You are right in saying that WS must be submitted in time. I am a victim now. The court did not accept my WS last month due to my delayed submission. The court did not accept my WS . The court was relying on the CPC only. I forced the court to accept my IA for grant of time. Then the court posted the IA for the Plaintiff's objections. After the argument over the IA, most probably my IA would be rejected. This is unfair because the entire world came to a standstill. due to covid. This the courts should understand.Everything cannot goby rule.
04.9.21. I may move the HC on writ revision petition for relief.
In my case one of d defendent filed her written statement after d last chance (2.5 years later) given by d court... n that too without any application of condonation.
It wasn't even mentioned in d ordersheet that she had submitted d written statement on d date marked on it. But d judge accepted it despite our objections.
Where do you seek justice when you don't get it in a court of law?

I friend working for an overseas company wants to know what steps can be taken by atheir company as defendant in a civil suit where their Indian advocate has dragged the case for 20 long years where the lawyers have charged fees but may not have attended the hearings. The appallent company based jn India is demanding an ex_parte judgement from the civil court and the Indian advocate is demanding more fees to procced with the matter.
Court cannot deny justice to either party. Nothing happens in court in 30 days. We have to be practical and fair to both parties.

Sir,I am a plaintiff in partition suit,the matter is subjudice,in this case also my 2 brothers i e defendent s though engage their advocates separately, they failed to file the ws,and they remained silent mute spectator so judge followed the rule book and pronounced the judgement.but after this one of the defendant approached the apelatte court i e district court in may case , convinced the judge to allow to file the ws,n set aside the judgement.n they were successful.now the retrial is going on,though I have a valid case the opponents r buying time n the case is progressing in a snail pace.in between we had corona also.i have filed the suit in 2016,in2018 I got the judgement,but turned down .but retrial started from 2019, they have filed ws, but buying time to cross examination.luckely I have a very competent advocate to defend me,inspite of that they r playing.
I strongly feel the need to reform ,if we need speedy justice.
Otherwise we have laws but they will not help us in time.
Without efficient n speedy disposal, people loose faith.

Wish if there was any way to get a LLB through distance education or any class which could be done once a month cause I want to do LLB with job😥😫

If you have valid cheques, bank jaa kar iss ko dishonor karwa lo. Give the cheque and the memo to your advocate so that he can file a legal notice u/s 138 of NI Act and after that a criminal complaint will ensure.
If you have bills then a recover suit can be filed in civil courts for the recovery of the said amount.
And only the service of defendant/accused will take some time. These cases usually end in a compromise.

One lady who is lawyer by profession in Bhopal, has borrowed 200000 rupees from me in a good faith and i do not have any written document of it. She is passing the dates and not giving the money since 2 and half year. I have recordings (video and audio) for same. Also 3 months back she gave a cheque which is bounced because she signed it different than her signature. How can I get my money back from her. Please please help me.

Written statement is basically a defendant's reply to the suit/plaint filed by the plaintiff wherein he gives objections as to why the suit filed by the plaintiff against him is incorrect and deserves dissmisal . I would also encourage you to read order 7 and 8 of CPC.

Am I allowed to teach physics (for about 3 hours) to school students online in the evening to sustain my living?
Also after I register in the Bar, can I teach physics as usual, for not more than 3 hours a day as a part time faculty in a school?

No you cannot do so sir.
Once you are a registered advocate you cannot earn (honestly) by any other profession, even if you don't get a single case in d beginning of your career.

@@nikhil_mahajan685 I think in first summon you submit your vakakatnama and if it's a matrimonial case they might send you parties for mediation and then the next date comes after 30 days of mediation. Overall its 90 days after summons..will it make any issue if you file written statement after mediation?
