- I first heard about this via the awesome Retro Tech 100 FB group, and wow what a device. Ive always wanted a Spectrum Next, but never got as far as the kickstarter project because of money issues but this thing is cheap, its a small form factor clone, and wow is it good. Heres a video about it.

If you love the ZX Spectrum as much as I do, your going to love this
Glad you are enjoying it Paul.
Thanks to you guys with your wonderful service. Fast delivery amazingly packaged. Can't fault it. I'm not lucky enough to own a spectrum next but this thing is amazing. I've coupled it with a half size PS2 keyboard and mouse (with splitter). Wow
Great demo Paul! This looks awesome.
Thankyou Dan, it really means a lot to get a comment from yourself being a much bigger channel and yes the device is amazing. I'm still getting over this is full FPGA under £100
Just wish I could get a bit more views as people who are into the spectrum need to know about it lol
Great review Paul. Im deffo going to try that downloader later.
Thankyou appreciate it. Yep it comes preinstalled on the MicroSD card, wifi is easy to setup also.
Great video Paul
Thanks 👍it was going to be longer to demonstrate some of its other capabilities but life got in the way. I might make a part 2
Life Of Not Pi-Man part 2, make it happen. 😊
I bought a Sizif512 but this looks much more fun. Couple of questions. Can you use the mouse in Speccy games that have a mouse option and can you load Next games from a card that are used for commercial Next games?
I can test that but I think any application or game that supports kempston mouse will work. Any particular game in question, I can give it a test
@@paulisthebest3uk There's a Kempston mouse version of SIM City that looks very good. I went to buy an XberryPi and unfortunately it's still out of stock. Fingers crossed they'll be on sale again sooner rather than later.
Where do the games come from - or are they included? I'm looking forward to Terra Cresta and Highway Encounter!
Would have liked to see the BBC core.... are there any other cores? Amiga maybe?
Where do you get the wifi card from, please?
