Police does a lot of drama when one goes to file FIR and will do their best to reduce the charges or not file an FIR at all if it is against a big person. Can one file and FIR online instead? Because usually whosoever files FIR first strengthens his case.
Send police a registered post with no contact information of complaint to prevent harassment. Then send complaint to DCP/SP requesting them to direct police to conduct investigation and register FIR. Finally approach magistrate and file a suit u/s 156(3). He will summon police and get them to investigate and report back in 90 days. Judicial officers are better than police.

This is in reference to the Sarabjeet case that you discused. Is the admisibility of a newspaper report vis-a-vis a youtube clipping or FB record not on the same footing? What about verbal evidence by 3rd party. X and Y fought on something and Z gives evidence that X wantedly cheated Y, so fight happened. But Z can't produce any audio, vidoe recording or any sort of material proof. Will the the words , uttered by Z, be useful in delivering justice to Y?
But why would anyone want a miscarriage to happen? Really curious, how can someone be so toxic? Did the families know the gender of the child beforehand?
If someone provokes us by insulting, then we use flithy words against him in emotionaly is it offensive? Because that person threatening me ,he is going to file 504 case

Absolutely it's legal, u r not doing any harm to a person by recording his call.
Blackmailing Someone After Recoding a Conversation or Video Could be a Crime.
