      I couldn't agree more. English has a hideous syntax, gets all its fancy words from French, and has no identity really. It is so sad that Indians worship this language. It's fine if Indians want to learn English just like Germans and Persians do, fine, but Indians actually worship English. It's pathetic.@@rka-truthalwayswins5127

    Successive Chiefs of the Congress Party including Indira Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi used to go to the “Shahi Imam” of Delhi to plead for Muslim votes. So, it was Congress Party’s official policy. You cannot brush it out as though asking for Muslim votes was only by a few insignificant Congress Party members. This official policy of the Congress Party greatly helped BJP as many voters considered the Congress Party was partisan towards Muslims.

    Tolerance and Pluralism is the essence of the Indian Culture and Ethos, since time immemorial ! The sequence of events in the lndian History will amply testify to this historical fact ! It's also the very premise, upon which the Indian constitution was framed ! Bereft of it, India will lose its soul ! That's what the great Swami Vivekanandji had so meticulously articulated in the World Meet on Religions held in Chicago, USA in the year 1893, amid thunderous applause from the delegates gathered there from across the globe !

      @varun2250,
      Hello, 'allege your opinion' !
      How do you do !
      I am very highly amused !
      It seems - someone, who has lost the morale courage to speak directly, now finds it expedient to indulge in a soliloquy, instead - completely out of context ! How disgusting it looks !
      Have I mentioned anyone, any religion, or any political party in my narrative, herein above ! It's a figment of imagination of someone's mind ! The answer is very much implicit in the narrative, itself ! What's absolutely required is - proper application of mind ! However, it's an altogether different issue, if someone feigns ignorance intentionally ! How right was the great Lao Tzu in his assessment in saying - "The truth is not always beautiful nor beautiful words the truth !"
      Let it be known that I don't hold a brief for anyone and the least of all, a political party ! May someone hold it for others !
      To get optimum satisfaction as also to ascribe some semblance of authenticity to it, why don't someone put this question to one's own conscience ! Because, conscience never lies ; provided, ofcourse, someone has any !

    • @varun2250
      @varun2250 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@amarendraborah6941 Fair enough. But it would be hypocritical if you won't hold yourself of these above statements that you expect of others. Not that I'm saying you currently don't hold yourself to these values. I just don't have a way of knowing it.
      Also, thank you for alleging your opinion and thank you for the word salad part of your comment that somehow got generated for stating my opinion.

      What a strange equation, indeed, it is - blaming someone else so as to coverup one's own shortcomings/undoing !
      It's, infact, someone's meanness, narrow - mindedness, guilt - feeling, sheer frustration, pre - conceived/prejudiced mind, blurred vision, and negative mindset, which is speaking up now !
      ..What a rare coincidence it is - someone becoming the complainant, lawyer and judge, rolled into one, sitting on judgement, and, deciding one's own fate, with a view to corner the glory, by hook or by crook, even by cursing the counterpart, so as to coverup one's own shortcomings/undoing, having no other recourse left with one ! How farcical and hypocritical it looks !
      Why does someone is conspicuous in one's silence about the moot question ! Why does someone having second thought - when one's own conscience has come into question ! Has someone mortgaged one's own conscience somewhere else !
      How right was someone in his assessment in saying - "No one can wear two faces, one for oneself and the other for the people, for long, without getting bewildered - as to which is the real one !"
      Let it be very loud and clear that my comment was meant for the channel operator, alone ; and certainly not for one's foot soldiers and cronies ! Does someone hold a brief for the channel operator ! Or does it require someone's prior permission to participate in its various programmes ! If so, I am quite oblivious of it ! Can someone take pains to share it with the viewers in this august forum itself for their knowledge and information anytime soon or in the immediiate future ! Is that understood ! Someone should better understand it !
      I do hereby challenge someone to master the necessary courage/guts to come out of the veil of secrecy behind a pseudonym and reveal one's real face and true identity, without mincing any further word, and, without ever trying to dodge/deviate from giving a direct response ; and, share it with the viewers in this august forum itself for their knowledge and information anytime soon or in the immediiate future ; provided, ofcourse, someone is not otherwise a coward ! Is that understood ! Someone should better understand it !
      How right was William Shakespeare in his assessment in saying - "Cowards die many times before their death ; but the valiants never taste of death but once !"
      In this backdrop, there's no perceptible cause for any euphoria or jubilation for a self - proclaimed victory, which was not to be ! Perhaps, GOD only can save such shameless creatures !

    I am a middle class Indian. It is said that 100 People own the 90 percent of wealth. But there is a catch. These 100 people only have say 1 percent of their own wealth usable for their personal needs and say 99 percent is invested in business. So is it not different from the wealth of an individual who simply puts all his money in fixed deposit and lives on interest. The 100 people take risks for running their business and that gives employment and wealth to their employees as well. Their spending filters down to other small businesses. Nothing of the sort happens with the wealth of the other fixed deposit individual. And I don't include just Ambani's, Adanis, Tatas, Birlas but also others who invest in business for example in film industry as well because that gives employment. So we should I think want there not just 100 wealthy but given India's population 1 lakh filthy rich whose wealth is primarily invested in employment generating industry.
    If Tharoor or the anchor thinks the 100 richest is a problem- so what does he want there should not be industrialists who run business and become rich and that wealth should bevwith govt who cant run businesses competitively,! Then he says he wants investment in Kerala ,_ he is confused, he should want 1 lakh rich individuals who compete to invest - do you agree

    This is politics." Electoral autocracy" , the term, is a contradiction in terms. Whoever has coined the term has , perhaps, his own definition of democracy. People's representatives must rule decisively to bring about national development not like indecesive coalition s of yore in India. Was declaration of emergency in 1975, dismissing state governments at will, not electoral autocracy.

Having said that ALL states where the opposition is in power are welcoming Adani to do business there. So what do we have here? Your logic falls apart here as the basis of the same is the hate of one person and his party. This is neither democratic nor has the temper to accept the opposite voice.

    You forget the other side of it. Due to pluralism (time immemorial - you say), this land had fissures in politics. Rajas and maharajas kept fighting among themselves and when the invader came they were left to themselves. In modern times you needed the Constitution of India to come up with common minimum program or guidelines to bind the country and agree to a way of governance. Democracy beyond the constitution is no democracy. The will of the country is defined by the Government of the day at the center. Unless this acceptance is there, it will be anarchy. The collective will of the peopld needs to be respected.
