All 3 came out great! I’m also a huge fan of cardboard for ice dye,using clothes pins to hold the cardboard together, myself. There is no sense throwing boxes away, all clean without a second life😂🎨🌈✌️ Your new tree is fantastic 😍 Great inspiration, thanks for sharing ❤️✌️🧊🎨🌈

Thanks so much my friend...The only shirts i soak are shirts I don't tie up....If the design is loose I tend to get rough patches on the shirt. Its like sand paper was taken to it in spot. If I tie them with sinew or bow string I sprinkle SA on top of the ice like you're describing. I prefer that method because i don't like folding and tying a shirt soaked in SA. It kills my hands. If I don't tie them, I only have to handle them minimally and it prevents the fuzzies🙏 Have a beautiful night and thanks for tuning in🙏

Many of the other ice dye folks use additional soda ash sprinkled on top of the dye and it seems to bond more of the dye. Giving you brighter colors.
