    This video reminds me of the anecdote about the late herbalist Dr. Christopher. He was invited to be a speaker at a similar sort of health fair probably around 50 years ago. He walked through the exhibit hall and saw all the vitamin and supplement products. When he got up to speak he said, "this fair is supposed to be about health, but walking through the exhibit hall I saw nothing but dead products displayed on the tables..." You could hear a pin drop, and naturally he was never invited back!

    If you think John doesn't care about you then you don't deserve to be on his channel. Thank you John for looking out for everybody even if they don't believe the same as you. Also thank you for all the work you do. I love your good better best approach. I am even teaching it to my kids. We are applying it to many different parts of our lives.

      Who said John didn't care about them?

    • @82olys
      @82olys 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The people talking about how he mentioned if you are going to eat meat you should produce it yourself. How upset they were that he even said that. He only said that because he isn't bias and cares about everyone.

    • @MoniMeka
      @MoniMeka 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Bill Jangins he is right when he said that. at least you can feed the anima'll s what they are suppose to eat and they will not be getting all these weird diseases.

    • @82olys
      @82olys 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Agreed. That was my whole point. That is why I said he cares about everyone. Even non vegans who consume meat. I thought people getting upset because he spoke about that are silly. They clearly don't appreciate the man and therefore shouldn't be on this channel.

      First Amendment he's been a raw vegan for over 20 years, how long do you think it would take? He nearly died just after college and this diet has kept his disease at bay. John knows his body pretty well and takes good care of himself. I high,y doubt that he has heart disease.

    • @nailzius
      @nailzius 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      J.R. Trevino Yea but like most of his vids he could have done this 90 minute vid in 9 minutes. I have no idea why he talks so long about so much nothing. Good dude, but he needs to tighten up his delivery.

    • @tjgrafiks
      @tjgrafiks 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      His delivery is what makes him who he is in the world of healthy living. He may give u info u don't think is important to u but it may be important to someone else. Don't ever change John!

      optivitanutrition yeah, John actually cares about people. I love that. I call myself plant based. I will not call myself vegan. I don't even tell people I don't eat meat. I did it for my health and there is nothing wrong with that, and I tell others the things i've learned on my journey.

    • @toydigger
      @toydigger 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      bookmarkthis You can't stop humanity from eating meat. John's point is, even if you are consuming meat produce it yourself so you don't get adulterated food.
      His main message is health of human life before animal life.
      Although he's against killing of animals.
      I'm plant based because of religion for instance.

      You can't if you don't try and you definitely can't if you tell people it's okay. Just lost what little respect I had for the man. He also started out the video fat shaming, so tell me who is stuck up and pretentious.

      Vegan Tree Hugger: I get it. It is easy to find style errors in John's videos. (Examples: hire a hit man to kill your wife or do it yourself? Making money as a bad motivation? Shunning a person with High BMI... sounds mean) But you just have to think about what he is saying. His info is good even if his analysis has some flawed logic. This makes him human and imperfect... not bad and unworthy of a listen. Your all or nothing logic is just as suspect as his belief we should all live in a coconut growing zone. Hypersensitivity serves no one well.

    It is so addicting to watch JOHN. He has the perfect energy for camera. Love how he knows the product in and out and actually give you information of what's in the expo instead of just showing what's in the expo. And the fact that he can remember all the info not because he tried very hard to memorize them but he knows enough to associate all the info with his daily lives. Greattttt work JOHN!!!!! But obviously you know it already 🙌🏽

    Just came back from Tahiti and brought back a kilo of vanilla straight from a producer! They are the best, fat and so soft: dried naturally in the sun an stored weeks in cotton bags to sweat, unlike those that come from Madagascar that are chemically dried which takes much shorter time.

    My grandparents were farmers but the next generation no longer followed that tradition. My grandfather lost his farm to a rich guy that lended him money. I wish I would have lived in those times to learn all the proper ways of farming. It's not easy but I'm going to see if at least I can grow an Orange tree.

    I think the info that John put out for the world to hear is good information better than watching tv show that just gives you useless information. Because i I watch growing you're greens and watching the vegan athlete I converted over to vegan I'm overweight but since I became vegan I lost weight I grow my own vegetables and fruit trees so if John help one person like me I'm pretty sure he's doing something right by making these videos all it takes is to help one person. So John and Jake mace thanks for all you're help 🙏🏽✌🏽

    I love you man!! So many toys for me to try!!! Until now, I only had one crap (home mixer, plastic...) but soon, soon, when I get back to my feet.
    But not only that... you're prime example of a fine channel content. You've helped me a lot talking to pioneers of fresh food (I do not label people, raw, probitic, meat eater, carnivors, similar shit talk....), I saw most of their mistakes which are they doing even now but it is a great experience, seeing and not needed to talk to them myself to learn soooo much... you're important so much to this beautiful world, you have no idea how much - just keep doing what you're doing. You're awesome. Cheers!

