There was even a rumor at my summer camp about a "black Yoshi" in that one obscure P-switch room in Donut ghost house that has basically nothing in it. It was always fun to speculate about things like that

Did you know that the begining area in the "Secret area" is actually the begining of the beta level in the game? The beta level is used as a placeholder in SMW's map.
It's funny that the intro used to show that no Yoshi's are allowed in the level is an unused cutscene left in the game by the localization team. This is a rom hack and nothing more. This level uses many unused elements that are impossible to use without some sort of level tampering.
There is a way to get more than 96 exit only in the japan version of the game, through a game glitch, The glitch is call getting the ? orb in reserve, Steal the coins that Yoshi eats near a clapping charging chuck, without getting hit by the chuck that Yoshi eats, after that go to bowser castle front door, and use the ? orb in there for 97 exits, it will only show 97 exit in blue if 96 show-up in blue before doing the glitch, There is a 50/50 chance it will corrupt your save files if done wrong
