Presidential form of government is he best way to truly honor the democracy and freedom. Parliamentary form of government leads to corruption and lack of trust, fraud, bribery etc...
@Nom Nom 1) Corruption, fraud and scams have been done in presidential form of government too. 2) I don't agree Presidential system is the best way to truly honour the democracy and freedom. Strong Panchayat Raj (which is unfortunately not so strong today) is a better way to truly honour our democracy. 3) Presidential system needs electoral colleges which could have been a bad idea in 1950 when there were 15 states. Now we have 28 states + 9 UTs. If we had presidential form, every time a new state is created could lead to lot of agitation and violence for months together (presumably more than what we have seen in parliamentary system) over the issue of weightage attached to each state. 4) Finally, grass is always greener on the other side. Presidential system seems rosy but it also has its own disadvantages. There also, things move slowly due to frequent gridlocks. Dr.Tharoor says it's due to 2 party system in the U.S. However, even in a multi-party system like India, we would see more unethical things & horse trading, similar to today's Maharashtra politics. This is just my take on the perils of presidential system and NOT support for parliamentary system. The actual correction has to start with us. If the common people are moral, then they elect good politicians and naturally the efficiency of government is increased...

@@kishornair7027 that will be great if westerners became civilized, implying that westerners weren't actually civilized.
@Tënzil o_O LOL! That same US is afraid of China's growth as the next economic superpower...
There is only one civilization
I wish we had more politicians like Shashi Tharoor and are also as principled center as Shashi Tharoor. Such politicians would change india for great good.
Only if this person would be The Prime Minister someday 🎩
yes he would give sermons n how to flirt with your best friends wife then marry n murder her n feel nothing not a remorse about it
@@duckwalkerindian4689 your modi actually not just flirted with Mansi Soni. You know what he did with her?

Kudos 👍 👍
We get the politicians we deserve.
You always speak in a way that’s enjoyable to listen to!
Nice response to all those question that are issued by the member of that auditorium
He deserves more higher post then being just an MP
Lot to listen and learn from as always
It's such a shame that such great talent is not being taken advantage of, along the likes of Subramanian Swamy and Raghuram Rajan. And please help get rid of the parliamentary system; it's high time we end that idiocy.
So Honest words. Indian politicians.
One of the best talks .from an Indian politician ....
Sir. U r n inspiritnl 2 d yung yuth 2day...... Wanna hear ur voice evrytym (specially ur speach). Keep moving Sir. One among d billions Indians👍
U R the best so far
Now I have a question sir... How do you remember the "writings or quotes" of other writers or authors? This is amazing.. In this session itself you have quoted many names...including Mahatma.. How do you remember it? Sai is curious
From experience, we could say that something that we note down stays long in our memory.. because he writes, these quotes will surely be there..
Presidential form of government is he best way to truly honor the democracy and freedom.
Parliamentary form of government leads to corruption and lack of trust, fraud, bribery etc...
@Nom Nom
1) Corruption, fraud and scams have been done in presidential form of government too.
What a treat sir.
Defend the NORTHEAST AGAINST CAB 🙌
Shashi admits on how unwelcome new politicians are in Delhi. This exactly what Modiji was referring to when he spoke about the Lutyens gang and the khan market! Shashi only had taste of it much earlier
Best orator in the World #nextindianpm