    Thanks for bringing forward the idea of the vacuum blenders, and a lot of other stuff lol. Extremely helpful. I have periods of time where I eat more carbs, but I don't brush my teeth often enough so my teeth become a little sore. I recommend oil swishing, which is just swishing raw oil in your mouth for 10 to 30 minutes and then discarding the oil. I do this once the sugar feast is over, maybe once or a few times, and it removes all of the tooth sensitivity.

    Hi John, thank you. With vacuum blenders, is there an update in the base and blade technology, or is it just the container that is being updated? I am wondering if Vitamix comes up with a vacuum blender, would one have to buy a completely new blender, or do you think it would be possible to just get a new vacuum container?

    I like the Tribest glass blender. Is juicer or blender better? What is the difference between slow speed juicer and high speed juicer? I was told that a slow juicer is better. By the way, is it not better to just eat raw rather than having the raw food processed? (Juicing is a kind of process). I am kind of confused. Would appreciate it if you could do a video on it. Thank you.

    John I am enlightened by your comment regarding eating meat it shows and encourages me that you acknowledge that not every one watching and following you is a hard core raw vegan, and or vegetarian. At this point and time I have not completely made the transition to fully raw vegan and vegetarian but with time and your guidance I know I will get there but at the same time during my transition and continued education I appreciate the fact that you understand and appreciate where I am in my journey instead of condemning me with a holier than thou self proclaimed attitude and judgement. Just wanted to throw this out to those who feel the need to cast stones your way who in their opinion consider your words sinful regarding eating meat.

      Its40 yes. old, still going strong they have tons of them on ebay it's the 3600 plus Vitamix. I love it so much I bought another for a spare in case it dies. I doubt it will, at least before I do, I'm old. It was built when America did things right before planned obsolescence. It has a spigot on the container, great innovation you can taste to see if it needs anything, great machine $75. on Ebay a steal the new ones $400.00...

      Even in Hawai`i you can only grow them a few feet above sea level. I can't grow them at my property that is at 1,500 ft. on the Big Island.

    Hey John, I have a friend that has a Persimmon tree, and I love when we go at his back yard and jsut take them off the tree and eat them! I really want to have that at my place, but I live in an appartment... Can you give me some tips of fruit that would do great out of vases, even big vases, that I could grow on my balcony? I was thinking of Avocados, but they really need some space to grow as a tree... Maybe physalis? I live in Portugal, so the winter here is kind of mild, if that information is of any help. Cheers!

    This was a great video and very informative. Glad to know about the vaccum blenders and will look out for your detailed review later on. Hope you don't mind me sharing a few products that have benefited me tremendously. For beauty products like shampoo/conditioner/teeth/body I never go wrong with a company called "Living Libations"...all their products are amazing and healthy for our body/skin/teeth. The other company that has brought a higher level of health is the probiotics from Puradyme...I make my own yogurts with this stuff and my digestive system is running so much better now. I am not affiliated with these two companies...I just have had amazing personal results with them. Thank you John for all that you do.
    Peace & Blessings,
    Laura

    My food coach told me to not eat fresh/juiced vegetables/fruites in the evening because it will stay in your stomach and turn into alcohol while you sleep. Have you got any opinion on this?

    Here's a tip if you walk near someone smoking in public. Pull your shirt up over your face/nose and hold it tightly on there with your hand until you pass that person. If you can, hold your breath while doing that. But, if you can't hold your breath at least there will be some barrier from the smoke getting past your nose. Oh, and walk really fast, too! I know this sounds ridiculous and probably looks funny but I don't care, I cannot stand it!!

      Oh, yes,, migraines, that's a whole other story, awful to be around smoke when having one... Your lungs do not want smoke in them, it's crazy how so many still smoke knowing this.

    "This is why the world is going to shit" Haha! Wow John! So straightforward. I love it! No longer a sucker of this industry, I'm happy to report your method of going back to basics and growing our own fruits and vegetables as much as possible plays a great part in improving out lives. Environmentally as much as healhwise. Can't grow a coconut tree here in Canada yet! But a greenhouse adjacent to my house is going to get me plenty of greens and fruits/berries year round. Nut trees coming soon!! Thanks a bunch for giving me back control of my life in those areas. Gained back some financial liberties and my time is now spent differently. wouldn't go back! Keep up the much needed work and research! I'm going to peruse your gardening channel now. :))

    Awesome video John, thumbs up :-). I really like and appreciate your way trying to get the people to be more a creator instead of a consumer. My 50 cents to the new blenders coming up soon... although i like the way that Hurom is working on noise reduction, i really like and prefer the way Tribest goes. Many people have a powerful blender at home already, whatever brand and model it might be and not everybody has the money to buy a new blender from the scratch. So with the seperate vacum device and the jar, you might be able to uprade your blender at home to a vacum blender, if Tribest sells those seperately, which i really hope ;-).
