After browsing his store, I knew what I wanted. I ordered my Skystang 1 replica from him. I’ve had it for a week and it’s so amazing! It’s my new “go to” guitar. Thank you both for what you do!
The Fernandes sticker should have been a little further forward. It’s quite an obvious thing to miss tbh as it’s a good centimetre out. That would bug me.

Hello, I have a question. On the website, it says that it uses a Seymour Duncan Humbucker SH1N '59 Neck. Shouldn't it be bridge instead of neck since Kurt used it in the bridge?
Hello, I love your channel! What is listed on the website is correct, as weird as it seems Kurt's Vandalism strat did have the neck 59 humbucker in the bridge position. This has been confirmed by Kurt's guitar tech Earnie Bailey 😃

I'm about to start on my vandalism strat soon. Found a cheap squier at the pawnshop for 60 freaking bucks, what a steal. Can't wait to get that project started.
Actually there is a good squier that looks close KC’s V strat. It is the squier sonic stratocaster HSS. All you would have to get is silver tape, white pick up covers and the sticker
You would really like my Vandalism Stratocaster that i got. It is from the same MIJ line as kurts was, Well made it the same Timeframe 89-90 ST-62 I serial number . And it has 59n from the 90's in the Bridge
The one thing he forgot to do is oxidize the bridge and metal pieces. A 30y old guitar would not have a shiny bridge and plug and tuners. Next time, put them in some HCl and let them rust. The Road worn Jag looks like a 60y old guitar with the metal oxidized. It would look really bad if they didn’t do that. Other than that, looks really good with the relic job.

I bought squier bullet only to try and build this vandalism strat, and i'm left with headstock , can't figure out to make it fender or fernandez or just leave squier cause it aint 100% copy. But Khris always makes them so freaking perfect
You can do it either way because Kurt Cobain swapped The necks on his multiple times he has had a fender neck and a Fernandez Neck ..I built two of these and I put Fender/squier necks on both of mine 👌👌 I say just have fun with it and put the Neck on it that you like the most …most Kurt Cobain replicas arent a 100% anyway because most of them aren’t left handed

Not sure whether Kurt used 1- or 4-conductor. Both should play the same. 4-conductor is the more modern version that also allows doing things like coil splitting.

For sure Kurts hasn´t strap locks and that why he put de tape hahahah. Years ago i bought on ebay this sticker and yeah thats paper sticker, if you wet it can damage an looks road worm. Think it was from khristores. Guitar sounds and looks pretty cool. You can also apply a finish in the neck to look darker like Kurts.
