All your work is fantastic! And now I am again inspired to go play with some shibori folds...it has been awhile. Thank you for your great videos. You take the time to show all the steps and I really appreciate that ❤
Thank you brother. And thank you for honoring your creativity 🙏 keep shining and stay tuned for the collaboration tutorial I will be releasing. The guest artist Scott for Frick Fibers ♥️
They are freaking stunning 😍 love the colour combos, got some fun splitters to try, deffo gonna try these folds now, can imagine utilising embroidery to accentuate the trippy patterns to, very cool. Thank you for sharing your process and self 🥳
Thanks for checking it out. And funny you should mention the embroidery, because I had that exact idea. I just didn't have the patience or embroidery skills at the time to pull it off. Maybe i need to revist this or send a finished piece to you for a collaboration 😁
I’ve been hanging on to two silk scarves I want to dye, and I think subconsciously, I was waiting for this! Absolutely perfect for what I’m planning. Thanks so much.
This comment is crazy 🤪 I am literally about to buy acid dyes so I can dye silk scarves. A brother of mine dances with them and want to dye one for i him🙏
Congratulations my friend, you are the winner of the 2nd tapestry from this tutorial..please shoot me your address to psyserenitydyes@gmail.com Thank you
FYI, to get a nice straight edge on the cotton fabric you can cut a slit on one edge and tear it. It will tear across the weave line. You can do this for each edge to get a clean line.
Mark, the shirt you're wearing is phenomenal! What colors did you use? Liquid? Love all you share, my friend❤️... I've missed a few of late and catching up.
So *psyched* I am trying 2 of your techniques with some pieces I've been sitting on! Thank you for the detailed tutorials. Curious... Are you a yoga or mindfulness/ meditation teacher? You have a lovely way of communicating and teaching.
Thank you for being here and actually honoring your creativity sister. I really appreciate the validation. I am not any of those things you mentioned. I am pure awareness while I am creating and from that space, I know just how to communicate in the way people need to hear it. I speak my truth and the ones who are open or resonate receive the message. Thanks again for being you.
thank you for all the great videos! question: what fabric are you using? and do you sew the edges up? I've been buying premade 'tapestries' with seamed edges and tiny fabric loops at the corners. But I just got a sewing machine, and learning to sew, that way I can make custom sizes and use higher quality fabrics. Thanks again Mark!
Thank brother. I am using just your basic cotton fabric from Joanne's . Its definitely more cost effective to make them yourself, or that has been my experience with it🙏
