Genius...this is so needed. There is no intelligent reason for why high heeled shoes should be so uncomfortable in most cases. Its absolutely a physics problem, and i'll be first in line to buy
They're idiots because I'm looking at her "heel" and it's got the same issue that most heels do that makes them hurt... where the heel of the foot is placed is at a steep angle. Stilettos that have a good balance between a flatter heel area (for your heel to take some of the pressure) with a good ratio to where the balls of the feet/metatarsals take pressure are actually very comfortable and can be worn all day. Those that don't allow your weight to be balanced between your heel and your metatarsals are very painful. I only found this out, as a consumer, when I purchased a pair of stiletto booties that looked similar to my favorite pair, with the same heel height. I couldn't see the inside of the bootie so I assumed they were similar and would be comfortable. Boy was I wrong. I could barely stand in them. I took them to a boot maker who adjusted what he could but said there was no way to fix the issue without creating a whole new bootie with different bases. He pointed the differences of my favorites to these off balance painful shoes. Ever since, I pay attention to the heel bed and I haven't had this issue. So, she won't be getting any of my shoe money because she's creating a stronger shoe, not a more comfortable shoe.
To Baisers: The problem must be the lack of padding or rubber in the insole. It is ironic, that you have the same height of heel as your comfortable favorite, yet, the new ones are painful.
Pretty cool to see engineering, science, and fashion all coming together to create a new definition, really, of what a high heel can (and should) be. Neat! I'll buy one in 10 years when the price is more reasonable ;)
About time! Now, they just need to tackle the toe-scrunching shape. I'm positive it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to do so without making it look like a Croc or a Toe Shoe. I've never seen any adult woman over 40 whose toes weren't contorted from years of wearing toe-scrunching heels. IMHO, it's not much better Chinese foot binding.
This is a great initiative, even though there are many who can't understand what women go through to be comfortable. It is an opportunity and I believe many women will be interested in buying as many of us work in very professional environment and like to feel confident. Good job, continue your amazing work and keep on wondering
Alara: The solution to comfort and professional dress does not take rocket science: For business, use the three inch heels which cover the feet; for casual, a two inch. For casual wear, you/she can don a flat high top shoes or sneakers with a showing a thick white ankle socks in a modest skirt in order to be comfortable, clean and look sexy. Do not wear those ugly black/dark low cut sneakers with the silly white sole at the base. I don't know why these women do this, for they are ugly.
now where will this be sold? seems like a great idea to me since a lot of women complain about high heels and i think pumps in particular being a pain after a few hours
wow!! this is a great idea. Actually you can find something similar and cheaper in order to make shoes like these, but this is super innovative. I really love it.
WNCBabyLady She said it will cost between $350 - $900, first model will be at higher price range. The next reiteration will be around $350 - affordable luxury category.
I’m pretty sure they were photographing shoes that weren’t theirs...... because lasting a pair of shoes on that would be more difficult than just designing the base
TheWoodfinger yes. it was the men who first wore heels, not women. they aristocratic men wore heels to distinguish themselves from lower class people. women started wearing heels to look/be more masculine. then men associated heels with being feminine, and heels were left to the women to wear.
Sadly this is the design and product you get when zero people on the team understand zero about fashion and aesthetics. All they have here is a new structural design, sitting in a boring old silhouette, based on the failed assumption that women work and wear high heels to the office(Jump into the the 21st century).
To The Red Carpet: Please, no. No bare feet for women -- unless at the beach or swimming. Not for the street, slog, or stress of striving for a stipend. She must look halfway decent. Also, the unhygienic aspect of bare feet on the dirty ground leaves much to be desired. With the right flat footwear (refer to my comments), she can accomplish a great clean lower leg appearance that will compliment the upper.
' not like 2 high WTC WTC heels soles shoes... must be banned all high WTC WTC heels soles shoes... the shoes companys musts stop makes high WTC WTC heels soles shoes... better use 2 flat heels soles shoes, normal shoes, plain shoes, sport shoes, sandal shoes... important for the foot sakes and healthly... but the bare nake nude foots are the best healthly

It's all about the arch support .
"Down grade and wear uglier shoes?".. I think brogues are beautiful
How are they actually changing the heels design because from what I heard from the video they explain nothing about how it's better.
It's not. Same design. But with some rubber.
now where will this be sold? seems like a great idea to me since a lot of women complain about high heels and i think pumps in particular being a pain after a few hours
I want to try this on.
High Heels are amazing
wow!! this is a great idea. Actually you can find something similar and cheaper in order to make shoes like these, but this is super innovative. I really love it.
very nice shoes
As soon as its on the market, Im buying them.
+snarzz good for you.
They are 350 dollars!
Where can I get these?
GREAT JOB
And the ultimate question: What's the price?
WNCBabyLady She said it will cost between $350 - $900, first model will be at higher price range. The next reiteration will be around $350 - affordable luxury category.
Tatiana Soldatova El stinko for the average working woman. I'll stick to my Naots and Birks.
What?!?!?!?!
To WNC Baby Lady: The El S, is just what we want to avoid: the perception of effluvium.
I wanna try this on!
+Ching Merano-Santos thumbing up because i want the best for you girls.
Brilliant!
If these could be made in an affordable price range, I'd throw out all my traditional heels and wear only these.
+Kaila Sanford happy for you girls.
It is still no good or your feet. Even if there is plastic instead of metal for support.
No entiendo porque ponen esos textos o con que idea lo hacen porque lo único que consiguen es Roberto pantalla y no dejan apreciar las imágenes.
Where little high heels like 2 inch ones
I’m pretty sure they were photographing shoes that weren’t theirs...... because lasting a pair of shoes on that would be more difficult than just designing the base
SpaceX it's all about rocket science
Hola, bonita!! Un vídeo interesante. Felicidades. Me encantan tus zapatos. Muy bonitos, bonitos. Bendiciones y saludos. Besos.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!
Shut up and take my money!!
Just wear some sneakers if you're going to be walking around for hours every day.
Fantastic AND ABOUT TIME!!! Naturally it takes a woman to solve a man made problem...;-D
Man made problem? Wtf
TheWoodfinger only a man can make a shoe a woman CANNOT POSSIBLY walk on, but is experienced universally as sexy....
TheWoodfinger yes. it was the men who first wore heels, not women. they aristocratic men wore heels to distinguish themselves from lower class people. women started wearing heels to look/be more masculine. then men associated heels with being feminine, and heels were left to the women to wear.
pomping14 Men do not force women to wear high heels. It just makes woman's legs and butt look amazing.
Eshan Patil I didn't say men forced women to wear high heels. Where did I say that? I only agreed that it was a man made problem, and explained why.
YOU FORGET MEN WE INVENTED THEM
U could wear tha Corkie wedges
What did I just watch?
Lmao

so fashion is science now? WTF WORLD
Just make women go barefeet
TheRedCapitalist Don't forget pregnant!

i don't trust her.
+pilosopongnicko don't like her but she has her white team of experts behind her.
it is cool but overrated a little bit? probably this is not going to pop in entire world so a little bit pointless but good for her
High heels was invented by men so when they kiss their girlfriends they don't have to bend down too much
Thats not the reason high heels were invented for men.
Great idea, very sexy but still comfortable.
