The person that made vargverse made most characters like falling father figures. A few characters like DIO and CJ have been edited include minor edits and vine trigger
Thundercock Bloodmoon was from his Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero stream, where he talked about how he wanted to play about some crazy monster instead of "just a dude." The "Come back when you get some balls" was from a text adventure game where the first option lets you not enter the cave the game is set in, which the game calls you out for your cowardice.
