    Good idea for learning these shapes. Great video too, I'm going to get all of my students working on this video.

    Another great one Jim. I really enjoyed the sly smile at about 13:30 or so. It’s often the happy little accidents make good music great.

    thanks for this. it got me to realize that its very important to practice them backwards instead of forward all the time.

    yet another lesson that has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! This is a daily exercise for me now along with another one of yours (Major scale on A string with no open string in cycle of fourths). By implementing both exercises I can literally see, hear and feel my growth daily. It's awesome. Finding your channel has been the best thing for this new bass player. Thanks!!!

    This is a very good lesson. The little patterns that he suggests to do is a very logical approach. I like it.

    I'm still new, and trying to understand this. You're not changing any of the notes, right? Its just different patterns of A-C-D-E-G?
    Thanks for the great lessons!

    Just starting to learn at age 63. great lessons . great videos. I love your Motown bass Music.
    Just got a Ibanez Gio soundgear Bass, can you talk about compressors/suppressor/Gates, should I get one. any suggestions to a Good reasonable pedal or rack?

      @realbasslessons9356  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Glad the lessons are helping.
      I don't use any pedals or effects. I always work to get a good sound from my fingers, and a good quality bass. On the lessons, I use a bit of reverb, only occasionally.
