- Command :
1. Know your interface network name
netsh wlan show settings
2. Disable the autoconfig
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled="no" interface="Wi-Fi"
3. Enable the autoconfig (after finish gaming, you need to turn this on to back to normal)
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled="yes" interface="Wi-Fi"
Hi, I have been stuck with ping issues for months in fortnite since I got my new laptop, I tried this perfectly step by step, it didn't work, when I checked my ping it was still spiking to 1000 or 2000, can you please help me?
this method is for wireless only, what you got? wired or wireless?

i've got big lag spikes on EVERY game i play. For some seconds the ping is extremely good only 30 to 50 ms and after 2 seconds it raises up to 200 or 300 then it stays at 200 for 3 seconds and goes back down to 30 and it keep repeating. Will this fix this or not?

My ms was like 16,17,15,18 for sometime like you showed but then it went up to 118,150 and returned back to 2 digits.
yup sometimes but not as worst as before using this method for me
when i type the first command it sayd The Wireless AutoConfig Service (wlansvc) is not running.
you need to run the cmd as administrator
i think because dot3svc is not running on your machine
just type "net start dot3svc" and then you should be able to execute the commands in the video
I have 20 ping then it flys up to 200 and then it starts moving by itself

when i try to disable the autoconfig it responds with "You do not have sufficient privileges or group policy has been applied."
make sure that you run it as administrator
and if its still doesnt work try this, go into windows security & turn off “ tampering “

Why ? Because windows will disable the WiFi adapter after rebooting or shutting the system down

@@sampreeth3169 Not sure hwy my comment never went through b ut i found out about WLAN AutoConfig and WIRES autoconfig in services. The same place this video shows you. Its in alphabeticalm order. Scroll all the way down to the "w" section and youll see it. Look into it before changing anything though. Peace bro. He uses command prompt. Go to your search bar on pc and type in SERVICES. At the bottom of that list.= is where it iwll be. Peace
I need help, my valorant keeps lagging everytime I play it and not in other games.. Set an mtu of 1200 & it will fix the inconsistency, I found this out the other day by playing around with differen’t values & 1200 gave me consistent speed / packet transmission

make sure there's no typo on your command, the differences is only for the "no" and "yes"
