternative! And yes, ebay is taking 2 pounds as fee. Looks interesting. Does it have the ability to 'save' your games midway, like the savestates on other Raspberry Pis?
Its a great device is does have a save function although im yet to test it

How does this compare to the..VEGA ?
I had a vega a few years back and didnt like it txt adventure games were a nightmare to play at least with this thing you can plug a keyboard into it the vegas output was rca this is lovely HD

Hmmm... that's fuse, so the Pi is using Linux under the hood... not the best option, now we have ZXBaremulator, it doesn't uses any OS, as it name implies is a bare metal emulator, it boots instantly like an spectrum and it's more faithful to the real speccy experience :)
Hi there. ZXBaremulator is indeed a great emulator and fast on boot. The only problem is that on Raspberry Pi Zero, the sound is not supported with ZXBaremulator. Regards
@@tudorschannel4487 Do you know if its supported on Raspberry PI 400? Any prebuilt OS? I also can't be bothered setting things up these days and love just downloading images blasting them on an SD card and booting up. I'd pay for that.

f10 then shutdown fuse or f3 whatever it is
